Satoshi snickered "no no your not under suspicion. He just likes to ask a lot of questions about new people, particularly associated of his friends and family. He's a little overprotective at times. But you men Hitomi, yeah she's a nice girl if a little lacking when it comes to confidence in battle situations."
Felina rolled her eyes "Well its not like your perfect either may I remind you, and Elithana used to do it when she was little before she went into the phase of spending quality time with them instead. Corella I don't think ever did that but then again mum watched her a lot more carefully than she did with us two. Besides the guards just learn to shrug it off and some will even make a joke about it"

Gil nodded "Well sure will be nice to see her again and I've got no problems with his questions but as long as we don't get as drunk as we did that night out in Kunec things should be ok" he said "Provided he doesn't try and get us to do something stupid" he said watching as Enkidu hopped up to the fountain for a drink.
Oassu chuckled nuzzling Felina a bit "Well don't worry dear I'm just playing with you now show me around the fancy bits of town" he said "Though why did your mother give Corella such special attention, surely that should have gone to Elithana being the future queen" he said.
Jeckhart nodded climbing into a black one beside Hebal's car "Well we bed the nest with leaves and you'd be surprised how cushiony it could be but yes Courtship is a bird demon tradition as well, some demons don't bother I hear" he said watching as the rest of the people clamboured into cars "Well I'll see you after this then" he said frowning at the controls and pedals not really understanding it.
Zadina gasped as a long green-spindly fingered hand was placed on Amane and his own shoulder from behind accompanied by a high pitched screech before the car lurched forward out of the room "Well that was certainly unnerving, I really hope my aunties house wasn't like that" he said quietly

Hebal nodded "Uhuh some demons are real mean and more like animals than people. No offence or anything, its the better ones that tend to live in this world by a longshot but yep see ya after the ride and during it and then afterwards-" she stopped listening to the sound of the machines being activated. "Whhheeee I think I got these controls already... or maybe not" she called over to him already having accelerated headfirst into one of the walls
Amane put her fingers in her ears too busy shutting out the shriek to even notice the hand on her shoulder "Geez the people on the ride need to calm down a little, I know it's bad and someone let off a stink bomb in here but theres no need to scream over it" she muttered holding onto the rail as the cart made a sudden sharp turn and plummeted down a small hill into complete darkness. "I think its meant to be this dark for the ride what do you think?"

Satoshi groaned thinking back "Well that just left a massive headache the day after though from what I recall of that night I did have a rather good time dancing. And like I said just make sure you know what your drinking and what you want to drink before hand and you should be ok and be happy knowing you've not just been bought triple strength" she smiled sitting down in the edge of the fountain.
Felina nodded walking around past two members of the city guards "Ok then we're pretty much right next to the more upmarket area since Hayate lives sort of between areas. Theres a lot more policing in this area of town and as you will soon see this area was one if the first ones to be repaired. Elithana was always with dad so she had less time spent with my mum and was expected to learn more masculine tasks. Plus Corella is really girly, more so than me and my mum is like that too"

Gil nodded "Well you recovered well enough I'm sure though really hope your friend doesn't spike my drink, in most countries that's a legal offence I understand" he said wondering why they'd stopped "So you ready to go in yet?" he asked adjusting his grip on the fabrics.
Oassu nodded grinning widely as they entered into the upmarket district "My my my what fat purses this place must have" he said watching a couple of high-class elven women leave a dress shop "Still wonder if Corella shares your mum's weakness for animals then still that looks like a place we should stop by" he said pointing to an elvish sign with a picture of vinyard grapes on it "How is it you elves even make wine? It must be specially distilled to reduce the alcohol content but you don't exactly have the fields or space for a vinyard or brewery" he asked.
Jeckhart smiled watching Hebal crash before accidentally pushing the wrong pedal and reversing away from her into a wall where two other cars manned by giggling bangaa pinned him there.
Zadina groaned "It was hardly nice though I think that's part of the ride" he mumbled a little nervous about the ride now "Well I should hope it's supposed to be this dark as if it was like a tour thing it's really not conducive to the tour if we can't see anything he whispered realising it had gotten very quiet.

Amane shook her head "I highly doubt its a tour cause theres nobody there to guide us or give us information and let us ask questions. Maybe they are trying to show us something though, like that thing whatever its meant to be. Maybe a funny glowing firefly like that little white one swishing about in the distence she suggested giving her eyes a rub "Aww man this has gotta be a joke ride or something I think as I just got splashed by something... at least Merric didn't mind" she laughed listening to the happy kweh from the chicobo.
Hebal meanwhile laughed ramming into the wall a little longer while she worked out the controls "Ha! I totally got this now so I'm so the master of this cart thing and- ooooops" she mumbled having turned a full circle straight back into the wall.

