Not far from where the gathered group was, was a large forest in the middle of the plains. And in that forest, was Eirika. Not long before a woman with her child came up to her in Marvel City, after she took note of her attire and the weapon at her hip,she figured she might be able to help take care of a problem. So she asked if Eirika could do what many of the guards were failing to do, and go to the near by forest to put an end to a endless cycle of monsters that seemed to be creeping into the city unnoticed. They were small, as the woman described, and for someone as skilled as Eirika, they would be no problem. If she could help keep the city safe she would do her best. Turning down a kind woman with her little girl was unthinkable, even for one who didn't like fighting. They were monsters, not human, so it made it all that much easier to accept her plea. Eirika had fought for nearly two hours, covering the entire forest to the point that nothing else was coming out to attack her. Did she clean out the creatures? It seemed so, but who knew, really. Maybe they realized coming out and attacking would end in their death, so until she left, they would remain hidden. As she stepped out of the forest, she re-sheathed Sieglinde while turning to the direction of Marvel. ...Only to turn back suddenly, her attention suddenly on the group that small distance away. She felt her heart skip a beat, and her whole form just kind of froze in a moment of shock! Was this the affects of exhaustion? She was seeing things! Though she wasn't really exhausted, maybe one of those monsters put a spell on her? "...Lyon..? " She began to quicken her pace now. Innes was there, too..but, Lyon?! Before she knew it, she was running to them. And it wasn't long before she would be there, standing..right in front of Lyon. "Is such a thing...possible? ..Lyon?? " She slowly reached her hand out, and he would feel the gentle touch of her hand to his cheek, she needed to feel that..he was real. He may notice her eyes were not filled with hate or anger, instead, they were instead glistening with tears. "Lyon.....I..." Lowering her hand, he would feel himself suddenly embraced into the tightest hug he may ever of received from Eirika. She didn't want to let go, and would hold him for a long moment, her hold becoming more gentle as the moment went on. "I'm so sorry, Lyon.." It was obvious she didn't hold anything against him of the past, but she did seem to hold the guilt of what ended his life far to early. Even if it was to save him, his death had never completely left her mind. How could it? No matter what he had done, he was her child hood friend..and she would love him no matter what.

Lyon "I’ve sacrificed the lives of many good people. I’ve committed many unforgivable sins. The caring heart that I once possessed died long ago…" "There is no forgiveness for what I've done." Lyon said with a small shake of his head. "If you understood, you'd agree...""There is no changing for someone like him! The Demon King could still lay claim to his heart as we speak." Innes sighed in frustration. "You remind me far too much of my sister. Idealists! But the battlefield is no place for idealism. To hope for reconciliation in this situation is foolish and nothing more." Innes was known for being rather harsh, and now was no exception it seemed. Hearing a familiar voice caused him to let out a slight gasp. "Eirika! Stop!" He drew another bow, docking it. She was far too trusting. What else was new? "Eirika, we don't know if the Demon King-!" Poor Innes was just trying to help, but it didn't seem like much was getting through. "..." Lyon looked at the blue-haired princess as she approached. He had a similar look in his eyes that he used to--before everything--but there was also a look of... despair in them. "Don't-..." He let out softly as he felt her hand against his face. "..." He felt the tears coming. In spite of everything--even after everything he had done--she didn't shun him. Of course she didn't. This was Eirika. "...." He sniffed, tears rolling down his cheeks. "E-Eirika..." He was surprised he could still cry. He thought he had become nothing but a monster. And yet he still felt this emotion.... "S-sorry..." He said. "I guess it isn't very manly to be... crying like this." Not that he was exactly manly. He never really had been. That was part of his problems, back in simpler times... "......." He didn't return her hug, though he didn't pull away either. He didn't deserve something like this. How could she be so open and accepting...? "D-don't apologize, I..." He brought up a a hand, wiping his face. "I-I caused so much pain... so much suffering... for nothing... Your father is dead because of me. Renais was almost destroyed because of me. I even tried to kill you and Ephraim..." He sniffed. "My best friends... The two I loved... so much..." He paused. "I-""Well, well!" The flapping of massive wings could be