Jaron sighed as the young boy walked off. He turned and rushed to the ship were Luger was screaming like a mad man. Just as he boarded the ramp he turned and focused his will on an overhanging and brought it down right in the walkway infront of the prociding mob. He then scrambled up into the ship which took off a moment later.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luger stood there staring at the jawa, a moment more and they would have been done for. They still may be. Thanks to his cousins flying and Haldirs co-piloting they may just make it off the planet alive."Your off at tha next stop, now were's my and my own's credits?"
Jaron sighed and went over to a seat and sat down........
Vera bowed her head and afforded the moment of silence with the others. After a minute or so, she raised her eyes and closed her eyes. "We should be on the move," she said simply. "There are sinister forces at work, and we cannot rest here."
"I agree," Iria said, a gentle breeze swaying Ansion's grasslands. "The Sith will no doubt be drawn to our Force signatures should we remain much longer," And then, turning to Iust, she said, "and I imagine that three craft in the area may certainly draw the attention of Ord Mantell's underworld elements."
Ebony twittered. Vera thought for a moment. She was not fluent in droidspeak by any means, but she was beginning to learn it from the little astromech. "There are vessels coming, I believe, according to Ebony." She patted the droid's head. Her other hand went to her blaster.
"Thanks!" Iria called out to Vera. Turning to Iust, she queried, "Think they might be the goons of this Graka fellow you mentioned?"
"Who is Graka?" Gunther queried, also reaching for his lightsaber.
"Apparently, a really nasty crime boss, operating out of Ord Mantell," Iria noted. "You'll have to ask him for more details," she said, nodding to Iust.
Yolee gave an exhasperated sigh. "And I had hoped we'd left such unsavory hooligans in space with our last encounter." As she too had had her lightsaber destroyed, she pulled out her blaster and turned off the safety. Then she looked at Iust. "What's his story, anyway? He's no Jedi."
Loki the Stampede
Anzle sat back in the corner table. The Lok cantina was bustling. All anyone was talking about was the damn Civil War. A holocast project fron the center of his table was showing the devisation of the most recent space battle. His armor was covered by a long tan poncho, and his helmet in his gear bag at his side. This area was full of a lot of thugs and others who were pissed off about the war, due to the lack of smuggling and such through that area. Anzle sighed. He had seen enough of the holo, and turned it off. He stood up from the table, leaving a few credits on the table.
He moved towards the door, when a large Gamorrean blocked his way. It snorted loudly, drawing the bar's attention towards him. It fell silent, as a angry looking Bothan approched Anzle from his right. Naturally, he turned and faced him.
"Can I help you?"
The Bothan's face twisted.
"Yeah... Cuz you turned in my brotha', you should DI-"
As the Bothan reached the letter 'D', he had his hand on his blaster. By the letter I'', Anzle had his aimed. And before he could say the letter 'E', there was a smoking hole in his chest. The Gamorrean's eyes went wide, and it brought its fists into the air, and then down, catching on the poncho, tearing it off Anzle as he rolled away. As it turned back to swing another punch at Anzle, it was greeted by a DC-17m, converted with a Scatter Blaster round. The blaster found its way into the Gamorrean's face, throwing it through the door.
Anzle looked around. His Mandalorian armor, now was shown to everyone. No one knew how to react. Anzle reached into his bag, and brought out his helmet. He put it on his head, and took in the bar, through a virtual view. Everyone there just was starring, confused and scared. Anzle liked that. He dropped a few credits on the dead Gamorrean's body as he walked on it out and out of the cantina. The creds would help clean up the mess he made.
It was raining now. The little putter sounds of the rain hitting his helmet and armor were almost soothing. He made his way to his ship, he need some more work to pass the time...
(( Johnny: I do believe that's your cue, dear. ^^ ))
"He's a good enough fellow," Iria said to Yolee. However, I do hope she really doesn't think of me as mother's modern day avatar. she silently mused to herself. We have the same DNA. And, apparently, I share her memories, to an extent. She then shook her head. No. She's gone now. And she told me to live my life for myself, wherever my path takes me.
Gunther looked to Kalnar, and both nodded in agreement. I should like to know that, as well. What makes him tick? Still, I agree with Iria for the time being.
While the reinforcements returned to their positions a few parsecs southwest of Conruum, Fleet Admiral Alka sat in holoconference with the Grand Admiral at Kuat and the local Moff, Deitr.
"We've just received the folow-up on the Dxun operation. Victory, but the Dxun colony itself was lost. It's defense fleet has left with the traitor, and those among them who deamed to return to our side have done so. Onderon is blockaded now, but I also must report that Mandalore the Immortal has died in the blast."
"You have proof?" Deitr demanded.
"No," he replied. "But the man and everyone else was caught unawares by a hundred Class-A thermal detonators. Noone's survived."