Satoshi nodded hopping up from the fountain "Yep, sorry just thought I would take a small sit down while Enkidu took a drink. It's not legal to do that sort of thing here. Well it is but only when its outside the village as part of a mission if you get what I mean, feel free to punch him in he does that which I highly doubt he will. Will you need a hand carrying them up to my apartment by the way?"
Felina laughed nudging Oassu's arm "Try to keep your hands reasonably close to yourself and away from the big pretty purses, even these people had houses and the like destroyed in the battle. I don't know how wine is made but I'm guessing less alcohol goes into it. Also not all elves live in forests. Some live among open fields in the middle of nowhere which is the perfect place to stick a big vinyard"

Gil chuckled "Nadira I have 6 hands the last thing I need is a hand" he joked whistling to Enkidu to follow along "We'll get up put stuff down have a drink and rest before leaving though hopefully won't need to come to blows tonight" he said.
Oassu smiled nuzzling Felina gently "Sure don't worry I can behave, got the best prize anyway" he said moving toward the suspected-wine shop "Still lets pop in here then figures you import it all couldn't grow grapes and hops in this forest" he said noticing the distinct smell which Oassu would only describe as 'vintage' or 'classic' as he stepped through the door with the little bell ringing above.
Zadina giggled "hehe I didn't get splashed at all, you ok down there Merric?" he said petting the Chicobo in the darkness to ensure he was happy "Can't imagine he finds this all fun but he'll let us know if it bothers him" he said thinking the darkness was a little dull now as he felt the ride take them up a hill.

Amane giggled shaking the water from her fur "Merric isn't too bothered for now, he likes water afterall. Besides he's always there if he needs a cuddle and look over there. Lots of glowy white light things foating about although making silly noises like an owl" she noted making sure Merric was securely in the seat as the ride suddenly sped up and began toand began its descent down the hill.

Satoshi smirked reaching back and petting Terrato who was happily sitting on her shoulders "Well then in that case it's your loss and I'll save mine for someone who appreciates it" she joked back taking Gil through her more familiar streets "It's just the way up to my apartment is narrow and theres an annoying amount of stairs to climb. Why do you think the rent is so cheap"
Felina smiled back gazing around the shop curiously "Most of the time the wine is brought to us at the palace so its a little odd having to seek out and buy the wine for a change but hopefully I can remember a few of the really good ones. We need to be looking for any wine that comes from Erosia if we're going to keep mum happy. Wine is just about the only thing Erosia is famous for other than it's music"

Gil chuckled "We've been here before Nadira I know but I kinda assumed you got paid enough to afford somewhere nicer if you wanted not that you really get to use this place much" he said
Oassu nodded "Well I suppose I can understand that though I think you'll need to do the bartering for me" he said as the old elf near the counter smiled politely while speaking elven to them "Really need to teach me some elvish sometime" he said
Zadina giggled "Hey you're splashing me meanie, still I think those are supposed to be...." he frowned unable to remember "I'm not sure look like paper or sheets to me, maybe the owl noises is the wind and it's blowing the paper around?" he suggested gripping the bar as the ride sped downhill

Amane shrugged keeping a tighter hold on Merric "Hehe sorry I splashed you btu you'll dry off a lot faster than I ever would. Maybe its meant to be some kind of origami display though it would make way more sense to slow the ride down so we could actually look at them. Oh well, lets just hold on tight for now and I think this ride is getting faster and... eep" she squeaked suddenly jerked to the left. "And eww look a glowing skeleton" she moaned reaching forward and pushing it out the way as they zoomed past.

Satoshi paused "Probably could move somewhere nicer if I wanted to settle down again around here but would have to rework my finances to make it fit in. Would be nice to have my own house one day rather than ninja accommodation. That or I work my way up another for another promotion to an elite or ger a second job since this is an expensive place to live" she added making a swift sidestep out the way of other residents running around frantically. "Heh guess they forgot to get somepeople festival gifts"
Felina smiled back and bowed "Well whenever we have some free time, just ask and I'll be happy to teach you a little elvish and how to use and read our runes though I'll warn you now that elvish is meant to be a very hard language to learn" she warned before looking up and initiating a brief conversation with the elf resulting in him retrieving and presenting to them various bottles to pick from.

Gil chuckled "Yeah though I'm not quite sure whether your family will appreciate my gifts or not since I didn't really know much about your family had to kinda get them generic gifts for now" he said holding Satoshi's hand as they walked along "Your dad will probably like his sword though I hope" he said.
Oassu smiled kissing Felina's ear "Well I've got plenty of time to learn dear don't you worry would be nice to be fluent in it sometime and at least learn our wedding vows in elvish" he said looking at the bottles unsure of anything about them.
Zadina jumped slightly as the skeleton appeared "Why are there monsters here?" he asked "This place is supposed to be for children" he said petting Merric to reassure him "I hope it's not dangerous with skeletons here, mind you that one didn't seem aggressive" he said

Amane tilted her head catching a glance of another skeleton that had briefly popped out in front of them almost making her jump "Well they don't seem to be hostile, just random things trying to scare us. Perhaps this is some sort of house that is inhabited by naughty spirits or sprites?" she pondered pulling Zadina into a hug glad to see light ahead. "You ok by the way? You seem a little shaky"
