So my friend calls me last night (rather, early this morning) to ask if he could sleep over. Apparently, he got himself locked out. There were people at his house, but they wouldn't (for whatever reason) open the door for him, and when he tried to call, they'd left the phone off the hook. Bastards. stressed
But I wasn't home! There's a laundromat near me that stays open late - until midnight - and I was there until 12:20am, then I went to the supermarket. He called while I was out food shopping. I told him I wasn't even at home, and you'd think he'd just call someone else. =/
Nope. He waited. Even though i told him I needed to rest while I was on the phone (he wondered why I washed clothes so late, and I agreed, because we would be out of town (as I am now) until Monday, so I really should have been at home asleep.
But as we pulled up to the house at a bit after 1:00am, there he was.
And I don't trust him enough to let him stay over my house. I don't trust him not to take my things. I mean, he wouldn't take anything of consequence, like my purse or something, but he would 'borrow' DVDs, or something like that.
So I was up all night. Finally, sometime around 9:00 am, he leaves. I decide I should get some sleep before we had to leave for the day. I finally fall asleep, and an hour or so later, he's back! D<
It appears that no one answered the door at his house.
I'm going to call his mother, and tell her that she needs to let him know that he should call ahead when he's going to be out late, because I need my sleep too. Friends or not, it's just ******** rude to stand outside a person's house assuming they're going to let you in.
I wish I was more bitchy. Then I wouldn't be so aggravated, because I would have avoided the whole thing.