heard, followed by a thud, as a familiar face to many gathered landed. Valter, the Moonstone. One of Grado's six generals. The one known for being ruthless and horrible. He had been here a while, in this world. And he had been watching the scene until now... "Finally, my prey arrives." He licked his lips at Eirika. "The lovely princess of Renais... where's that brother of yours? He's the greatest prey I could ever hope for. Maybe he'll show up when I have my way with his sister." Whether he meant that in the way it sounded or not would have to remain a mystery. He drew a Killer Lance. "Come and kneel, little princess. You must look so much better-""Valter." Lyon turned to face the Wyvern Knight, twitching a bit. "S t o p . . ." He said slowly, eerily. The way his voice said that sounded... familiar..."Mm? My apologies, Prince Lyon. Your father's orders clearly were to capture Prince Ephraim and Princess Eirika. I'm only doing as I'm told.""My father is dead... he has been since before you were made a General..." Lyon gritted his teeth, his grip on is tome tightening. He seemed to be struggling with something. "Please, just... stop... I don't want to...""Grado has been destroyed, hasn't it...? It seems my days of taking orders are ended with it." He readied himself for combat. "Now, if you don't move, I'll have your head on a-""YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME, WHELP." Lyon's voice boomed out. In the next moment, his tome was drawn fully. "Or you will DIE." And he wasted no time. He raised his arm, the darkness of Naglfar being made apparent as the darkness covered the area. The suffocating emptiness of the magic could be felt as the intense dark magic shredded through the crisp winter air, and soon, a jolt of intense darkness struck Valter as the spell connected. With a gasp, the Wyvern Knight collapsed to the ground, his wyvern and himself apparently dead. "......." Lyon let out a whimper, stepping back. "I-I..." He shook his head. "I didn't want to...!" He gasped. "I can still hear his echoes in my mind...!" He clutched his head. Innes stepped forward, placing himself in front of Eirika protectively. "I feel like I... c-can't control myself forever... he's still there...! Fomortiis is still in my mind... I..." Was he? It was hard to say for certain."If you truly care for Eirika, you must allow me to end your life. It's the only way to ensure her safety." Innes said seriously. "While you can still control yourself..."The galloping of a horse could be heard, as Ephraim arrived on the scene. Just too late to deal with Valter personally, it seemed. "Lyon!!" The horse stopped with a whinnie, and Ephraim dismounted quickly. "Eirika!" He took several steps forward, his spear in hand. "What in the world is happening here?!" He noticed Valter's corpse. Good riddance. Again."Ephraim...! Kill me! Like you did before!" Lyon screamed. "I don't... I can't control myself!""What? No! Get control of yourself!" Lyon was hyperventilating. Ephraim stepped forward, putting an arm around him and pulling him close into a hug. "Lyon... I don't want to lose you again." Lyon's sporadic breathing seemed to start to calm down, slowly but surely. "I don't know how you've managed to come back to us, but this time I intend to save you. I'm sorry that I couldn't see what you were going through, back then... due in no small part to me..."What is it with you two..." Lyon sniffed. "You and Eirika both apologizing to me... after everything I had done...""You began with good intentions. And the demon king contorted your mind to suit his needs. You may hold some of the blame, but taking all of it isn't right. You're our friend, Lyon. No matter what, that's never changed.""I-I..." Ephraim... and Eirika... "I don't know if there's a way for me to be... saved... I don't know if I even deserve it. I've caused so much suffering... I don't deserve to be alive...""Don't worry about that right now, Lyon. We'll figure it out together. What are friends for?""..." Lyon was going to cry a lot today, perhaps. (( OOC: ))

Alice wouldn't be given much more chances to speak against Innes, as Eirika had shown up so suddenly. Innes's warnings went unheeded as she got close to Lyon, not that she wanted to ignore him, but...right now, she wasn't interested in his negativity. She held onto hope, within the moment she saw Lyon there and she wasn't going to give that up. As her hand rested against his face, and she saw the tears in his own eyes..Eirika began to smile. Could a heartless killer hold such an emotion? No. Most certainly not. This just proved to her that standing before her, was truly the Lyon she knew. At least, through his despair and guilt, it was him. "Our emotions are not a weakness, and most certainly aren't something to be ashamed of. It only proves you are a man with a kind heart. " It was as if she was trying to hint at Innes, that he was no monster that everyone made him out to be. "It also proves