The man made an angry noise, making new plans, he wanted the little dragon.
Miranda wiggled in the bag again, the rat didnt look like it was doing anything and she started to snap at it again.

Merem put his hand on the bag that held Miranda, "Come after her again and you'll regret it," He said calmly. His fangs lengthened and he moved closer like he was going to bite the man's neck. But he pulled back at the last moment. His fangs shortened again and he smiled a little to him, "Get lost before I lose my patience."

Miranda could smell Merem now and she wiggled furiously, she wanted out of the bag. The man looked scared, and angry, he hurried away as soon as he could. Miranda squeeked, wondering why she wasnt out yet.

Merem let the man leave. The white rat jumped out of the bag and ran after him, making sure to remain hidden.
Merem then opened the bag and lifted Miranda out, "Hey there," He said to her with a smile.

The man finally stopped, taking a deep breath before cursing. He had lost one of the bags that he had for catching the little ones, and it definitely took a chunk on what he would have made in profit. He looked around before heading back to the hotel he had been staying in.
Miranda squeeked happily, her wings stretching out instinctively.

The rat snuck between floorboards of the building so it could keep tabs on the man.
Merem hugged her gently, "Are you okay little one?"

The man pulled another bag out of his luggage, making a new plan to catch Miranda, a little set back was no reason to give up on something that would make him plenty richer.
Miranda nuzzled Merem, happy to know she wasnt in the little bag anymore. Miranda looked up, nipping at his nose.

The rat continued to listen in on the man, moving towards his closet and hiding in there instead.
Merem hugged her and went back to the inn.

He pulled out a bag of dried plants, going to the desk and grinding them up, in the end they let off a lighter version of the original scent that had attracted Miranda. This time he started to rub it on a small disk, he wanted to take advantage of the fact that she was curious, and hope that Merem wouldnt notice the scent.
Miranda wiggled, wanting to explore the room again, she wanted to see what was under the bed, and in the closet, and in the bathroom.f

The rat watched what he was doing from the crack in the door to his closet, making sure something was covering it as he watched.
Merem let the little dragon explore the room, making sure the windows and doors were shut. He sat down watching her, "So you're a little dragon huh?" He said.

Miranda looked at Merem, hearing him talk. She hurried up to him squeeking happily. She bit his shoe playfully.

Miranda wiggled, her claws resting on his hands. She let out a little puff of fire, getting better at making a steady stream, although it wasnt a good thing to learn indoors.