"A pity," Grand Admrial Thorn replied. "His forces will not want any more part in the war for the while, but Kenet has lost Dxun, and if what you say is true, Mandalore the Conquerer as well, through traitorism. He's weak now."
"Yes, but I still wouldn't risk attacking him," Alka replied. "If he still has that EMP device, it'll just be another massacre."
"Don't tell me you're afraid," the Moff sneered. "You still outnumber him, and he may have lost his closest allies. Why do you still waver?"
"Because I'm not willing to lose my men," he countered. "I don't throw my men's lives away, and I won't risk an attack I can't be sure of."
"Very well," Thorn interrupted. "We'll speak of this later. Don't attack, but don't be lax on defense either."
Alka saluted. "Yes, sir."
Voor, pulled himself free from the rubble, his dull yellow armor scorched and dented from the blast.
He coughed painfully before looking around, Ignoring Kusei.
"Mand'alor?! Mand'alor!!" He called franticlly across the smoldering debris field.
The big alien tabbed his helm Comlink and sent a call on Mandalore the Immortal's frequency.
"Mand'alor!!" Voor shouted into the comn. "This is Voor, respond Mand'alor! Do you read me?!"
There was only static.
"The Galactic Core Fleet is the remnants of the Galactic Alliance fleet. Unfortunetaly, it is hard to locate them. They may be of some help to your cause though. I've heard of several smugglers seeing them around in various sectors so it's not impossible to find them." Bastet stated.
"Thank you for your support." Aurora said.
"Of course, any frineds of yours are friends of ours as well. Now, how does some lunch sound to all of you?"
Back on Mandal, things were finally getting settled. Deep within the caves of the Mandal jungles, buried a mile and then some beneath the ground, the new cloning facility was finally secure.
Currently, Major Draiden had ten spaarti cylinders operational with all the required nutrient delivery systems, training programs, and growth programs.
The Mandalorian Lord came up to the major, escorted by ten troopers with ysalamiri and their food source. "You have no clue how hard it was to get some of these. Took us the better part of a week."
"I'm glad to know they're so valuable," he replied, directing in the placement of the lizards. "Make sure they're comfortable. Until we get a good supply of them, we can't risk losing them."
They nodded, and paid extra attention. As the last one was set, Draiden gave the command to deposit the cloned embryos of the local commando captain. He watched as each finger-nail sized replica was lowered into the pink solution. "The future...'
"How long will they be ready?" the Lord asked.
"About three weeks," one of the technicians nearby answered. "We want to see how these will grow and adapt before speeding up the process any. We also need time to study the effects of the process. If we're on schedule, full production can begin within seven weeks."
The man made a clicking noise with his tongue. "Forty-nine days. A lot can happen in that time."
"Yes, a lot can," Draiden replied, as the other people began filing out of the room. "But not enough to endanger this operation; not by a long shot. You've got the place more heavily defended than Taris is now. You could take on an entire sector flet and still be able to produce the next day."
The man smiled wickedly. "Well aware of that, major. How much can we expect of you?"
"If this day's batch work, you get ten by the end of the month. If this group is succesful, then you'll have another thousand in another month, with growing batches after that. By the end of the year, if we're lucky, we could have ten-thousand in production every three weeks."
He whistled. "Impressive numbers. We might need to upstep production in our yards."
"That would be a good idea. With more people, we need more places to put them. Soon would be a good time to hit the Corporate Sector and the other areas..."
(I know that Stellar. Three weeks is 21 days. I intend on it being more like 25 days.)
((Just so you know the maximum rate a Spaarti cylinder can have with Yslamiri to preserve the clone's mind is 20 days... no faster.))
"I'm a bounty hunter based out of Ord Mantell, I helped Iria get off Chandrila. Unfortunately for her she got mixed up with my problems after we landed on Ord Mantell. As for Graka, he is a Hutt Crimelord on Ord Mantell, I seemed to have killed one too many of his associates for his liking, now he'll do anything to see me dead. Including attacking people I have been seen with. Last time he attacked us he nearly demolished an entire hangar and sent many of his henchmen to finish the job off. We managed to escape but he won't have given up pursuit so fast, chances are he is going to becoming after me in greater force than before. If that is his men coming then we best get moving, otherwise this place is going to turn into a large firefight." Iust replied.
He he hoped he had given them enough information, Graka was rich and had many connections, that made him extremely dangerous. He could hire the best mercenaries and bounty hunters in the galaxy, and chances were that he already had. One doesn't kill over thirty of a Hutt's men in a single day and steal enough credits to pay double the price for a combat ship and not get a substantial bounty placed on his head. Iust regretted coming here, if those ship's are Graka's, Iust had just embroiled them in a conflict that had nothing to do with them.