to me that you are..You. Lyon..My dear friend. " Even if he didn't believe it himself, she would believe it, no matter what. After a long, long moment, Eirika would finally release the hug she held him in. "...Please, find it in your self to forgive your actions. Everything you did was done with good intentions, was it not? But those good intentions were corrupted by the demon king. There is no other way to see it, and it is him I hold responsible for everything. I could never blame you, Lyon. " She moved her hand, to place over his own as she looked into his pained eyes. "You were and always will be loved by us. Don't you know that nothing could ever-" .....And the sound of an unwelcome voice stopped her words short. There would always be someone to spoil a happy moment, wouldn't there? Turning to Valter, her once gentle eyes narrowed slightly. "You do not know what you are saying. If my brother was here, you would become the prey. " And ended quickly, too. As he ordered her to kneel, her response was the blade of Sieglinde glistening in the sun. But she would not have to fight, as she thought. Lyon confronted the Wyvern Knight, instead. Eirika seemed far more concerned for Lyon, however, as she noticed his struggling. It wasn't long before his struggling to control himself would end with Valter's swift death. "Lyon.! " She rushed to him as he stepped back, in a terrible anxiety attack, only to find herself blocked from his path as Innes again, moved in front of her to protect her. "Innes, don't!" He clearly wasn't going to keep her away, as she slipped right past him again, and now stood herself in a protective form in front of Lyon! "Innes! I will not allow you to harm him. If you wish so badly to harm Lyon, then you will have to get through me. " Which she knew would never be attempted, Innes would never put her in danger. And that's when the galloping of a horse's hooves were heard, as Ephraim arrived. Thank goodness for that, if she couldn't convince Innes to see what she saw in Lyon, then he would. Or at the very least, make him stop with the attempts to kill him. "........" It was..all up to Ephraim now. Part of her wished she could have been the one to help him through his worries, and help him see he did have a chance to live a happier life, with them. But, that would be her brother's job it seemed. One of his many gifts, a gift of kindness that was bound to get through to Lyon more so then anyone else could. Stepping toward them slowly, Eirika would suddenly put her arms out and around the two, grabbing them into a hug. "This..is the start of a new life for you, Lyon..and it starts with all of us together again! " She couldn't not hug him again! She never really wanted to let him go earlier.

Lyon "Ephraim... Eirika... I've always loved you..." "...Haha..." Lyon couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "That's such an Eirika thing to say..." He said playfully, sniffing. It was wonderful to know that, despite everything that had happened, she was still the same... "Still me... I don't think that's true." He said. "...At least, I'm not the same person I was before the war started. I've done too many terrible things... I can never be that person again." The idealistic prince with a love for peace and a caring heart... he had hurt too many people. Caused too much suffering to ever be seen that way again. "..." Lyon shook his head. "What's more important, the action or the intention? Even if I had the best intentions ever, it doesn't change what I've done. And the Demon King can't be held accountable for everything. It was I who first reached out to his soul in hopes of obtaining the power to save my country. Everything that happened happened because I was weak." Everything that happened next happened fairly quickly, leading to Ephraim's arrival. To be hugged by Ephraim and Eirika again... he never thought he would feel this warmth again. He didn't deserve this..."I'm glad you're here, Lyon. You're just in time for my wedding." He gave his friend a smile."Wedding?" Lyon blinked. "It's hard to imagine you were able to court someone successfully." He said, halfheartedly being playful."Oh, aren't you funny," Ephraim responded, amused. "Indeed I was. And she's quite beautiful, I must say." He was attempting to take his mind off everything, it seemed. At least, for now. Once he was calmed down, they could talk through it... "I should introduce you to her. ...And my children.""Children..." Lyon glanced at Alistair. "...Ah... I'm sorry..." He said with a small bow."Not to worry! I'm only happy the light of-!""Stop with this foolhardy celebration!" Innes cut in. Gods, was he always going to have to be the one with reason around here? He was looking increasingly rude as time went on, he was aware, but... he had to do what he thought was right. "Ephraim! I expected this naivety from Eirika, but you? After everything that's happened? You intend to just trust this