"Hi," she said, accepting his hand. "I'm Lynea. Lynea Morgenson, that is." Shaking his hand, she flashed him a grin and let go. "Nice to meet you too. I just kind of got here."

Lynea looked around the entrance, staring at the mammoth doors. They were decorated like lavish Russian Easter eggs. "So, I was wondering," she paused, hesitant to ask, "Does everyone here have so-called 'arts' or whatever, or just most? I asked before, but the pamphlet is short and doesn't tell you anything except how to donate, and the website's address."

It really was worth a chortle or two- Photoshopped, eye-popping pamphlets and posters hung outside by Lilith's table, advertising Ria like some sort of popular videogame or anime. Funny. For some reason it reminded her of parent-teacher days at her old highschool.

"And what kind do you have, if you don't mind my asking? Not to be blunt or anything, of course!"

And there she was, being a hypocrite again. You certainly could not call her a master of subtlety.

"Nice to meet you. I've been here for about a month now."

He flashed his own grin back at her as he removed his sunglasses. Stuffing them into his pocket he looked aorund lightly. His blue eyes came in contact with the sunlight as he began to have his eyes winced. Having the sunglasses over his eyes for so long caused his eyes to not be okay with the sunlight poundign down on them.

He quietly listened to her questions as he tried to figure out how to answer them all. He thought quietly about his own powers. How would he describe them? He then heard her mention the pamphlet.Rememebring it very well, it helped him very little when he first came too.

"Arts can rnage from physical attack styles, to weapon amstery, to magics, to so many possible other things. Some have supernatural powers, well actually, the majority of us do, but others don't"

He sighed as his brow tilted.

"My arts are well complicated. One is a form of prayers that can cause many different things, many of which I have no idea what to they do at the moment," he laughed lightly at his own comment. "and the other allows me to mix fire mastery and holy mastery together to release blessed flames. That power is kinda dangerous"

He looked at her with a smile.

"So, what can you do?"

She listened to him with the overattentive, smiling willingness of a kindergartner.

When he was done, the expression on her face was a wide-eyed kind of surprise at all the information she had just taken in voluntarily-without rolling her eyes or being bored. Lynea was sure it must have been some kind of record for her. She'd mark it in her datebook later.

"I see." she said, "So that's what it's all about. To tell the truth, I haven't researched much about Ria. It was kind of a do-or-die shotgun thing." A nervous laugh followed- a crossmock of halbaked apology and punctuation.

"You asked about what I can do?" Lynea said, "Bone manipulation. I can extend my limbs outside of me to their fullest limits- manipulate my body in ways that would probably make a Yoga master weep." She laughed after this- but it was not tainted with nervousness or false courtesy- it was a real, honest to God laugh- a healthy laugh. The kind of laugh you barely hear anymore.

Thanks a lot, Fox.

"It's pretty sick. Wanna see?" Her voice had taken on the tone of a schoolkid eager to show off his new eraser set.

Ria appeared at the gates, she thought it strange that she would have the same name as the school, "Aren't there any teachers here?" she asked outloud. A frying pan, and a boat oar were attached to her back by a rope. She also had a mickorophone in her hand. "Anyone around?" she asked. It was very strange that she would come to a school, considering she wasn't from earth, but then she didn't know where exactly she was from. Perhaps it was amnesia, or maybe she forgot on pourpose, but she hoped that she would remember soon. (Sorr it's short but i gtg.)

Malla approached the school gates the same way she would any new place: shoulders swinging, legs clomping, an awkward slinking tomboy walk.
By the time she got to Lilith, she had produced a stack of paperwork high enough to shame any decent-sized wedding cake.

She glanced down at the sea of sheets below her with doubting eyes, looked up, and scanned the hot tile walkway, hoping to find something that might help. She noticed a rosy girl talking to a man with sunglasses. Her hands looked so bare, so free of papers. Maybe she would know what to do.

Malla jogged up to her and asked, "Hello. Can you write for me? I can't do the thing over there." She finished by pointing at the stalagmite of paper she had left behind her.

