Mat i thought there was only less than a company of Black Templar left after their fortress monestary was attacked and destroyed by orks Close,Your thinking of the Crimson Fists.They and The B. Templars are second foundings of the Imperial Fists. The poor old Crimson Fists number about 400.(I think.)

no im sure it was black templar that lost their base after the ork attack, Then they took out the Ork Mega Gargant on Armageddon

That might of been just one crusade.The templars have several diffrent crusades going on all over the Imerium.

Mat no im sure it was black templar that lost their base after the ork attack, Then they took out the Ork Mega Gargant on Armageddon um crimson fists lost nearly there antire chapter in a fight where space orks crashed a hulk into there fortress monistary. or something like that i think is was a hulk O.o hmm... --kirk

It seems more logical since crimson fists have suffer not the alien to live (orks). Maybe i'm just over logical.
on a different note the new black templar models i've seen are gonna be awesome! domokun

Summary from Crusade for Armageddon
Battle-weary Marshall Brant of the Black Templars returns home after leading his Space Marines to victory through countless campaigns. Lozt_1 Games day was awsome!!! And here are the new sprues! They explained that part of the BT theme is that they chain themselves to their weapons – i.e. they’ll do anything to stay in the fight to the end. i am definately gettin me some of those!