man back into your life? Think about what he's done! He killed your father! He almost reduced Renais to ruin! And now you're ready to just pretend like nothing happened? I thought you more sensible than that. I told you before, you both allowed Grado the chance to strike. That's what allowed them to capture Renais. And now your faulty idealism will allow the same events to transpire once more. This time, however, Princess Azura and your children could be the ones caught in the crossfire. Will you so willingly forgive him when he's murdered all of your family? And Eirika as well?" He docked his bow again. "You may be willing to let this pass, but I cannot. I must ensure Eirika's safety. And the safety of the people. The Demon King could still be inside him. He could be using him as a puppet like he did before, all to get close to you and betray you. Are you willing to run that risk?""..." Ephraim stared down the Archer prince. "I am." He said simply. "I cannot say whether or not the Demon King still resides in his heart, but I can say that the man here with us is Lyon." He could tell. The Demon King's mockeries of trying to pretend to be him didn't get past Ephraim."...Well, I am unwilling to take that risk. Stand aside!""That's not happening.""Then I will move you by force." He grunted. "This is for your own good. And Eirika's. You won't thank me later, but you'll all be alive." He raised his bow."If you challenge me, Innes, you'll regret it. Once upon a time we were equals, but now?" Ephraim knew it. Innes had no chance. Ephraim was so far out of his league in combat."We'll see." He let an arrow fly.....And in the next moment, it was cut in half. "...." A certain someone had been close to the scene for at least the last few moments, it seemed."Seth! It's good to see you alright." It was odd that he had been here so long, and only now it seemed that there were so many from his world coming to this one. ....He wondered if that should concern him or not."...Prince Innes, stand down." He said sternly. "I do not wish to engage you, but the safety of King Ephraim and Princess Eirika are my primary concerns.""Ngh." Innes took a step back. "Somehow I'm made out to be the villain... While you're protecting the man who destroyed almost all the Sacred Stones." He knew better than to think he could take Seth and Ephraim at once, however. He couldn't handle Ephraim alone in a close-range battle."..." He turned to face Ephraim and Eirika. "I am gladdened to see you both unharmed." He said to the two. "...I wish we had time to speak further, but... forgive me, I must speak. I agree with Prince Innes. Prince Lyon is the direct cause of the tragedies that befell Renais. He tried to kill both of you during the war several times. He cannot be trusted. I believe you are letting history and emotions cloud your judgement.""...Seth, I know you mean well. I appreciate your words on the matter. However, my mind is made up. I am your king, and you will accept my decision.""..." Seth nodded. "Of course, my king. I apologize for my speaking out of turn.""Don't. I always value your opinions on these sorts of issues, and I know you always mean well.""...." Lyon took a few steps back. "Ephraim... Eirika... thank you,. But I shouldn't stay here. They're both right. I can't be trusted. After everything I've done... and even I don't know if I still have the Demon King in my head. I can't stay. I can't cause conflict. I've already done that enough..." (( OOC: ))

Unseen by the growing number here, was a curious teenage goddess, everyone's favorite spoiled Cosmos. "Hmm, this is getting so interesting...A story one could write into a sob inducing play.." She thought to herself, grinning. "But at the same time, I find myself wanting to cuddle-cuddle pretty purple-hair boy....but, that grey-haired man is quite appealing too. Oh, what is a girl to do with such great choices?!" As if she was to hook up with one of them! Yeah, right! Oblivious to the young goddess's presence, Eirika shook her head softly. "Things may have changed, but in time, I believe you will feel your heart has lightened some. And, even if it does not, and you never go back to those times...I would still love you, both of us. " He didn't have to be the person they grew up with, he could just be himself, no matter the faults. Nothing would change her love she had for her best friend. "Oh,goodness. I might tear up..." Cosmos said to herself, wiping at her eyes! She was so rude sometimes. Taking such a serious matter, a terribly emotional one, and making it out to be some sort of drama! She clearly lacked respect for others, she was far to past that spoiled, power-hungry loving girl to ever be serious and take other's troubles seriously. Then, it was Innes, that brooding, handsome fellow she eyed several times during this whole ordeal who decided that Eirika and Ephraim were wrong for trusting Lyon. Oh, it was getting better as the minutes rushed on.
