"dude we left a long time and got what we needed." Medri looked down when he came back alone... "Kana, She said bye for a while. I don't know what came over her..." Medri looked sad like his heart had just been ripped out again.

images; a rush of panic and fear...
That was the energies rushing through the link; the bond created by the Inverse drive.
Gray was completely losing it, unable to defend himself agiast the onsluaght of illsusionary attackers...
Part of him was thinking it was the Driver's doing, But a glance at his sweatshirt showed no purple lights; was this ....real, then!?
"No, NO!! GO AWAY-!!"
And suddenly, at Gray's desperate scream, the vertigo-inducing nightmare flickered one last time, and vanished.
The seizure-like leaps between reality and mental illusion stopped, Mercury wasn't self-destructing...was it?
Gray half-colapsed, breathing hard; both eyes glazed over and darkened with exhuastion. "...huh....haah...Uwahh..."
KWuuooo.....
Gray's eye's shot open wide, but the drain prevented him from a more helpfull reaction as the Cockpit flashed red with emergency lighting. Alarms blared all over; Mercury had shut off!
"Oh, no-"
Mercury was mercifully only a few feet above the ground at this point, but moving at a rather rapid pace. Pitching sideways, It's eye lights blinked out and it smashed into the ground in a cloud of displaced dust and a few uprooted shrubs; twisting over once before skidding to a halt on it's side; it's feet still clamped to it's upended board as it lay sprawled in the dust, miraculously only scratched.
There was a hiss as the cockpit cracked open, and Gray attempted to drag himself out of it....

"Holy-!! Damnit, what is you PROBLEM??"
The crash jerked Senturi down slightly, making Kayako detach the mech's chains before she herself got rammed into the ground. Swerving to avoid the dust from the ground, she steered down and set her LFO down, opening her own hatch and scurrying out. She wasn't exactly sure what she would do first, make sure he was alright or hurt him for causing this.
Running to Gray, she contemplated whacking him one but decided to give him a chance to defend himself first. "What the hell just happened? That wasn't the drive I know it, so you wanna tell me what the heck you where doing up there??"

He nodded and came back. Dust filled the air where they all where he coudn't make out what was going on only thing he knew that kayako was trying to stop gray and that was all he did a quick circle and landed. He steped out and sat in front of his LFO and waited for what was next."

Jenny Landed a safe distance from everyone and the Cockpit opened up. Medri sat on the side of the LFO with his head cocked into his hands looking towards the sky in no general direction. He was trying to ingore the drama becasue he knew that he could not help in the least, it was kayako's and grays bussines. Even if he could they would mostly not let him help, they where both in there own world so much.

He sighed and closed his eyes and layed his head on the foot of twilght and looked up at the sky he wondered what he could do to help after everthing calmed down and they got a plan ready.

Gray was having difficulty focusing, Like a sandstorm whirling about in his head; filling every thought with static and a million whispers...
"nn..gg...."
Something purple-haired and hazy was dancing in his vision; Kayako, problably...only she could shout like that. Gray was so disorienated and dazed but the events that he couldn't seem to controll his mouth right, only able to produce a series of scrambled mumbles; and now his arm was aching....
Plus, explaining what just happened was next to impossible, as even He couldn't define it.
So...
Gray trained a second tiem to lever himself up from the Cockpit hatch, but it didn't work. Slumping exhuastedly on the metal, Gray's eyes closed and the driver began to glow for a second; sending a specific series of pulses out:
In short, a "instant replay" of what the world had looked and felt like as seen by Gray, projected out at kayako as a clutter of mental images and sound, and a rush of panic wrapped all around it...
She could decide, and he really didn't care at the momenet whether he was dealing with "Kayako", or "the purple-haired psychopath"....

"OW-!! Idiot what did you...."
As she was walking over to him Kayako stopped and grabbed her head, cringing and covering her ears like one would do if someone was screaming very loudly in your head. She stayed like that for almost a minute, watching little flashes go around like someone had picked up pictures and swirled them in a tornado. When it was over, the purple-haired girl opened her eyes again and immediatly glared at Gray.
"There are probably WORDS for that....."
Standing up again, she started over towards him again, only walking slower and looking slightly diffused. She didn't even bother climbing up on Mercury to stare him down; instead she simply stood next to the silver LFO and looked at the blue-haired one with a blank and sort of isolated stare. She really wanted to pummel him....but just sort of.....couldn't. Mixed in Kayako-logic the reasons why were hard to explain and just as jumbled as the boy's thoughts were right now.
"............Do you want me to help you get down?"
.....And thus, hell had frozen over. Twice.

Gray mumbled; trying a third time to get loose; prying Mercury's hatch open farther freed him from the downed LFO and sent him toppling to the dirt in a heap.
Gray sighed, sprawled on plowed up dirt, rocks, and grass; his hand touching his dinged-up LFO mech.
...Am I just..going crazy...?
Gray wondered for a moment, trying to re-grip his sanity.
".......thanks...Kayako...But; It seems gravity beat you to the...punch..."

She didn't say anything, just seemed to look to the side past everyone for a moment, lost in her own thoughts. Deciding on something, Kayako then took another step forward and knelt down, taking Gray by the arm that wasn't previously engaged in slicing.
"Come here." was all she said.
She used his arm to bring him rightside-up, then allowed him to lean against his LFO where it was on the ground. Of course, she really didn't understand why she wasn't killing him still, but logic is logic and arguing with herself was pointless. Kayako didn't say anything after that either, just looked at the blue-haired boy up and down, checking him for injuries.
'Why does everything feel so...isolated right now..? It's like the others aren't even there, just him...."

He saw her lifting him out he didn't even look at them he got up and walked behide his LFo and checked over a few parts then walked back. He then went towards's Medri and sighed." is he gonna be okay? " he sead that looking towards Kayako and Gray."

Gray felt oddly weak, and rather embaressed: he often hid, avioded social interactions, stayed shut up in his LFO becuase only it could...
...understand him...?
Gray glanced down and to the side, looking away; trying hard to hide a very un-masculine blush on his face; his hair was a usefull tool in shadowing his features. It was indescriably strange....he'd just gone through a series of unidentifiable hulcinations and a nightmarish vision, but suddenly, every then was slowing down-becoming calm, focused, quiet.
Gray's own heartbeat was abruptly loud in his ears; who knew why.
This was...
The old him agian; the balanced, whole part of him leaking through agian; was this the cure? this strange moment seemed to be weakening the sheilds he'd mentaly crafted to hide himself behind, eroding the Taint of the Inverse driver's curse.
What...is this feeling? It's like in that driver-zone, and before...What is it..?
"k...kayako..."
Gray mumbled, his head filled with questions and his face still turned away to hide his embarassment at this slight discomfort the situation afforded the pair...
what are the words... I want to..say??
Some inner vioce mumbled as Gray mentaly tried to come to grips with himself. Since when had he been so shy...?

Kayako just stopped an looked up at him, more than a little confused. He never acted like this before, she couldn't even place what exactly the feeling being transferred to her was called. Nothing made sense; the others never said anything at all in the background. It was like they weren't even there at all. It was just confusing. The only thing the purple-haired girl's mind could think to say at this point was...
"What is it?"

He sighed and thought to him self. "All hell is gonna break loose by the time we get in there. I bet they know we're here, man I better get ready.." he walked back to Twlight and started to check everthing over. He found a few damaged peices, but they wouldn't be a problem. He then sat down and sighed as he looked at a photo of his parents.
