Fauve turned away from the lake and ran toward where she knew Cern was staying. Inathe screetched at the sudden movement and took to the air flying just above his mother as she ran. She was so upset right now she didn't care how tangled or messed up she was when she came to a stop in front of the ship. 'Cern! Cern! Please if your in there I need to talk to you!' Fauve couldn't help the desperate sound in her voice, or the tears that still seemed to be falling down her mask despite her best attempts to stop. Inathe landed again upon her shoulder rubbing his head against her hair trying to calm her down.

He'd been walking to the ship when he heard Fauve and broke into a run. Fauve! What? What is it?

Fauve turned and looked around, she heard Cern, he wasn't in the ship and she started toward the sound of his voice 'Cern... I... it's Kasai..' She broke into a run when she saw him in the trees and threw herself on Cern. She buried her face in him and sniffed mentally 'he says it's nothing.. but... he was with Zahar and they looked so happy..' She couldn't help the jealousy that came through with her words. 'I need a friend Cern, and a bath...'

That settled it. Kasai was insane. And an idiot. Cern hugged Fauve carefully, patting a shoulder. I'm sure it was nothing hon. And he was the Queen of the Rade. As for a bath, well, there's the lake. I'll grab some things from the ship, and head over there with you. The swim will ease your mind. And his club would have come in handy right now, but barring that, he was going to grab towels.

Fauve looked up at him and nodded.. she wiped the tears from her mask and took a deep breath. 'Thank you Cern, I appriciate it. A swim sounds perfect' She tried a small smile and her eyes tilted up a bit. She let go of him so he could get the things they would need. Inathe rubbed a bit on his mother's hair again before gliding up to a treebranch to perch comfortably. Little pinpricks of blood formed on Fauve's shoulder where Inathe's claws gripped her.

He let go reluctantly. I'll only be a minute, okay? I might have to search for the towels. There was about five boxes he hadn't gone through. His club had to be in one of them. If they ran into Kasai, Cern was going to teach him a few lessons about appreciation. In the meantime, he vanished into the ship.

Fauve brushed a hand up through her hair. Seeing Cern did make her feel better, and talking about it would probably make her feel even better. She turned and looked at the trees waiting for Cern to return, she shut her eyes and thanked whoever gave her such a wonderful "big brother"

Ready? Cern stepped back out, a couple of towels thrown over his shoulder. Luck had held out, and the first box had everything he needed. The towels covered it all though. I grabbed a towel for you too. As usual, the towels had been in the bathroom, neatly folded. Let's get walking!

Fauve nodded and her smile wasn't quite so forced. She fell into step next to Cern and looked at him sidelong 'I'm sorry if I scared you.. when I screamed like that.. I just, couldnt think of anyone else to talk to right now, Ashirha hasn't been very social lately... and your the only other person I could think of right now'

Just glad you weren't being attacked. He turned his head to the side and popped his neck. You want to keep talking about it? Cern eyed her carefully. I mean, is there something else Kasai has done? You know, more reasons to kill the smarmy sonuvagun?

Fauve hooked her arm through Cern's and looked down 'I don't know.. he said something about you..' she couldn't help the broad smile 'called you a flower picking hippy or something like that, but he accused me of thinking that you were more important to me than he was....' She frowned obviously upset.. She stopped at the shores of the lake and looked over at him.. turning her back to him she wondered how much of her clothing she could get away with taking off and still be proper.. bathing wasn't easy clothed...

Taking advantage of her looking well, elsewhere, Cern stripped of his clothing and leaped into the water. Attached in a scabbard type carrier was his old hammer, now light enough to be carried around. Granted, the water was going to be hell on it.
He stayed under for a moment, letting the water flow around him, before sticking his head. He called me a WHAT? Shaking his head, Cern flung water droplets around. That trigger happy psychopath only says that because he's an idiot. Sullenly, he splashed a bit. You getting in?

Fauve turned to look at him and shrugged out of her outer dress, stripping down her her underwear.. something about bathing with Cern was comfortable.. but still.. he was still a boy and it wasn't proper to be undressed with a boy... She crossed her eyes at him and started climbing into the water.. she blinked when she realized all his clothes were on the shore.. turning to look at him she gasped out 'Cern! for goodness sake! your naked! have some decency!' She sunk into the water and gave him a somewhat dirty look... she splashed him a bit so he wouldn't laugh at her discomfort

Fauve nodded a bit and relaxed in spite of herself... it was relaxing.. she felt safe with Cern there.. She dunked her head under the water and surfaced getting her hair wet.. floating a little closer to Cern she tilted her head.. 'Do you think he just doesn't like me?'