She watched on, to see Eirika bravely stand in front of Lyon, should Innes get past Ephraim by some impossible chance, he would have to then get past her, which she knew he wouldn't strike. That's when another pulled off a even more surprising entrance. Wow! She didn't even detect him. But damn, he was handsome as ever, too. Why were these guys all so darn good looking? ..Then again most might ask the same thing about Serenitians. It was then when Lyon stepped back from them, that...he would feel himself bump...into someone. Someone warm, and soft... Obviously a person, and not a tree! "Hee,hee. Why, hello there..." Next, her arms would slip around his waist and he would find he couldn't move at all. "I don't think you should leave.. Two who want you with them forever, and two who don't want you with them..Let me add to this vote, too! I vote you should stay, so that makes..three! Three against the two who live to never forgive! " She would slowly move her arms from him, and step away. Eirika was pulled over to them next, which looked a little silly being pulled by an invisable force. She placed her behind Lyon.. "Now, you keep him from running away. " Innes now, would feel the same thing Lyon had just felt, with arms around him suddenly. "Now, cutie..You should learn to forgive,mm? We all make mistakes...well, okay, not ME, but all of you and humankind make many mistakes, you've also killed in battles, how many people have you killed? Do you have a right to judge him? You should be a good boy and listen to the most a-m-a-z-i-n-g king in this world today..Right, Ephie-poo? " She gave the king a little wink. Again, she would teleport to her next 'victim'. Seth! With arms around the shining knight, she grinned. "I can't say to much to you, you seem to have fallen into place quickly, the kings orders are absolute, hmm? So, you know.. My sister would soooo loove you. She's a little crazy with you knights in shining armor types.." She really was a meanie, as if she had any problem with Ein! After a moment, she would let him go, and teleport to the middle of them all.. "So, an important note. The two non-believers might be happy to know that there is no 'demon king' in him. I can feel and see the presence of another in anyone and anything. Your demon king is far below me, a puny insect compared to my power. So, you can stop trying to kill him now. Attempts to do so might not end well in your favor.." She said that part to Innes the most!

Innes"Surrender? I am Prince Innes of Frelia. I don't know the meaning of the word." "....?" Innes's head shot to the side, directly to where Cosmos was watching from. She might be able to avoid detection if she was well-hidden, though. Is someone watching us...? He couldn't seem to shake that feeling. Innes was a sharp one--it was hard to get anything past him. "Ngh?!" Soon after, the sudden guest was behind him, with arms around him. What in the world? He could feel... softness pressing into his back. "Gah! Unhand me!" He struggled a bit, forcing himself free and turning, his arrow still docked. "Who in the world do you think you are? I am Prince Innes of Frelia! You will mind your distance. This is your only warning." He didn't seem to appreciate this person's intrusion. "The ones I've killed threatened my homeland and its people. He killed unjustly. But frankly, I feel no need to justify myself to a commoner like yourself." As she announced that Lyon was apparently free as far as she could see, Innes grunted. "And who are you to make such a claim? For all we know you could be his pawn." His eyes narrowed. "And how would you know so much about the Demon King? You aren't from Magvel. Explain yourself. Swiftly." He ordered.Ephraim rolled his eyes. "Innes, can you go anywhere without being suspicious and impolite?""I demand an explanation." This girl was strikingly beautiful, he thought. But also suspicious. Of course, he didn't realize she was of a race who were commonly seen as strikingly beautiful, of which Azura was part."She's a special race, Innes. She can read minds and whatnot. She's likely seen something of our past by doing so.""Read minds?! That's preposterous!" Oh gods, she didn't know he thought she was beautiful did she?"...Yes, Innes. We come from a world where we gathered a group mostly comprised of teenagers to combat an evil with the power of enchanted weapons and stones given by the gods, but mind reading? That's too impossible to imagine.""...." Well, when he put it that way, he supposed mind reading was far from the strangest thing he had ever heard of... (( OOC: ))

"Hee,hee! Look how cute he is, he thinks he's being intimidating! " Cosmos reached out her hand, and pat him on the head mockingly. His arrow would lock in place, so that had he tried to shoot at her with it, he would realize he couldn't even move it for the moment. "A commoner.." She began to laugh, a little more then might be considered normal, making her look not only goofy, but cartoon-villain-ish! "As of now, little prince, I don't think your rank applies in this world. Is your kingdom here? Mm, I don't thiiiink so! That makes you nothing to me, but if you still think of me as a commoner, you can go ask my mother and father, the Queen and King of the kingdom of Serenity. " She grinned. Which meant Cosmos was a princess, and far from that commoner he thought of her as! Even more so, she was considered a Goddess with similar power to Nero's, but not quite THAT powerful. "How is it I know so much, you ask? " She paused, only to roll her eyes at him. He was so pushy, Pushy! To