Rose smiled, she was happy that Blaze was tagging along. Rose grabbed Blaze's hand and pulled her along playfully.
"Nice hole.." Rose muttered to herself. What does he mean by, Him..?

Blaze skipped along, one hand holding Rose's and one hand making sure her precious cap didn't fly off.

"bleheh.. perhaps I should seal it up later.." mused the Count, then shrugged, going into a pipe, and returning through the other side to find some irritating goombas.
"I thought I cleared you out once Mario had passed through here.." he said, darkly, and the goomba's all ran into the underground 'river' that ran parallel to where he was walking.
((hmm.. I think this place is actually from no# 1... awell~ *sweatdrop*))

Rose just skipped alone with Blaze, following the Count down the pipe and into the room. She looked around, "Uh, where are we...?" She asked the Count.

"bleheh.. somewhere that you shouldn't want to be.." was all he said, walking through a previously made hole in the wall, into a small room with a pipe in it, and a bedraggled looking guy whose teeth were all yellow.
"bleheh.." said the Count, not masking his dislike very well.
"It's 'bout time you got here- I've been holding on to it for ages- and I can tell you, there were at least 5 offers higher than your own- I 'gotta tell you- you're not paying me enou-"
"bleheh.. just.. hold your tongue.." interrupted the Count. "bleheh.. you still have it, and that's all that matters.." He flipped several coins in front of the man "bleheh.. 800 coins- count them when you have the time- give. now."
"now that's no way to speak to.." he stopped dead as The Count gave him a menacing look, then handed over a purple-black crystal. "fine- take it- It's been.. nice doing buisness with you sir.."

Blaze stared at the crystal. It looked rather pretty, but something about it was strange. No doubt it was evil. The Count did pay an impressive sum for it.

Rose followed the Count, to the room with the bedraggled looking guy. Rose was a little on edge, There's something about this room that I don't like...And what's with that crystal...? Rose thought and looked over at the crystal. Her grip on Blaze's hand tightened.

Count Bleck grinned at the crystal.
"and I shall not fall.." he said, quietly, sweeping past Rose and Blaze with a somewhat more commanding air than before, muttering "bleheh.. fool.."
"what'd you 'ust say..?"
The Count turned around, adjusting his monocle and grinning cruelly "I'm sorry- did you say this crystal was only worth 500 coins..?" needless to say, the creepy looking guy turned around and pretended he was completley alone in his hole..
"I thought as much.." muttered the count, continuing out of the 'room'

an angry scream rent the air behind them. "bleheh.. whoops- I thought it'd take him longer to realise than that- time to be gone.. bleheh..." he said, flipping them in front of the hole he had made previously..
"bleheh.. truly you underestimate me- you you honestly think I'd waste 800 coins on that fool..? hardly.." he said, grinning.
"bleheh.. don't give me that look- I believe 10 of them were real..." he said, smirking. "truly, my good side astounds me.."

The Count smirked "bleheh.. how did you expect any different..? and as far as I know- as much cruelty as I act out, it can't change a thing- the fact that I have the prognosis, and my soul has been tainted by it had put me as low as one could possibly be.. bleheh.."
