  Alura nodded as she closed her eyes and allowed her body to change, though this time the Dark mist swirled around her arms and legs like jewelery. Some of the Demons recognized the ability that had belonged to her father and whispers were heard. Many of those who whispered had been associates of her father and had not seen him since he went to the human relm. She watched all of them quietly, before she looked up at Lucifer and smiled at him. Haven was playing with his ball, up until Selena sat down. He turned his head and looked at her as she spoke not understanding a word. His ears twitched as he watched her and growled testing her. was she like the other woman who was trying to be like his mother? he glanced at his ball and then back at her and then Death quietly unsure of what to do, since the woman didn't seem to understand him.

  Lucifer knew of the power that she had required and knew of the blood that flowed through her veins. The demons below now could not deny that she was of great power and was suitable for his mate. He smiled back down at her and gently stroked her face. "You're Father would be proud of you..." he whispered and stretched out his wings and held her close. The demons roared as he spread his wings and cheered. Death looked down at Haven and gave him a reasureing smile as if to tell him it was alright. "If he growls at you only growl back slightly. You need to show him that you are the domnintate..." Death explained stroking Haven's ears.

Selena nodded and bared her fangs to Haven growling lowly at him. She then blinked and looked at her hand, slowly raising it up to him. "Gentle..." She repeated, trying to be just that. Her face was filled with curiosity and nothing more, not seeming much of a threat at the moment. "I..." She paused, trying to understand that he was too young to know what she said. Suddenly she remembered the child back in the human realm who had latched on to her feathers gleefully. She looked at her wing and plucked a fluffy plume from it. With a gentle breath she blew it towards the infant, watching it slowly float down above his head, wondering if he was like the human child and would want one.

Alura blinked as she looked up at Lucifer and smiled happily. She had never thought she would want her fathers approval, but since he had been killed the night she had been released she had never even known him. She knew the power he had left for her because something inside of her had urged her to go and take it. She leaned against him and smiled as she felt him stretch out his wings and decided to mimic him as Wings of Dark mist appeared behind her and stretched out though not as much just to show she still bowed to him if only alittle. Haven watched Death smile at him reassureingly, before he looked at the winged woman and relaxed as she returned his growl and bowed his head alittle to her to show he accepted her dominance. he watched her hand come toward him and waited, until he blinked at what she did. As the feather fell on his head, he batted at it and started to purr as he played with the light toy and started to follow it as he batted it up and it fell a couple steps away from him.

Selena's lips twitched as he bat at her feather. "He likes it." She whispered. Reassured that he didn't hate her she finally reached forward and touched his cheek. She blinked and rubbed it gently, amazed at its soft texture. She then stroked his tiny ears and her lips twitched again, "You are so small..." She whispered in awe.

Haven froze as his cheek was touched and blinked a couple times as he paused in his play to look up at the winged woman. His ears twitched as they were petted causing him to purr as he crawled over and curled up against her leg purring softly his tail twitching alittle.

Selena blushed with surprise as Haven snuggled close to her. She carefully pulled him into her lap and looked down at him, stroking his head with light fingers. She wasn't sure what the feeling was that swelled in her chest, but it was overwhelming. Her lips slowly bloomed into a smile as she gazed down at the baby, "You are...the most precious little thing..." She whispered to him.

Haven mewled alittle irritated at being moved when he was just getting comfortable, before he was set in the womans lap. He looked up at her quietly just to make sure he wasn't going to be moved again, before he curled up once more and yawned purring softly. He was getting hungry but he didn't trust anyone to feed him but his mom and dad.

Lucifer smiled and cupped her chin. "You do not bow before me my dear..." He said softly and pulled her back into his arms. "Come along... Now that the air is cleared let us return to little Haven... I'm sure Death has introduced him to Selena by now..." Death smiled softly and leaned back on his hands as Selena began to bond with Haven. He wasn't sure if was the best of ideas but he knew Haven would have met her adventually when he grew up. He looked at Selena in awe as her lips curled into a smile. Never before had he ever ever, seen her smile!

Alura smiled at him and nodded as her black mist wings dissappeared and returned to her wrists and ankles. She squeaked and wrapped her arms around his neck as he lifted her up and nodded. "Knowing Death he would have....."She said growling alittle. She didn't like the idea of such a girl being near Haven, especially since she had done nothing but bad things to her.

Selena seemed to forget Death was even in the room as she stroked Haven's head. The shadows began to shift and almost dance. Her smile widened, seeing him there in her lap so at peace and purring. The shadows raised a soft tune as she began to sing softly to the infant. She never knew such peace as this infant did. And the feeling in her chest swelled as she sang a soft lullaby to him. song

Haven purred quietly as he listened to the winged woman sing. It was different but he enjoyed it as he rested quietly his ears twitching every now and then.

Lucifer smiled softly and flew up into the air heading back towards his castle with Alura in his arms. "Death would not let anything befall upon Haven and you know that..." He whispered softly to her and flew swiftly through the air. He landed onto their balcony and looked into the room smiling at the sight of Haven cuddling in Selena's lap with Death watching carfully.

Selena's soft singing slowly came to an end and the shadows subsided. She looked up and blushed, realizing Death had been there the whole time and that Lucifer himself had heard her sing and possibly caught sight of her smile. Such softness...she didn't like others seeing it in herself. Even still she looked down at the kit and stroked him gently, a warmth she'd never had before in her eyes as the gem hanging from her neck glowed lightly. She turned to Lucifer and spoke softly, "He likes me."

Alura clung tightly to him and laid her head in his chest. "I know...." she said softly as she relaxed against him, enjoying the flight. She blinked as he landed on the balcony and tilted her head as she saw the image of Haven in Selena's lap. she had to smiled though it was a nice scene, she looked up at Lucifer and smiled at him softly as well. Haven continued to purr as he heard something and opened his eyes seeing His mom and dad, before he mewled hungry. ((edited))