her! It was quite irritating. Only she was allowed to irritate people, not the other way around! "I think i'll explain when I'm good and ready. " Turning to Ephraim now, her face kind of fell. He got only a small bit of that right. But still, it seemed he too was unaware of her power. "It seems my family isn't doing a good job at telling the world about me. It's as if they were ashamed!...no, jealous....that's right. Who wouldn't be jealous of me?!" It was no wonder her sisters were quiet about her! "Now, if you really want to know how I know so much. ..... " She turned to Eirika. "Do you want to tell them, or shall I? " She grinned. "I found myself in the most terrible state of boredom I've ever felt, and in my desperate attempt to relieve that boredom, I took a little walking tour of Marvel city. It is quite 'marvelous'. " She just had to throw that in. "And there I ran into Eirika, who seemed a little affected by the same tragic curse. " She grinned at her. "The elegant princess Eirika, struck by boredom. So there I decided if it was only us two, we might as well kill it together...so, we went.....Shopping! " Eirika's face was turning a hint of red. Why was she trying to embarrass her!? She told her to keep that quiet, people might of thought strangely of her to be caught doing such a normal thing. "We shopped for a few hours, and in the process of that shopping, I did a little memory searching to know a little more about her. " Invasion of privacy, much?! "Finally, as we took a break from shopping, we went to the forest area and simply talked. " Eirika had a new friend in this world, it seemed. The most unlikely friend ever! "While I found out a lot of the past involving all of you here by looking into her memories, I felt like discussing it instead. I was curious of the three people I kept seeing in her mind, one was you.." She pointed at Lyon. "The other was a blue-haired girl she seemed very close with. I learned her name was Tana, and was Eirika's best friend. The other was her father. Anyway, after she told me of all that happened in your world, I asked for her to better explain the Demon King. From that, I was able to slip a little deeper into those memories, and get a feel of what power this monster had, and just about everything I needed to know. So, that's why I can confidently say I don't detect any of his presence in Lyon. So for short, you, dearie, should chill out and give him his peace with the two that obviously care for him. "

Innes"Surrender? I am Prince Innes of Frelia. I don't know the meaning of the word." Innes swatted her hand away when she reached to pat him on the head. "Keep your hands to yourself, stranger," He said firmly. "It matters not whether Frelia exists in this foreign world. I am still its prince, and you will treat me as such." That's not exactly how it worked. "Serenity? What a ridiculous name." Of course. "I guarantee Frelia is a far more beautiful kingdom than this so-called "Serenity."""Not everything is a competition, Innes," Ephraim said with a small sigh."...Excuse me," Seth interjected, addressing Cosmos. "I just departed from the Kingdom of Serenity. You should know its prince--Kaden--was assaulted in an uprising that transpired there shortly ago. I was able to protect him, and he was recovering when I departed." He assumed this was her brother, since she was the princess. He deemed it only right to tell her."Doesn't sound like such a paradise to me," Innes said, halfway mockingly. "Perhaps if this father of yours was a better ruler, this wouldn't have happened." Innes was quite a nice guy. At her insistence that everyone should be jealous of her, Innes returned with a scoff. "Yes, a princess who parades around in her smallclothes is truly the one to envy." He said sarcastically. "I'm amazed you're allowed to dress in something so skimpy. I cannot fathom how father would react if Tana dared to step out in such a thing." He, as well, would react rather harshly."You certainly are fixated on her revealing outfit.""Ephraim, you are not helping." As she went on to explain her little story, Innes didn't interrupt as far as she went, until she eventually finished. "I feel so much better knowing you invaded Eirika's mind for these details." He said, once again sarcastically. "Frankly, nothing she explained or you saw could adequately describe the Demon King's power. I was there when he revived. I fought it alongside Ephraim and the others. I know firsthand. You do not," He said seriously. "Even if everything you were saying were true, it is illogical to assume the Demon King could not mask his presence from you. It's even further illogical to assume he may never enter this world. His soul was not destroyed, but sealed away in Rausten's Sacred Stone. His body is destroyed--if his soul were to come here, it would seek its original host.""That's a lot of "what ifs" to justify murder, Innes." Ephraim pointed out. "By that logic, it could come to this world and try to take over anyone. So we should simply kill all life." He was pointing out the absurdity by going to the most extreme example possible."It's been within Lyon already. It stands to reason it would have no trouble doing so again. It already shares some affinity with him--and with his weak mind and heart, it would have no trouble overtaking him again." He sighed. "If L'Arachel were here, she would certainly agree. Did she not explain to you in the past that once the Demon King overtakes a victim, it's impossible to save them? Do you believe miracles and fairy tale endings apply here?""What I