Ecchymos stared at Azrael.
"Oh no? Oh no what? He's not gonna flip out on her again, is he?"

The sound of nearby footsteps grew louder; Monoe ran inside the coffin room, clutching onto Salem's arm.
"Aaaaagh!"
Monoe let go of him, whhich sent him staggering, almost crashing into Azrael.
"Salem, smartest man of the omniverse!"
Salem turned around.
"Y-Yes?"
"Are offspring made by a bodily function, or are they carried by animal?"
Salem blinked.
"Bodily function."
"Really? How?"
Azrael was shocked; Salem had resisted.
Salem crossed his arms and nodded.
"Animals have organs especially made for such purposes."
Azreael froze.
He's phrasing it like as if she was talking about animals!
"They're called reproductive organs, and the male plants his DNA into the female. Due to a chemical reaction, the offspring develops inside the female, which is expelled from her body when it's completed devleopment."
Due to this, Monoe had grown a few inches, and her body wwas startign to flesh out.
"Really?"

Azrael shook his head.
"It's animal, too! It isn't going to work."
"That's the name of the male organ," Salem added.
Azrael quickly thhough of something.
"Uh... Monoe, what species are you talking about?"
"Humans!"
Salem flinched, and his glasses steamed up.
"Wh-What?"
Monoe pulled at Salem's sleeve.
"Yes! You're humanoid, I'm sure you have experience!"
Salem's voice cracked.
"E-Experience?"
"Yes. With that 'sex' thing."
Salem's eyes watered, and he fell to the ground in a writhing heap.
"G...Ghggh..."
Monoe's height gain instantly deflated.
"B-But... He was lying?"

Ecchymos pointed to Salem and snapped his fingers. Vhozd walked over to Salem and dragged him to his feet before throwing him over his shoulder and bringing him over to Ecchymos. Ecchymos rooted around in his pockets, and produced a roll of strangely brown gauze. He wrapped this tightly around Salem's mouth before dropping him back to the ground. He turned to Monoe.
"He's lying. He's an awful, filthy liar."

Chryseis entered the room.
"Salem...!"
She ran over to him, holding him up tenderly and taking off the gauze.
"Wh-What happened?!"

Ecchymos was startled, before he thought of an appropriate lie.
"He fell. Passed out, and he hit his mouth. I wrapped it up for him, and you should probably put it back. Also, take him to some therapy sessions. I think he's a compulsive liar."

Alice, closing in onto the door, lifted her left leg, delivering a kick into the bar to push the door open, it bursted open, creating a slight gust. She began to walk down the stairs. She looked around, a small...monochromatic girl, caught her attention as she walked. She pointed the wrench at the girl. "Miss, have you seen a woman..blonde hair,about the same height as me,named Polly?"

Monoe pointed to the lab.
"Miss Polly the Opossum. The colorful candy witch who eats virgins and haunts my dreams."
[[she has a pretty odd title, if I do say so myself.]]
Chryseis shook her head, her one eye tearing up dramatically.
"His mouth's unharmed! How do I know you didn't abduct him?! Poor Salem..."
Monoe tilted her head.
"I was asking about human biology; where babies come from."
Chryseis laughed.
"Oh...! The r-relationship... b-between a man and a woman...?"
"I guess."
"...The... non-Stork kind?"
"There are kinds?!"

Ecchymos leaned close to Chryseis and began whispering very lewd things about Salem and her in her ear. He turned away from her, towards Monoe.
"You should try getting new family. All of these ones appear to be LIARS!"

Monoe held out her hand, shy around her idol.
"M-Monoe. I saw your victory over her recently, and I was very impressed! You looked SO dignified and cool abotu everything. Heehee..."
Azrael saw what Ecchhymos did, and was speechless.
"Y-You...!"
Chryseis, needless to say, fell into a lump, Salem still unconscious in her lap.
Monoe tilted her head.
"Then I'll ask Reynard. He's related by marriage, not by blood."

"...I will win when she stops kicking." Alice's right arm moved down, dropping the large firearm and taking Monoe's hand, holding it in a sudden hard grip. Alice quickly noted her mistake. "I am Alice Pleasance Liddell."

Monoe flinched at the vicious grip, but then grinned.
"It's nice to meet you! I hope for your success, she's a very unpleasant person. She's why my dress smells like candy, yuck! And she's a figment of my nightmares, like a queen of evil."
Azrael laughed, and opened up a portal.
"Here's a portal. Hurry up before she notices."
