[Skyepaw nodded and kept pulling. Once they got to camp she was tired. She looked at Mosstar and said,]
"Do you want some fresh kill?"
[Skyepaw was trying to hide the fact that she was exhausted and wanted something to distract her from Foampaw's body. She felt bad for her especially since Foampaw was so loyal. She looked at Mosstar with sad eyes and waited for an answer.]

Mintleaf
❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧
[Mintleaf woke up with a gasp of horror.]
This isn't the apprentice's den! she thought as she desperately scrabbled to get out.
[Closing her eyes and taking a few deep breaths, Mintleaf re-opened them to find that she was in the warriors den.]
"Oh, how.. unexciting.." she mewed disappointedly.
[Mintleaf was pretty sure that wasn't the only reason why she felt so horrible.
There was the whole Foampaw situation, and her embarrassment as a warrior in front of the newbie warriors...
Groaning in displeasure, Mintleaf stretched and began to wash her fur.
By the time she was finished her tongue was sore and her pelt shone like a glossy leaf.
Feeling a bit better, Mintleaf raced out to go hunting like she'd said she would.
Trotting at a brisk pace she found Rat, and Jadefoot obviously mentoring Rat in the ways of a warrior.
She grimaced remembering her fight with Foampaw and how after she'd disrespected Starclan by not keeping vigil.
Snarling playfully, she raced up behind him and easily swatted up a poorly hidden vole.]
"The slow cat catches no prey!" she mewed teasingly holding up her vole like a trophy.
[She curled her tail around her paws in pure amusement.
His eyes were those of a coal black and they were very enchanting..
Tearing her gaze away Mintleaf stretched and mewed even more teasingly..]
"Cat got your tongue hmmm? Gonna catch some prey any time soon? Oh well, perhaps you don't have any claws to go with your tongue-less mouth?" she whispered breathlessly into his ear as she passed him to go hunt in a different area.
(( Somebody's crushing on Rat, just a teeny, tiny bit.

______________________________ "Evil is often much closer...than one would expect." [Pattering pawsteps could be heard as Foxfire broke through the cover of the bushes that surrounded the clearing, panting and clearly out of breath. His dark amber eyes glinted with rage and determination as he looked around the camp frantically, before locating his target.]
"Sagebell! How dare you...how can you even bear to show your face after what you've done?!"
[He yowled at the top of his voice, loud enough for all the cats of Seaclan to hear.]
"I saw you, Sagebell...I saw you! Pushing Foampaw off the edge as she pleas for you to stop! You piece of fox dung!"
[Foxfire yowled as he dashed and leapt towards Sagebell, bowling her over and pinning her down with his own larger frame.]
"What has Foampaw ever done to you to deserve this?! Come on, tell the clan! Tell them how you mercilessly pushed Foampaw over the edge and into the chasm!"
[Foxfire hissed as he pressed his muzzle into Sagebell's face, fury etched across his face.]
"Just give me the word, Mosstar, and I'll FLAY this piece of...this murderous piece of fox dung!" ______________________________

"in times of great darkness, all you can do is smile, and move on"_______________________________ "Oh little one, you were so brave..."
[Sagebell mewed sadly, looking down at Foampaw's small body.]
"May Starclan bring you back fas-"
[She was cut off by Foxfire's massive body tackling her own. She may have been one of the tallest in the clan, but that was no help as Foxfire's body simply dominated over hers. She hissed, snarling in rage.]
"Me?!"
[she screamed]
"just ask Caesar, I was nowhere near that side of the forest when this happened! Those who accuse the innocent are often guilty themselves, Foxfire. How did you even know she was pushed?"
[she questioned, bunny-kicking his underbelly so that he would get off of her.]

______________________________ "Evil is often much closer...than one would expect." [Foxfire relaxed his grip so that Sagebell kicked him off, but stood in front of the she-cat with his fur bristling with anger.]
"Of course you'd say that, murderer! Who has ever heard of a murderer who admits to her own cold blooded deeds?"
[Foxfire yowled into Sagebell's face, and with his long fur bristling, he was a fearful sight indeed.]
"I was hunting, stalking a vole, when I saw you herding Foampaw towards the ledge. Foampaw's pleas and cries for you to stop...I heard everything!"
[Foxfire paused for a moment, letting the cats of Seaclan take in what they were hearing.]
"Then YOU! Without any hesitation, you slammed your body into Foampaw, pushing her over to her death! I tried to stop you, but I was too far away to do anything...but you can bet on it, I saw it all! You fox hearted vermin...what has poor, innocent Foampaw ever done to you?"
[Foxfire yowled into Sagebell's face, and at the last sentence his voice seemed to crack, as though he was overcome by his grief of not being able to stop Sagebell from the murder.]
"Those who accuse the innocent are often guilty themselves? Why, is the accuser always guilty, and the accused always holy now? Where is justice in Seaclan? On what grounds can you even call yourself innocent, Sagebell?"
[Foxfire leaned in and hissed Sagebell's name into her face, his expression one of pure rage and hatred. If he were a twoleg, by now he would have been crying with rage and regret.]
"Mosstar! You're the leader, you decide what we should do with this...this fox hearted murderer! Even death would be too sweet for her!"
[Foxfire screeched as he turned to the leader of Seaclan, searching her green eyes with his own dark amber ones.] ______________________________