see is a second chance, Innes. I've been in this world for years--I've seen firsthand many people who were dead or lost come back and live happy lives. I cannot say for certain whether they will remain forever, but what I CAN say is that they've been able to move on and be happy. Lyon deserves that chance too. The thing that led him to seeking the Demon King's help was caring too much. He wanted to save everyone.""Death was coming for us all..." Lyon said quietly. "I just wanted to save my people...""At the expense of the rest of the world?!" Innes was still so flabbergasted to see everyone taking Lyon's side over his own. "And in the end, it was irrelevant! The earthquakes you foresaw happened anyway! All you did was rob the world of King Fado, and countless unnamed lives that didn't have to die for a war of attrition!""I know..." Lyon responded, casting his gaze downward. "I will never atone for what I've done. I have no right to be alive..." He sighed softly. "But... if I just accept my death, nothing will have mattered. I have to do what I can... I must devote the rest of my days to seeking atonement. Something I'll never achieve, but... I will do all that I can to help everyone I am able. Nothing comes from being despondent.""....." Innes let out a heavy sigh. He DID seem sincere, but... "....I'll be keeping my eye on you," Innes put away his bow. "What Eirika wants is overall the most important. But if you show a single sign of being the way you were before--even a single step out of line--and I will not hesitate to bring your "second chance" to an abrupt end.""...Very well." Lyon couldn't ask for much else. And if the Demon King did still reside in him, and were able to take control again... it would be for the best for him to be killed. (( OOC: ))

"I will treat you with how I see you deserve, and right now I would say you deserve a slap in the face. And you call yourself a prince. Do all prince's talk so fowl and insult other good peaceful kingdoms? " Insulting Serenity's name really earned him a level up on her soon to be enemies list. As Seth began to speak, she turned to him. At least Ephraim and him were more pleasant to talk to! The news he spoke of though, wasn't exactly knew to her. "Thank you for telling me, though, I already knew this. I also know he's in the hands of the best healers in the kingdom, so he should be fine. I didn't know that you protected him, so thank you.." She paused, thinking a moment. "Is there anything you yourself require? Anything at all, I can make it happen! As my thanks for protecting my brother.." And then, came Innes's voice. She turned to him, her eyes glaring into his.
"Mmhmm. You know, it's never a good idea to insult my father. Bad things happen to people who do. And I think I just decided on your punishment. It would bother you so greatly, to see your dear sister wearing something so revealing. I'll be sure to meet her when she arrives here and show her a better class of style.." He wanted to annoy her? Well, good, She would annoy him too! But this wasn't really good enough, she would have to come up with something more,a bonus of punishment he didn't expect. Cosmos smirked proudly, well, that was at least something to get under his skin a bit, he didn't like her mind invading, more things to keep in mind. "If he managed to mask his presence from me, well, bravo to his ugly-self. I'll just put an end to him if he tries anything. And if I couldn't, there's plenty of powerful, skilled people and Serenitians in this world that will have no problem doing away with him. There are also Angels, and one in particular is very good about sensing unwanted things that try so hard to take over someone. She's also great at drawing them out. If I was you.." She turned to Lyon now.. "I would seek out Isabel. On second thought......I'll just bring her here.." Yes, she loved to take her friends from whatever they might of been doing and putting them in a confusing situation. Especially for Izzy, who was often confused about..well..many things! So, it wasn't long before that said ditsy angel appeared suddenly. Her face plastered in confusion, it was no doubt she was also alarmed by her sudden appearance in a whole new area.. until she saw Cosmos, anyway. "Hey, Izzy. Maybe you can put more ease to this irritating fools mind. He's hell bent on ending someone's life just because he's overly paranoid and thinks something of great evil may be lurking in Lyon here's soul. I don't sense anything myself, but maybe you will have a higher chance.. "
But before Isabel could say anything, in her confused state, Eirika cut in. "Innes..." Her tone of voice wasn't a happy one. "I understand your worry. I am also great full to your concerns, but I will not stand for this...I won't listen to you threaten Lyon anymore. " To anger Eirika this much was a rarity on it's own. "If you want to hold anyone responsible, should the worst happen. You can hold me responsible! I will watch over Lyon, and I will also protect him with my life. If you still choose to bring harm to him......You will have to go through me. I won't let you take him away! Do you understand? You -won't- touch him. "

