Satoshi smiled scooping up the thick rolls of gold and silver fabric under her arm "Well theres no western dragon here. But this part of the world was the first to celebrate the festiva. Then the westerners came over and liked the idea of having an extra day of receiving gifts so made their own version choosing to celebrate the dragon Bahamut rather than Kaizā."
Felina snickered but hugged Oassu "Don't feel down about that. Even if other people don't want to see us as equals I'll make sure that the guards know to treat you with respect and follow orders that you give them. Servants too" she assured him wondering whether she should fish the pet out the bowl.
Adohand shrugged carefully moving the bowl to the kitchen "Probably. But I would rather an ice cream chocobo than one rolling in other things that might be lying around the house like chemicals or mud. I'll just give him a bath when you've left. And that will leave Hayate with the dishes" he added with a small smirk.

Gil nodded "Tell me more about it then if it originated here" he said taking one of the rolls from Satoshi to help her out "I've personally never heard of the dragon Kaisá" he said wondering what the original story was "Though Bahumut is a pretty impressive dragon" he said
Oassu smiled returning Felina's hug "Thanks a bunch dear means a lot, no point being married to royalty if you don't get any of the perks to go with it" he said "Anyway thanks a bunch for the meal but we should probably get going, need to see the shops before they close" he said.
Jeckhart grimaced "Are you sure Hebal? It looks awfully aggressive..." he said watching the people shake rapidly as the carts rammed into them "I'd get in trouble if you were to get hurt while I was looking after you" he said.
Zadina nodded as they moved slightly further down the queue "Well yeah I suppose so, I'm already older than any human so I suppose I should be grateful though there are ways to prolong your lifespan to that of an elf" he said

Hebal paused and eventually nodded her head "Sure why not, it can't be that dangerous if they are letting little kids have a go and stuff. Besides, we can always share one if it worries you so much" she suggested stopping and waiting for him to catch up. "Though why would you get in trouble? Can't watch and protect people all the time you know and I'm tougher than I look"
Amane nodded "I heared about that cause thats what Oassu is trying to do so he won't leave Felina all alone for centuries. But it's not exactly just any old way anyone can get their hands on otherwise lots of people would wanna live for a long time. But i guess I got just over another 250 years which is more than enough time to have fun and travel about and more adventures and maybe even one day we can all go dragon riding"

Satoshi let out a small sigh, relieved to have some of the weight taken off her "Need to get this cut at the counted. To be brief, Kaizā in our culture is believed to be the god of dragons and the one who created the eight legendary dragon lords representing each element but thats a different thing. Kaizā is said to be the master of all elements and has even cheated death on two occasions. He waged war on the human race in the legends in revenge after his children were slain by dragon hunters and the festival marked the day in which humanity was saved by making a truce with the dragons" she explained calling the shopkeeper over as she dumped the fabric on the table ready to be measured out.
Felina nodded bowing to Adohand "Sorry we need to move out so soon but thanks for the meal you two. We'll show ourselves out and let you guys clean up the dishes and the chicobo. I know which one I would rather do" she smiled before turning to Oassu and saying "Your perks won't be that good, it's not exactly like a second daughter gets that many privelages in comparison to siblings closer to the throne"
Adohand simply nodded his head unable to bow back carrying so many things at once "It's no bother, your welcome to come and be fed anytime for feel like getting a little bit of time away from your family for a while and Tuilinn wouldn't say no to extra company again as he seemed to like you"
Hayate smiled and waved "Ok then see you guys around and have fun without Elithana chasing you about trying to spy on what your doing every hour or two and happy shopping" he sighed catching a small glance at the size of the dishes stacked up and scattered around the kitchen benches.

