"That sounds like a plan," she laughed, and Rosemary agreed by waving her leaf around again. She scampered up onto Kasiya's shoulder, and then up onto her head, where she made herself cozy and enjoyed the view.
"Chika!" she called, ready to go anywhere.
"I hope Shocker doesn't get jealous," Kasiya giggled, looking up a bit to see if she could see her Chikorita. All she could see was a green leaf that seemed to have a mind of its own.
"And we're off to find food!" Kasiya cried, pointing in a random direction. "Actually, I think there are some good places to eat over there," she said, and started to lead the way.
"Chikari!" Rosemary called, turning back and waving at Keegan and Helios, signaling for them to hurry up.

"Alright, alright, we're coming," Keegan chuckled, and followed them. Again he took in the sights of the city. The buildings were a lot taller here than they were in Lavaridge Town. He felt a pang of homesickness wash over him as he thought of his home town, and had a sudden longing for the hot springs.

Nina regained her composure after a couple moments. "Sabrina may have already told you this," Nina said to her parents, "but my friend Kilik was kidnapped by Giovanni, of Team Rocket. I asked Mike and Mitsu to help me and Sabrina get him back... but the problem is that we have no idea where Giovanni could be holding him."
"Well, that's not completely true," Sabrina said. "There are many bases that Giovanni has used in the past; we just need to figure out where he may be hiding. Let us rule out the bases that he has in Johto, and stick to the ones that are in Kanto. My belief is that Giovanni wouldn't bother going to that region, as it would take some time, and with Kilik bleeding as badly as Nina described, he probably would have died if he didn't get immediate medical attention; thus, it's extremely likely he is still in Kanto." Walking over to one of the tables in the room, Sabrina pulled out a town map and unfolded it, taking a few small markers from a nearby table. Everyone gathered near Sabrina to see what she was doing.
"It is known that Giovanni has a base in Viridian City," Sabrina said, using a blue marker to circle Viridian City on the map. "Also, there is a Rocket Warehouse all the way on Five Island," she said, indicating with her finger, using a red marker to circle that location. "I have heard rumors that Celadon City's Game Corner has a base below ground," Sabrina stated, circling Celadon City with a green marker, "and there is still a small possibility that he could be using the Silph Co. tower." Sabrina circled Saffron City in a yellow marker.
"Wait," Nina said, "I don't think that Giovanni would still be at the Silph tower. He got what he wanted from there, and with the increased security near the building, there's no way that he could get into there, much less conduct any sort of activities."
Sabrina considered her sister's reasoning for a moment. "I suppose that you're right, Nina," she said, before using the yellow marker to put an X through the circle she had drawn around Saffron City. "So that leaves Viridian City, Celadon City, and Five Island. There are four of us, and three areas that need to be explored. That means that one person is to travel to one location, one person is to travel to another, and two people are to travel to the last. We should figure out who--"
"Wait, Sabrina," Jessica said. "There are six of us here. I told you that your father and I are going to help you in any way that we possibly can, and I meant that."
Michael nodded. "Your mother is right, girls," he said. "No matter what the situation is, the two of us will be here to help you. We've been absent in your lives for far too long as it is, especially in Nina's."
Nina and Sabrina smiled. "Thanks, you two," Sabrina said. She turned back to her map before she began speaking again. "As I was saying, there are six of us, and three locations that need to be explored. We should divide up into pairs, and then have one pair explore one area, and so forth."
Nina felt her Pokenav vibrating, and she took it out of her pocket. She had a new email, and read it to herself. "...I'll come running... Kasiya..." she said, quietly. Looking up, she smiled. "It looks like we've got someone else who wants to help, too." Nina stepped away from the table for a moment, and dialed Kasiya's number. The other line rang...

