Amnity had the advantage of speed in her side though, speed and cunning reflexes. She literally caught his fist this time, able to block it properly with both hands. She grinned, taking the slightly tense atmosphere and trying to morph it to one that wasn't so...Tense. "What...No drunken fist Mephlius?" Her voice was a bit strained, but for a good reason. If Mephlius was paying close attention, her voice was completely normal. How she managed to fight her lycan side back, and during a fight none the less stunned her the very most, but it obviously took a lot of effort.

Mephlius' fist shrunk in Amnity's hand. "Welcome back, Amnity!" His muscles didn't go down much, but his fur shrunk down, some of it shedding off onto the ground. Mephlius continued pressing the fist into both hands that were restricting him. "There's just one problem with this block." While she used both hands to catch his fist, his free hand darted forward. But it didn't look like a punch. It slid right past her. The hand was placed on her lower back. Mephlius took a step forward, placing his leg to block both her shins. He pressed forward, in an attempt to take her down to the mat, and go for the pin.

Amnity assumed that the fight was over. Apparently, it wasn't. She fell flat on the mat, baffled, still trying to figure out what just happened. "Di-...Did you just cheat?" She demanded. This time, despite the many other times she accused him of cheating in a fight he actually did cheat. She struggled. "Oh how unfair!"

"Yeah." Amnity got up as well. "That's supposedly how every match goes." She was still a bit bitter for bieng distracted and getting caught off guard. "I'm going to have to work on focusing if I'm ever going to win a fight against you."

Mephlius smiled, and slid smoothly into his familiar stance. He swayed about, as if he was drunk. But every little sway was a potential attack. He charged directly at her. Just out of reach, he rolled to his left, ending up beside her. In a move almost as unexpected as doing nothing, he did one of her moves. He leapt up, trying to place one foot behind her knees, and the other on her stomach, in a takedown she had taught him.

There really wasn't much she could do at that point. The take down was meant to be a finishing move in a sparring match, and it pretty much did its job. Amnity groaned, having face defeat before she even started really fighting. "I never should have taught you that..."

Mephlius used his leg strength to keep her face down on the mat, putting his free hands behind his head in a very casual position. "Now don't you dare take the blame for this one. There were a number of takedowns I could have done from that position." He pulled his legs away, slid back a foot or so on the mat, and stood up. "Good fight."

Amnity groaned again. She lifted her head up, placing her elbow up on the matted floor and resting her chin in her hands. "Yeah...Nice fight." She frowned, thinking of different ways she could have won the fight, ideas she would have liked to have a few minutes ago. Gruffly, she fixed herself into a sitting position, then stood up.

Mephlius nodded. "I think that pretty thoroughly puts us on the violence side of the scale... which is good, considering..." As if on cue, Mephlius' phone rang out. He opened it. "Hi, Mom!" There was a reply. "Sorry, sorry. It wasn't-" He was cut off by a frantic reply. "No no, of course! Look... there's still plenty of time, and I've been busy with plans." He smiled. "Yeah, yeah. Anyway... you know when to be here?" After a short confident reply, Mephlius responded. "Alright. See you then." He hung up.