Gil nodded "Certainly an interesting story very different from standard tales of the dragon fetival it's not as violent in the western tradition" he said placing Satoshi's material down on the table beside her other one "These costumes are going to look great though I'll bet" he said happily.
Oassu nodded petting Tuilinn one last time before scooping up Cid from the table "Right then we'll see you later though I'm sure Elithana has much better things to be doing" he said following Felina "Bye everyone!" he said as he accompanied Felina out the door.
Jeckhart nodded "Sure but its best to keep an eye out for trouble anyway just in case, we value those who are so pure of spirit and have turned away from the Dark Association" he said "Still it's my job to keep an eye on you and protect you, even if I'm just here to recover it's important to me" he said.
Zadina nodded excitedly "Yeah we could totally go and do that though if you ever wanted me to try and sneak some extra ingredients for the artifact away if you wanted to live like an elf" he snickered "Though should probably ask Hebal about dragon riding, it's something that Miss Hebal might know about since apparently ancient dragoons did that stuff" he said.

Hebal tutted poking Jeckhart in the arm "Exactly, your meant to be recovering so even if it is your job try letting your hair down a bit and you'll end up feeling in a much better mood. Besides, no pain no gain I believe the saying goes" she grinned happy to see the queue was so short seeing as another batch of people had just climbed into the cars. "I mean tecnically you can't really do your job anyway because the rest of the crew are either in a different part of the world or having a good wander elsewhere"
Amane paused uncertain "I dunno, it could be a bit dangerous couldn't it trying to make something out of spare stuff and wouldn't anyone get mad at you sneaking out ingredients?" she quietly asked checking none of the other group members were nearby. "But yeah just think, if mum taught me how to ride dragons and I learned to summon on, then we would never need to use an airship or a boat again"

Satoshi laughed quickly explaining how much of each fabric she wanted along with a few other bits and pieces "I like the western stories more, they sound more happy and jolly in comparison to our stories though there are some interesting tales to be had out of the dragon wars about great battles and legendary heros that would make you look like a squire" she teased watching the shopkeeper cut away oblivious as to what she was saying.
Felina snickered watching Cid instantly nuzzle up into Oassu "I think our little guy was jealous of little Tuilinn getting all the attention that he did in there. But oh well, I'm sure the chicobo keeps Adohand active on his feet more. So what shops should we go visit or is there anywhere else in mind you would like to visit?"

Gil chuckled "Well yes the age of antiquity was filled with more magic and tales of heroes than you could shake a stick at, now that magic is so commonplace and fiends have been controlled better we hardly get anymore epic tales these days" he said
Oassu smiled giving Cid a gentle cuddle "Aww he enjoyed playing with Tuilinn I thought in there just petting him fine" he said rocking Cid "Still yeah I need to get some presents for your family wine and stuff and whatnot, maybe some chocolate for Corella" he said.
Oassu smiled rubbing his arm where Hebal poked him "I suppose you are right again Hebal but I'll still keep an eye out for you, wouldn't do to see such a positive lady hurt and sad" he said leaning on the bars to watch the next big car battle begin.
Zadina shook his head "Well I wouldn't steal it but we could go on our own quest to get them sometime but not like we need to think of it now, it's a big deal I guess" he shrugged "Though you will be able to summon dragons, when we stop by Yithra I'll take you to talk to Uncle Elorin, he can summon Bahumut and he's like his favourite summon" he said happily

Hebal smiled back resisting the urge to sit on the bars while she waited "you'll have to try hard to make me sad in any other way than having to describe my past to me. Hurt, your fighting a losing battle because sometimes I get real clumsy sometimes, not in battle though. I'm not that bad when the pressure is on" she laughed muttering a small "ooh" as the first set of cars slammed into eachother.
Amane nodded impressed "Yeah thats no surprise, two kings hanging out together but I imagine bahamut isn't all that fond of too many casual summonings to say hi and that or to just ask for a casual ride on his back. Do you think that Bahamut would ever refuse to work with a summoner if they were really mean or something or is that something I would have to ask your uncle"

Satoshi smiled giving the shopkeeper a thumbs up telling him that there was enough of each fabric now cut for her "Yeah theres no more epic tales of warriors without a drop of magic rising up and slaying gods like Kaizā. But in your credit, in these modern times your doing a pretty good job of making a name for yourself with all your adventures and then if I get lucky, maybe my name will get a mantion in those ones"
Felina frowned "Well if you need help with anything let me know, I apologise in advance for my mother is very snobby about food and drink. But yeah Corella is still underage for another 40 years so chocolate is the best option. she likes the white milk chocolate stuff the most. Dad unlike my mum will drink any wine so long as its not red"

