"I don't know what you could possibly mean!" Lucia exclaimed, her voice light with feigned confusion though her smile showed that she was teasing the boys. Hector rolled his eyes, but not without smiling himself.
"You're insufferable." Hector chided, but Lucia paid him no mind. She looked back at Arthur with wide, innocent eyes, instead.
"You don't think I'm insufferable, do you, Arthur?" She asked, her lashes sweeping up as she looked at him from under them, her lip quirked into a sweet half-smirk, half-smile. Hector snorted derisively next to her, but kept his mouth shut.

Well, as part of who he was Arthur would never upset either of them. "I wouldn't say that. You can over do it a little bit at times but I wouldn't call you insufferable, M'lady." He couldn't help a small smile as well, shaking his head. "Come, now. he's just being your brother."

Lucia threw back her head and laughed, a high tinkling noise that seemed to catch the eye of anyone in her presence.
"Always neutral, aren't you? Always playing both sides?" She teased. It was his job to be neutral with them, she knew. But she still enjoyed teasing the young man.
She and Hector were both fond of him and saw him both as a brother and a friend. That didn't mean that they didn't both try their hardest to seduce him, of course. They had more than one bet going as to who would have him first, but as of yet he had shown no interest in either of them. It was getting to be discouraging.
"Leave poor Arthur alone, Lucy. I'm certain he has more important things to do than entertain your vanity." Hector said, his voice low and soft. He too had that mischievous glint in his eye as he spoke.
