I don't really talking about the whole how to act after a break up, I tend to come off a bit jaded.

First of all, I have to say, Ini saying I wish I was gay made me litterally burst out in LOUD laughter xd
Secondly, yes, poeple ******** SUCK. Period.
Now, what I am about to say here MAY sound rather superficial but I hope I can redeem myself. I PREFER the skinny, petite young girls (not THAT young, sicko's, young looking. The girl Hime works with is my age but looks 18-20) I like being able to pic up a girl and carry her around, play and frolic and such. Thats one of the reasons I like asian women as much as I do.
NOW, in saying that, as much of a horny sick ******** that I can be, there is little that turns me on more then a woman with a good mind. If a woman can look good with whats she's got and can carry a good convo and has a good sense of humour, then I fall into the age old guy trap of hey, she's so cool in all thses ways, I wonder what she's like in bed as well... and flirting, god, I love flirting and women who are good at it xd
Fortunately, I seldom express these kind of thoughts that I know in some ways, most men do have in one form or another. I just tend to be a little too open with what I think and oddly, it seems to really wierd people out. C'est la vie ^^;
I also think that society has tried to pigeon hole people into what media thinks they should be that people are too afraid to be themselves and do what THEY want to do.

The Ides of March I think leading a person on is one of the most despicable and cruel things you can do. I dont' know about most guys, but I know that for me, I can want someone to like me so much that I can take something they say completely with no meaning behind it at all and overanalyze it. Turning it into something that means " I like you" or "I really like you alot" its happened to me at least 3 or 4 times in the past, and sort of recently. Yeah I can be stupid like that, but hey, when I see that it kind of eases everything over. It also makes it easier to talk to the person I thought liked me because I know it wasn't them doing anything, it was just myself.

... interesting conversation.
A bit of advice.
If you want to stop getting the "I just want to be friends" treatment...
stop being such a good friend.
... you with me?
no?
okay, lemmie 'splain.
The reason girls don't like "nice guys" and guys don't like "sane girls" is because while they may be reliable and very good people... they tend to not be very exiting.
What do I mean by exciting?
Man you ask a lot of questions.
If you're a nice respectful person, hook ups don't tend to be your MO. That means anyone you potentially want to get with you aim to be friends first. If you succeed then they have a good person, with whom they have a mostly functional interaction with on a plutonic level. And that's bad.
Why is that bad?
scream DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AROUND HERE!!!
It's bad because the general law is that, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If the relationship is perfectly functional on a plutonic level, where you communicate well and listen and care and are there for them and are open and close... adding sex to that equation does nothing but risk complicating the scenario and instinctively they know that.
They already have everything in the world they could need from a person in you right then... why in the hell would they ruin that?
If you don't leave any room for growth or progress then they won't give you anything extra.
A standard rule of human nature is that you don't pay for something you already get for free.
They're getting all this from you without being accountable to you. Without having to worry about anything else. Adding sex makes things complicated. They are then accountable. There is another level of intimacy and getting along that you have to fit into the equation.
So I say again... if you want to stop getting walled out as a friend... stop being such a good friend off the bat... give them something to want.