Innes"Surrender? I am Prince Innes of Frelia. I don't know the meaning of the word." "It's simply an observation," Innes said. "Frelia is the most beautiful kingdom that exists. It is uncontested." It certainly could be very beautiful, especially during certain events."The only thing I wish is for our safe return to Renais," Seth said. "Though something tells me that is beyond your power." Or was it? Who knew. "I require nothing else substantial. I thank you for the offer nonetheless." He said with a small bow."My "dear sister" isn't here at present. And she's far more of a lady than you could ever understand. She wouldn't wear something so scantily." He should certainly hope so, at the very least. "The way you dress is a disgrace, frankly. You make other royals look bad by association." These two were going to be best of friends for certain. "You don't seem to grasp the level of threat he is. Though I'm sure there's many things you don't grasp." Burn? He raised an eyebrow as the blonde woman was warped there so suddenly. Natasha? No... but she certainly had a striking resemblance. He opened his mouth to speak, but then came Eirika's words... "I will do what I must should the situation arise, Eirika," He said seriously. "This isn't just for your safety. The Demon King poses a threat to us all. If nothing is done, he could get to my sister, and father..." His expression showed how serious this matter was to him. "So no, you will not stop me. If he is taken once more, I will kill him with my own hands if I must. I will protect my family and my people first and foremost. Your feelings must come after their safety." And that's just how it was. His mind wouldn't change on that. It was surprising enough that he had relented for now. He would like a result wherein Lyon was saved and everything was happy, but he was a realist. He knew such a happy ending was next to impossible. Yet still, he would relent. For now... (( OOC: ))

"Sure it is. You haven't seen Serenity, and in my opinion, nothing can ever come close to topping its kingdom. " But this was a argument that nether of them would win, each of them wanted to defend their own kingdoms, of course. It was only expected. As Seth answered her, a small blush appeared at her cheeks. Okay, she probably should have thought that through better. "..Ah,haha...y-yeah..If I was to attempt such a drastic move, it could really make things a lot worse. Sorry..um...well, what about GIL? You'll need that to buy food and live comfortably. I could supply that with no trouble at all. " She had a feeling he would deny that, though.. "Oh, you are speaking again.." She said coldly toward Innes, turning to him once more. "No, really? I didn't know that. I said, when she get's here, you stupid prince..." She was really getting annoyed with him. " Say what you will about my clothing. I think it's especially cute. But you, the brainless fool who only see's 'revealing' clothing as a bad thing, you will never understand. My family has no problem with the way I dress, because they aren't so closed minded like yourself. " "Hmm..Are you trying to tempt me into causing you a great form of embarrassment? Right here in front of your friends? Remember, it only takes a thought of what I want, and it will happen. " ".....? ..." Isabel looked from Cosmos, to the gray haired one, even she could feel the tension between the two. He had something about him that was all to familiar, his cold serious attitude was...so much like Roy's. "..You shouldn't look at him like that, Izzy..He's far worse then Roy's brooding, rude attitude...Or , perhaps...does the innocent little Angel like mean, rude guys? " She grinned. Poor Izzy. Her face instantly lit up red, and there was no stopping it! "You-are-blushing! .....But still, I don't think you should go falling in love with this one. He's a total idiot, and the most irritating fool I've ever come across. " "...S-Stop saying such ....indecent..things! I would never look at another man...like...that..! " She sure was blushing, though, wasn't she? She quickly turned away, going hurriedly over to Lyon now. "Is...is it alright? You needed to see that nothing is trying to hide in you? " Such a Izzy way to say that, it sounded so silly, and kind of cute, too..

Among one of the many forest's of the world, one of those forest's held a young girl in a world of terror. It didn't help that this forest was probably one of the largest of the world, and very easy to get lost in. For a young girl, that possibility was at it's highest. To make matters worse, this forest was also filled with all kinds of monsters. "W-what did I do wrong?? Why did I appear here?!" She just had some really bad luck traveling from the future to the present. Typically, before coming to the future, the person would just say where they wanted to arrive. Hoshiko didn't do anything but leave, figuring she would magically appear in a nice cozy city! So here she was, huddling under two large branches that grew downward, forming a sort of arch. It was just enough to hide under those branches while pressed against the back of the trunk of the tree. There were good sized bushes at ether side that helped to conceal her a little better, and while this was good, she knew eventually she would have to move again! Water, food...important must haves if she wanted to survive down the road. It was a no win situation, risk staying here and hope someone might find her, or risk running through the monster infested forest. In the distance, a rustling could be heard just as a low horrible growl came from somewhere in the bushes, whatever it was, it sounded huge....
The growling became even more fierce, and the bushes ahead of her could be seen parting...parting to a snarling large cat creature. It's long razor sharp teeth bared and dripping some kind of black saliva. "It...it....see's...me." Her heart was beating so loud, it would be a miracle that she didn't have the entire forest coming after her.