Gil nodded "I'd be disappointed if you weren't mentioned though I haven't really done so many exploits since I joined the party, not that the fame is important I'm perfectly happy just looking for Excalibur but no matter I'll settle down someday" he said
Oassu chuckled "Well that's fine you can help me pick something for her then though I was thinking baby gifts would be appropriate for her rather than alcohol" he said as they headed towards the shopping district "Probably be the last of my diamonds for a while too if I want some quality presents for your parents" he said
Jeckhart snickered "Well I think it's cute how clumsy you can be, in the same way a fledgeling chick is cute and unsteady on it's feet" he said leaning on the rails to watch the others slamming into other people "It's weird seeing so many demons in one place, I suppose since the treaty this is the closest they can get to their own commune outside of the association or clan" he said
Zadina scratched his chin "Well I'm not sure, you'd probably know better than me being a summoner and stuff" he said scratching his chin "Don't the summons decide whether you are worth their time when you obtain them?" he said.

Hebal raised her eyebrow but kept her gaze upon the game "Hehe I'm like what 94 years old, I think theres a big age difference between me and one of your little chicks though baby birds are pretty adorable. Plus if you had seen me jump properly then you would know I am very steady when it comes to my feet" she laughed looking arouns at the nearby demons. "You guys are so far away from home so it must be nice seeign others. And the rest of them who were born here, well its always nice to have someone like you to talk to. It felt kinda awkward being one of a few viera in the association as nice as some of the demons tried to be to me"
Amane nodded finally being ushered through the barrier with Zadina to replace some of the people who had already left "Yeah theres that but even summons aren't perfect and can make wrong judgements about people too. Which is why I wonder that if you don't take them seriously or start being mean and bad that they might refuse to answer you when people try and summon them. not sure I want to get relations with them get so bad to find out"

Satoshi paused paying the money then rolling the fabric up making it easier to carry "Yeah and our group isn't exactly seen as particularly interesting, especially when in comparison to yourself. But we have fun so that doesn't really bother me too much. Beats sticking around in this village all year round doing nothing but the odd contract" she shrugged summoning a clone to carry the other fabric for her before it had the chance to try and cling to Gil.
"Oh no I can help out out if you want. I thought you still had pleanty diamonds to play around with. Or did you hand the majority of them to Jenna before you left?" she asked slightly concerned as she opened the front gate out. "you could always get a combination of baby clothes and something else, but your right about the alcohol being no good for a pregnant lady"

Gil frowned "You needn't put pressure on the clones if they're going to be doing work later I could easiy carry them, six arms after all" he said lightening some of the clone's load by removing some of the fabric "Still yeah its certainly more fun travelling for now" he said.
Oassu chuckled "Well maybe I've sent some for her to get by but hey gotta lookout for my family after all but yeah some chocolate and baby clothes I think would be a great idea for your mother" he said following Felina.
Jeckhart shook his head "The association speaks in deceit and dishonesty, you shouldn't trust them in anything but lets not discuss that right now if this is my holiday I'd rather not think of my work during this time we have" he sighed.
Zadina nodded hopping up before frowning "It doesn't smell particularly nice in there but you can always ask your teacher when back home how summons work like that though you're so nice I'm sure every summon would want to be your friend" he said

Hebal took a step back, one of the cars moving a little to close for comfor for the bar she was practically leaning over moments ago. "Alright then since it's your holiday why not tell me what sort of things you like doing for fun. There might be one or two things you'll be able to get done since we can't be checking out the rides all day everyday while here. Plus that sort of conversation gives us the chance to know eachother on a more informal level right" she smiled hoping she hadn't put him in a bad mood.
Amane shrugged only just noticing a small cart for the to sit in "Ooh this is some kind of ride? Only one way to find out though the smell doesn't seem to bad to me. I've smelled worse" she remarked sitting down at the far side. Maybe someone was mean and let off a stink bomb in there cause look at all cloudy the enterence is with all that smoke coming from behind the door"