Fuji took his time as he walked past the school with the same smile on his face that he always had since he was little. He wore a white shirt that wasnt buttoned up all the way and had it's sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a tie that wasnt tightened up but was loosened and black pants. He carried a small bag with his left hand and his right hand was slipped in his pocket. He smiled to everyone he walked by but didnt say anything though, he was always easy going, happy, patient and calm but he hardly ever spoke. That innocent smile hardly left his face too except for when his friends and family are hurt, picked on or anything like that never anything to do with himself. If you are picking on someone Fuji is close too you need to be careful... because he you might be the one to get hurt.

Once when he was just a little kid, maybe 7 and still in grade school his younger brother was getting beaten up badly by some midle school students trying to steal his money. Once young Fuji saw this he ran in front of his hurt brother, arms spread apart protecting him. It was the first time one had ever seen him stop smiling but frown. The middle schoolers just laughed at him and tried to push him away but instead he pushed the leader of the group down and punched him in the face until he was knocked out, refusing to let go until then as he was getting kicked and punched by the others, his little brother just watched in pain. He didnt feel good about it as he watched the middle schoolers walk away in fear. Instead he wanted to help but decided it was best not to. He walked over to his little brother, his hand glowed a soft blue and white colour as he brought it over his wounds and then his own. He then wiped the blood from his mouth and was as good as new. But a good thing to do is not upset Fuji.

Other than that, whenever he smiled there was bound to be a school girl fainting somewhere in the hall. In previous schools he even had fan clubs but would be glad if he didnt in this school. His eyes were always 'closed' but when they opened they revieled sharp, unearthy shade of blue eyes, but that didnt happen very often.

"Aw, man. Grandma was right. Now my hair is beginning to grow longer and change color!" Corrin Ayima exclaimed, noticing that her hair now reached past her shoulder blades, and it was turning to a much lighter blue. Not to mention she thought she had grown a few inches taller. The older teen sighed softly and rested her chin in the palm of her hand as she sat on the ground, staring at all the newer arrivals.

"Just how many students can this damned school hold, huh? It's like twelve newbies every twelve seconds," Cor muttered, rolling her eyes as she watched the programmed robots journey to every new student, asking for the letter. "Y'know... I bet they can get pretty annoying," She told herself, watching one from a distance with a glare. It was a bit strange. Her first new friend had already been kicked out of the school. Now, once again, she had no one.

"I still say this was a bad idea."

"No, seriously, it's pretty cool. I'm kind of...double-jointed everywhere, actually, and-"

What?

Lynea tore herself from she and Rai's previous conversation, to find a...

Wait a minute.

Girl? Animal?

She looked as if she'd bridged the difference.

Then again, with Ria you never knew what quite to expect. Catgirls, vampires, ghosts, sexy androids, angels and demonds- not to mention drama up the yingyang. That said, Lynea thought she'd enjoy her stay her fully. Who doesn't want a chance to act out a real-life anime? A real-life highschool soap opera comedy?

Turning around, she looked up at the wild dog-girl. She looked like the dusty leader of the hunter's packs, screaming through African savannas. The child of a thousand animals- it made her think vaguely of The Jungle Book. It had been one of the only "worthwhile" things she had done in years; playing Mowgli. Go figure.

"Hi." Lynea said. She was battling with an insane urge to scream 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight.' "...You mean those papers? Sure, but you need to tell me what to write since I'm...uh...not you."

A-weem-a-way, a-weem-a-way, a-weem-a-way...

Rai was about to answer when he saw Lynea turn around and face somone.

Not your average someone.

A strange girl, jungle-like almost, a female tarzan in her own way.

Rai looked to her then the, well, jungle girl and smiled. He then looked up and saw the sun setting. He hadn't realised how late it had gotten.

"Maybe another time. I need to go somewhere. Stop by the church anytime. That's where I'm staying. It's been a pleasure Lynea"

Rai bowed to her and began to walk of. A couple of yards away he stopped randomly. He turned around and shouted to Lynea.