"Keegan?" Kasiya asked, turning to look at him. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked. Rosemary waved her leaf at him, making happy sounds. "You look a little, I don't know, lost, maybe?" She slowed down and waited for him to catch up. "You know, that 'you can tell me anything' bit goes for me too."
The sudden ringing of her PokeNav caused her to jump a little, and she fumbled for it before she pulled it out. "It's Nina," she said, holding it up. "I guess she got my email." She held it up to her ear, and turned it on. "Hello? Nina?" she asked, almost frantically.

Mitsu listened intently to both Sabrina's and Nina's explantions of where Kilik could have been held. Who is Kilik? She had never heard the name before, or at the least she hadn't remebered it. "Viridan, Celadon, and Five Island," she repeated. Scattered pieces of information filled her mind, but nothing important. Karri remained silent as she looked at the map, perhaps remembering where each of the places were.

"Kasiya! Hi!" Nina said. "I just read your email... None of us have done much of anything yet-- we're in Saffron Gym and have just finished going over the possible bases that Giovanni may be at right now. So far, we have Viridian City, Celadon City, and Five Island..." She cleared her throat. "Is there any way that I could convince you to help us?"
"Is that Kasiya?" Sabrina asked. When Nina nodded, Sabrina said, "Please tell her that I'm sorry I hung up so hastily on her when I had called her."
"Oh," Nina added, "Sabrina said she's sorry for hanging up on you so quick when she called you last."

Keegan only smiled as Kasiya answered her ringing phone. "I guess they need her already," he told Helios, turning away as not to eavesdrop on the conversation. He couldn't help but feel a little bit left out, even though he didn't know anyone involved. Well, he knew Mitsu and Mike, but he didn't know they'd be included in the upcoming operation. "Maybe we should head home for a bit," he told the Vulpix, who nuzzled his hand in reply.

She listened patiently to everything Nina had to say, chuckling a bit as she mentioned Sabrina's apology. "Oh, it's okay. It was really rude of me to say no without even really listening," Kasiya admitted, feeling both a bit guilty and a bit sheepish. "I suppose it was really selfish of me." She paused for a moment, trying not to laugh as Rosemary tried to tickle her with her long leaf. "I can lend a hand," she said. "Who's all helping so far?" she asked, suddenly curious.

"There's me, obviously," Nina began, "and Sabrina, Mike, and Mitsu." She paused for a moment before she continued to speak. "And... my mother and father are going to be helping us, too."

"I see," Kasiya said, not knowing at all that Nina had only just met her parents. "I don't think there's anybody here in Celadon," Kasiya said, her eyes turning towards the Game Corner, which was suspiciously quiet. "A while back, well, Team Rocket kind of kidnapped me and tried to force me to join them, but Mike came to my rescue, and we kind of flooded and destroyed the place," she said, giggling at the thought of Shiver's Surf and Titanium's Earthquake ripping the place to shreds. "I doubt they'll be back there anytime soon."

Nina's eyes got a little big. "What is it with them and kidnapping?" she asked, visibly annoyed-- not at Kasiya, but at Team Rocket. "And, you said that you guys booted them out of Celadon?" She looked to Sabrina, who kind of chuckled at Nina's remark, and then used the green marker to X off Celadon City, leaving just Viridian City and Five Island.

Keegan jerked his head up at the mentioning of Kasiya being kidnapped before. It was hard not to overhear part of the conversation, and he whirled around, looking at her as if she'd just hit him in the back of the head with something. "What do you mean 'kidnapped'?" he mouthed, looking very confused.

"They fled that place so fast you might have thought it was infested with a plague or something," Kasiya said, reassuring Nina. "And I guess that's how they get a lot of their new members. By force." She looked up at Keegan, who was looking a bit lost. "I'll tell you later," she mouthed back, waving her hand at him. Rosemary gave a squeal of delight and waved her leaf, mimicking her trainer.

Nina chuckled at Kasiya's plague remark. A few seconds later, she heard a squeal on the other line. "Ooh, was that Shocker?" she asked.
