Jove did give Tybalt a funny look. Or at least it would have been if the pup wasn't wearing his saddest puppy eyes ever. But... Tybalt just made an emblem appear out of nowhere!

A spark of hope appeared in the little pup's eyes, and he put one paw out in front of him, and concentrated. Nothing. He blinked sadly up at Tybalt, and then at Seiji. He couldn't summon a pin too, could he? Was the black dog just mistaken? He tried again, desperately wanting his mushroom-adorned pin to appear in his paw the way Tybalt had suddenly summoned his own. But it wasn't forthcoming. The pup coughed sadly, feeling a tickle in his throat... And then coughed again, and on the third cough his emblem fell out of his mouth.

For the first time since the battle, Jove's ears gave a half perk, and he scooped up the pin to deposit it next to Red's skull with all the others. It was so hard... Was there a puppy out there who was good at saying goodbye?



When he was finally able to tear himself away from the memorial that was taking shape in front of them, he trotted back to the piece of back plate and his little medal and flopped right back on top of them. He didn't want to go home, everything there was too normal. How could he reconcile that with what he had seen here?

Calder watched as both Christof and Barth gave their pin to Red's grave, and to his surprise, saw them both exchange their pins. It was about damn time! Calder had been wondering what this exchange hadn't happened a year ago, and at least felt glad they were doing so now. They were already second years and had gone through enough bad experiences together. If they couldn't exchange their pins now, he didn't know when they would!

When the exchange was made, all he could do was offer a small clap in congratulations of this moment and then turned in time to see Freya and Herryk. "Hey you guys! We're heading out."

LW snorted at her canine friend, patting his shoulder. "It's a boot. You'll get over it at some point." She eyed the remaining boot and, alright she was doing her best to not look at the huge remains near them or glance around for others. It was unsettling and painful to look at the former, upsetting looking around for the latter. She knew the others had to be alright. They had to be...

Her shoulders drooped at Tybalt's words. He was probably right. If they would be anywhere, it was most likely back home. Waiting. A spark of hope ignited in her and the she-wolf found she really wanted to go home now.

"You're right. We should go..." LW trailed off as she was tugged along after Tybalt. "What...?" But then she saw what had caught his attention. "Jove!" Oh thank Jack the puppy was alright! Err, well. He was there and not bleeding. That was good enough. "Hey, pup." She said quietly, standing behind Tybalt while he crouched down and showed Jove how to summon his emblem. LW looked from Tybalt to Jove as the little wisp tried to do the same. And he succeeded!

The she-wolf watched as he went and added his emblem to the memorial forming. She smiled, a small thing that lacked most of her usual spunk when the pup returned, though it faded quickly when he made a tiny keening noise after Demi's arrival. It almost did her in as she felt the same and involuntarily, she found a hand curling in the fabric of Tybalt's hoodie. She tried to give Demi a relieved smile that the hound was alright and there as well.

"Let's go back home." She said softly, not wanting to be there any longer. But she wasn't leaving by herself. That was asking too much right now.

Demi would have thought the fellow canine might have gotten pulled out of his grief even for a moment, if anything it felt like he went further into it. The hell hounds ears fell flat and so did his body as he sat on the ground right next to the foxfire, there wasn't thing that needed to be said, just companionship during rough times.

It might have been tough on himself, But Jove was taking it a lot worse. Even so, he had to put on a brave face for LW when she came up to check on Jove and smile for the both of them. "Nice to see your OK too LW, how'd your group fare?" he asked politely, they never got to talk much and it would feel odd being so informal around the fellow Canine, even so he did wave at the dark ghost dog missing a boot that was near her.

Freya nodded to Mort, leaving him to it, and caught the movement of Christof's wave out of the corner of her eye. She heard Calder's voice a moment later, and her smile stretched across her face as she saw them all together. Dragging Herryk by the arm, she practically ran to them, wrapping her arms around all three of them as best as she could and hugging them tightly.

"My herd!" She screeched, burying her face into the group. "I missed yeh!"

Xiu's gaze briefly flickered past the ghouls, and she belatedly--oh, Xiu--realized that a familiar reaper had been standing by Amrita. Roch! Unfortunately, he had gone off in search of his other teammate, but that was okay. He was safe--they were all safe--and hugs and reunions could come later.

Preferably when she didn't feel like she was going to pass out.

The ghoul did reach out to give both Remi and Raziel hugs though, smiling as she emitted a weak laugh. "Team Mafia survived," She whispered, raising her hand to her head, "Though I've lost my hat. What a pity."

It looked like they were going to leave now, and Xiu was more than ready to go. She took a step forward to follow after Amrita, but paused to look back to where Vaith was, gesturing towards the door to indicate that they were planning on leaving. Did he want to come along, or did he want to stay here a little longer?

Willow watched as the piece of skull she'd been working slowly started to fall and when she caught it on her paw, it turned to dust. The tiger's ears fell she looked a bit saddened by the fact she'd let that happen.

She summoned her pin however and moved to sit it with the rest of them, even if she couldn't take something back, she could at least leave something for red.

The tiger looked around before moving to try again with the skull, now that she knew it came apart. She glanced back at her team members who were all busy, she was glad they were at least okay as she moved away slightly to start digging at another piece, hoping she wouldn't ruin this one. Alas it crumpled to dust too...