"Next time we meet I'm expecting a cool bone manipulation!"

And with that Rai ran off. Throwing on his sunglasses again though the sun was setting. His white clothes stood out as he ran down the path. Taking a right and dissappearing behind some trees.

Ugh, so hungry, I should stop and eat first

Ginseku walked through the front doors to Ria high, sitting down at the steps. He observed the new students quietly. Noting what they did, how they acted, everything. He wondered if any of them were like his old friends. He leaned back. Soaking up the sun.

Corrin examined her nails, glad that at least something about her was normal, though they still weren't 4 inches. They were sharp enough to cut her hair, though. She took her hair and pulled it behind her, holding her hair as if she were about to put it up in a ponytail. She then took her left hand and sliced off a few inches. She quickly took a hand mirror from her messenger bag and looked at her face.

"Great. It's still lighter. Oh well. At least it looks better," She murmured softly, stuffing the mirror back in the bag as she began picking up the fallen hair.

May Lyyn slowly walks to the android Lillith, And gives her her acceptance letter. "Thank you, Here is your I.D card" Lillith said as May was walking towards the doors of the school, May heard all of these noises in the halls of the school, but payed no attention, she was just wondering what room to go to. You can tell May was nervous when she starts playing around with her hair. I hope I know where I'm going she thought while walking around in the hallway hoping it would lead to somewhere.....

Fuji-kun walked into the large building and continued to look around. "Hmmm... this looks like a nice place..." He said to himself as he kept his same happy expression on his face walked through the hallways. He looked at the different races there and smiled as he walked by. So many different kinds of beings. Most would think of the school as a place in a story book but it wasnt. He then walked by a few people that were showing off their powers to some of their friends. He sometimes wished he had different abilities but then he was glad he was able to heal any kind of wound, physical and mental. One time he cured a man who was shot to a near death state and was going to die any second and made it seem like nothing had happened at all. For when Fuji healed anyone the pain would go away nomatter how extreme it was and the evidence the wound was even there would disappear. He had come to the school to practise his abilities and maybe he would be able to do more with them. His power was quite helpful already though, not only for others but for himself too. He continued to walk through the halls but now with a slightly confused expression, wondering what to do with his things.

He was right. It was late. Lynea looked up, and saw the sky subdued with the pastel violets of a late sunset. It was clean, clear- not clouded with the smog and snorts of pollution like the city.

Whatever feelings of homesickness she might have had disappeared that instant. Her only regret leaving home was that she had not had the courage to hug her mother before she left- to kiss her. Their goodbye was a simple, "I love you" and a jar of neon sugar gumdrops. But maybe that way was all for the better.

"See you, Rai!" she said, waving goodnight. "I'll be sure to stop by sometime, and I'll be damned if I don't gross you out when I see you next, okay?" The feelings of awkwardness were muted by the prospect of new friends. She liked Rai- he had a nice smile.

Lynea watched her friend disappear into the dark sillhouettes of the trees, lit by the dim lavender glow of the sun that set over Ria Highschool.

Speaking of friends...

"So, what's your name?" Lynea pointed to the dotted line on the paperwork, looking at the Tarzan girl.

She still wanted to burst out singing "Can you feel the love tonight?" but the threat of being bitten repressed that desire efficiently. Am I immunized against rabies? she thought fretfully. The way the girl sniffed around the air was funny. "And your age, and all this really boring crap. See?"

Perhaps she could make a new friend here, too. She seemed nice enough- so did that bubble butt of hers.

Malla smiled- it was something she had worked on, that smile, until it had been far better than a baring of teeth. And now she would get to share it with someone.

Now, that someone...What was that girl floating in? She bobbed in an ocean of lace and frills, and Malla could not help but wonder why somebody would walk with a miniature pair of stilts on their feet. She almost wanted to giggle at the way she had huffed over with her steps clacking to her mound.

The possibilities began to almost overwhelm her, but she managed to say, "Malla Shephard. What is yours?"