((Guys, we all know that Foxfire's lying, but come on - that has got to be one of the best performances you've ever seen. SOMEONE's gotta believe that Sagebell's the killer, and side with Foxfire...
I'd say his performance deserves an Oscar XD))

Carrion's eyes narrowed as he observed both Foxfire and Sagebell. 'Neither has Foampaw's fur on them... in other words, Foxfire is lying, but Sagebell is wrong.'
Rat jumped, yelping in surprise at Mintleaf suddenly appearing behind him. When she looked into his eyes, his only coherent thought was, 'She has really pretty eyes...' When she left, Rat blinked stupidly, trying to figure out what the heck just happened.

How can you say you saw me unless you watched her jump? Then why would you not have attacked me if you care so DEARLY about dear Foampaw as you seem to do, hmm?"
[Sagebell questioned with sharp eyes. THen, she lowered her voice so that only he could hear.]
"Only cowards try to hide their trails, Foxfire. Even if you 'get rid of me', you will never win. I will see to it that the entire forest knows of your foul deeds"

______________________________ "Evil is often much closer...than one would expect." ((Evergreen: even if someone pushed Foampaw off, they won't have Foampaw's fur on them. Maybe only a faint scent on his/her paw or something, but it'll be so faint that it's unnoticeable even by a cat. So it's kinda hard to prove who's right and who's wrong.))
"Yes, I watched her, being PUSHED off the cliff! Oh I would have attacked you...had you not turned tail and fled, like the cowardly murderer that you are! Taking innocent Foampaw's life, then fleeing! Even a slow death would be too easy for you!"
[Foxfire hissed, ever fur in his body standing up, bristling. To every cat in Seaclan, it would be perfectly believable that Sagebell was the murderer, thanks to Foxfire's manipulative performance skills. When Sagebell lowered her voice and spoke to him, Foxfire showed absolutely no change in expression, and no sign that he even heard her. Had some cat been trying to read his mind, they would find absolutely no disturbances in his dark, evil heart.] ______________________________

Mosstar stood in bewilderment at Foxfires accusation. Maybe if I play along Ill find out the truth. Mosstar thought. She then padded up to both Sagebell and Foxfire,"Maybe I should just exile both of you for disrespecting the vigilence of Starclan." She mewed sadly. "What kind of world do we live in now." She mumbled and padded away to her den.

Suddenly Worm popped up in front of Mosstar, saying, "Oh, Worm almost forgot: Worm saw Foxfire talking to Tigerhawk earlier. Thought you ought to know. Bye!" He popped back into his tunnel, covering it behind him.

[Shallowpaw walked over to her leader, ignoring the display nearby.]"Mosstar,"[she mewed to get her attention.]"Do you know where my mentor is?"[She asked.]"I-I would like to know if you know where she is."[She stuttered sadly. She missed her mentor, and hadn't been taught much by her.]

[Foxfire yowled as an angry outburst, completely disregarding her words. True, he was disrespecting his leader, but there was no way that Mosstar would just walk out of this without turning an ear.]
You WILL believe me, Mosstar...after you listen to what I say.
"Starclan will not stay silent as Foampaw's murderer walks freely in the clan tonight!"
[Foxfire hissed as he leapt up to Mosstar, squaring up to her. Fury and determination burned in his eyes, but no sign of regret showed in his dark amber depths.]
"Yes, what kind of world do we live in now? Where is the justice of Seaclan? Is the guilty now innocent? Is the accuser always wrong now?"
[Foxfire looked at Mosstar for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Finally, he turned towards all the cats that had gathered in camp, and raised his voice into a loud yowl.]
"Cats of Seaclan! We cannot stay silent throughout this ordeal. How can we sit in vigil for Foampaw, with her murderer among us, and us doing nothing? Is THIS what the warrior code states? Pay our respects to Foampaw, while her murderer walks freely among us? Is THIS what Seaclan is?"
[He yowled across for the whole camp to hear, before finally turning back to Mosstar, fury burning in his amber orbs.]
"Mosstar! I cannot stay silent throughout the whole night for this matter. Exile me if you want, but at least let me send Foampaw's murderer to the Dark Forest first!" ______________________________
