Conner nodded in agreement and turned, planning to head out the way they entered. Luckily the day was young, and they'd be flying through plenty of sun-lit skies.

Kesshou nodded and quickly rubbed her nose against Garth's and giggled, letting him go and scurrying off to the other end of the table. She grabbed her plate along the way, as to not dirty another one.
As she passed Kurt she stuck her tongue out and giggled some more. She felt like she used to. Like when she first joined the X-Men.
The only word to describe the way she felt was 'free'.

Gar looked startled when she had given him the nose rub but them he smirked, his toothy grin almost showing. He followed behind her, he hadn't had ladies that liked him that much since his acting career started going down the drain. Garfield grabbed a plate and searched the fridge for anything that could be vegan, veggies, fruits... after getting together some of those he moved back to the table which happened to be away from Oracle and Apex.
Kurt followed Garfield and grabbed just about any junk food he could find in the fridge that he could scarf down taking that to the table as well. He sat down his tail quickly wrapped around the leg as he sat up to the table leaning against both his elbows his hands put together.
"Zhank you lord for zhis delicious food zhat ve vill be partaking of, Amen."

Scott glared at the man behind his crystal sun glasses coldly.
"Just following orders... you know s**t like that is how innocent people get hurt. It doesn't matter who you're working for. You're lucky that we haven't seriously hurt you for the things you and your friends have done to us, to the people we care about and everyone else involved."

Elasa looked at the various supers digging into foods she had only seen in books shown to her by Zesoranael at his bookstore in Metropolis. But what got her attention was the blue-skinned male, with a tail and a rather furry look about him, similar to Kesshou. She moved over to the man, her head cocked in curiosity.
She had heard Zeso recite similar prayers to a deity he had said was referred to by several names: "Yahweh", "Jehovah", "The Lord", or most commonly "God". He had told her that many humans in the current age had faith in this individual, and believed he was the creator of all life. Elasa likened this figure to Yaro, the first of the two primary deities of the ven'ari pantheon.
However, Zeso had also told her that many believers in "The Lord" were not always devout; many of them rarely went to religious ceremonies or actively praised this deity, which was something Elasa could not fathom. So seeing this male reciting a prayer of thanks for the food he was eating, while the others did not, struck Elasa as very, very strange.
"Hello," she said softly to Kurt. "Why do these people around you not give thanks to a deity, like you do?"

Kurt stopped for a moment and waited till his mouth was clear before speaking to the woman.
"Zhe lord our Father, does not require that we must pray to him. Faith cannot be forced, but for zhose who pray, the lord will listen. I believe zhat every prayer god's children make are heard and answered... Zhat is vhy I pray... and I was once a priest once as vell."
Despite Kurt's rather youthful almost teenage appearance, and his youthful attitude he was quite wise about the ideals of divine power. Even for people like him, who looked like him, he still believed that god would care for all children. For every person, from any world, background, from mutant to human they were all equal in the eyes of god.
Garfield looked up to the kid and then raised an eyebrow in curiosity at how he could be a priest at such a young age... although not aging isn't a new thing to Gar... since the green skinned kid seemed to age far less than most of those he knew. He kept his mouth shut, since he didn't want to really get into a religious debate with anyone. With so many beliefs in this world, and probably more now still, there is no reason to go and start talking about beliefs. Besides overhearing Kurt, and the blue lantern he was a little more interested in the really hawt girl who seemed to really care for him, Kesshou. "Is it possible that I could really start a relationship with this girl? Well, for however long I will remain in this mismatched world." he thought.

After Babs got herself out of the bathroom, she did try to stand. However, her legs wouldn't obey her -- her thigh and calf muscles moved but not in any coorinated fashion. The redhead grasped a hold of a sink to keep herself from falling to the tiled floor.
Struggling with effort, Oracle tried to get herself back into her wheelchair.
.....
Rogue guided Konner back outside and began to fly, "C'mom Kansas, let's git 'afore somethin' else happens round here. Ah'll follow ya whereahver ya need ta go."

After Conner was led out by Rogue, he also took to the air, enjoying the powering sunlight once more. He breathed deeply before he took lead to the southwest.

As Konner flew up ahead of her, Marie breathed a deep sigh. She finally meet a good guy that she can touch... and this guy has a sweetie out there. Momentarily lost in thought, Just mah luck... Ah find a wonderful guy Ah can fall in love with, and of course he's taken. Kon's a real sweet guy, an he deserves all the happiness he can find. Part of meh wants us to nehver find 'Cassie', but ... Ah can't stand seein him worry... part of tha reason Ah'm taken with him. For bettah or worse, Ah'll always be a helpin ya, Kansas.
Rogue flew up following Superboy....

Kesshou looked over at Elasa and tilted her head in confusion. "You do not know about God?" Kesshou personally didn't pray to any deity but she had never heard of someone not knowing about 'God'.
She then looked back to Garth and giggled at him playfully before going back to her sausage links, eating one in one bite.

As Babs struggled to get into her wheelchair, she would be able to feel her leg muscles beginning to calm down. She would be able to walk properly in a few minutes, as her legs needed that time to get used to working again.
Elasa frowned. "My people... worship me as a goddess," she said cautiously to Kurt. Zesoranael had told her that many religious people on the planet might get upset with her for this information. "They believe me to be the mortal incarnation of Leyu, who is the goddess of peace in the afterlife for my people. I... I do not like it. It is embarrassing to me when they do it, but... who am I to stop my own people from following their own beliefs? I tell them: 'Do not worship me, worship Leyu', and yet they tell me that I am her, and perhaps I am, but... that does not stop me from worshiping our gods like I usually do."

  Both Nightshade and Songbird just simply stared at Elasa for her remark. The dark vigilante and the Thunderbolt then glanced at each other, both probably thinking the same thing: We have another loon on our hands. Songbird made a meaningful glance toward Penance. While Melissa's back was facing Apex, Mel's green eyes motioned toward the mercenary and back at Robby -- indicating that Mel wanted him to keep an eye on Apex for her. Sitting back down at the table, the red and white tressed Thunderbolt began to munch her breakfast, "So Elasa, right? Do you come from some mysterious island or something like that?" In Mel's head, she was thinking about the story around the movie monster Mothra and the tiny princesses that were worshipped who could sing to Mothra. Nightshade wasn't sure where Songbird was going with that, but he was just being his normal pleasant self. The black doctor fatherly spoke to Nightcrawler first, "Well Kurt, I didn't realize you were a man of the cloth. Too many people in this world seemed to have lost their faith. Maybe one of these days, more will actually come around. Anyway, how are you and the others holding up?" also glancing at Kesshou, "And I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Des, Des Powell."

The Professor harrumphed and shook his head, looking at Scott deadpan, "You're assuming that we had a choice. We have to obey orders. Normal people wouldn't understand. You live in a world separate from mine. The Company takes a lot from you, and you're forced to give a lot. The difference here is that you live under the illusion of freedom, I do not. And no, I'm not trying to insult you in any fashion -- just telling you that we don't have a choice. It's just in this case.... I fail to see the logic of the Company's orders."

Kesshou's attention moved to Nightshade. "I'm Kesshou Higashi." Although her attention was shortly held before she went back to flirting with Garth.
