I also got the Infantryman's Handbook, but I also picked up the Iron Warrior omnibus. I just finished Shadows of Treachery last week.

I managed to pick up a copy of Death of Antagonis from the weekend while at Warhammer World, and so far it's not a bad read. A little odd, I can't seem to decide on what I think of David Annandale's writing style. It seems to be all over the place, and at points it's not very clear. But so far the story is turning out to be an interesting dive into the psyche of the Black Dragons and another side to the Excorsist chapter. I won't give too much away, but there is also a hint of 28 Days Later.

Well, that's Death of Antagonis finished and in regards to David Annandale's first story for Black Library, at least his first published story, it wasn't a bad read. Admittedly there were parts when I was thinking "what on earth?" the story did give some very interesting plot twists, but at the same time there were also some very predictable plot elements to the story. Towards the second half of the book, I was reading it and with some of the deeper story to it, I was telling myself, this is going to happen and that is going to happen. Getting towards the end, I found that this did happen, and that did happen. The title is a little misleading, as the story wasn't centred around Antagonis, it's more the catalyst for the events of the story. As I said, it's worth reading when it's released on general sale in February. As for David Annandale's next story: Yarrick: Chains of Golgotha, I will take a look seeing as it's a novella. I believe that it will be the special exclusive for February, but I could be wrong. I wasn't listening to the comments about Yarrick when I was at Warhammer world.
Now I have either Path of the Incubus to read, or Betrayer. Either those two or I might re-read Deff Skwardron or buy Ravenwing or Neferata.
