[[Ninja Jesus... XD oh my god your brain damaged. Although... that would explain a few things like the whole water to wine and walkin on water stuff...]]

Marcus looked to Shadow and blinked a few times. It took him a minute for his brain to register who it was... he was horrid with faces you see... comes with the past he's had as far as jobs and such. Seen one face, screwed about 2 thousand. He then smiled a bit as the boy made small talk. He remembered who he was now.

Marcus heard his request and looked the boy over... he was embarrised, who wouldn't be... but... Marcus wouldn't make it worse. He'd try to help the kid. "Everyone. We got a new student here today. His names Shadow. Now be nice to him, when the Master's attacked, he lost parts of his memory so he doesn't remember a lot of the things you guys are learning now. So be kind to him or else."

A lost memory... wasn't the worst of things Marcus could have told the kids. Could have told them the absolute truth and made Shadow the laughing stock. At least this way he would keep some dignity about things. As long as you live, you can do it with dignity. Once you die, you can't keep it...

Marcus would turn to the boy and smile. "Well, this should be super easy for you to do I think." Marcus would reach over to a nearby towel that was hanging up. It was a bit bigger than himself when fully opened and spread. "Hmmm I've seen you around town a bit kid so I know you still remember things bout chakra control. All this is is mass chakra control on a small scale." Yea, that made sense.

Marcus would hold the blanket up against his body and soon, he'd vanish before their eyes, everything behind him seeming to come to the front. He would wait a few moments then move it away.

"See? The trick is to flood whatever your holding with chakra. The jutsu actually works by bending the light around you to take the image of whatevers behind you and coat the object with it. It's a lot easier than it sounds. All you need is something flat and bigger than your body. It works best with flat things like bed sheets and stuff but anything is fine. Now here, you try." Marcus would hand the boy the towel.

"Just hold it up over your head and push your chakra through your hands into the towel and just imagine that light wrapping around you."

As the Kage briefed him on the workings of the Henge, Reimei nodded, ready to begin but...

Ah!

Fox-nii-san!

But what was his aniki doing here...?

Wasn't Shadow supposed to be participating in that grand Exam of sorts...?

So trotting over, there was a gentle tug on Shadow's hand. A small smile broke across the young Uchiha's pale, porcelain features...

"Is fox-nii here to learn a super awesome technique that can blow all the other Chuu-neen candidates away...?" He asked, quite innocently, not realizing he just destroyed Marcus' general lie to the class. Revealing that a) Shadow was a Chuunin Exam candidate and b) Shadow should be learning something much stronger and better than basic Academy techniques. But all that went through the boy's head was...

So the Academy actually has cool things to teach!

"Reimei's learning Henge~" Said the child, almost happily. He pointed to Marcus. "Mister's a good teacher!"

Mister...?

Ah, so the child still had no idea this was the Tsuchikage Taida Marcus of Iwagakure no Sato...

Eagerly, the child formed the Tiger seal...how strange...even though the Sheep seal would've been easier... Was that perhaps an instinctive preinclination towards the lost memory of his bloodline...? The child's face was peaceful, however, as the boy concentrated on drawing out the chakra needed for the Henge and...

With a plume of smoke, the boy had turned into a perfect copy of Shadow, hair, skin, eye color...down to even the clothes. The ease to which the child had performed the technique would definitely have made the other Students wonder by now...and along with that Bunshin technique that the Kage had attempted to start off with, yet this boy seemed to have known it...

Yet...this childish innocence...the sheer delight at seeing that the Henge had worked for him... That was real. After all, how could it not be? He was able to do shinobi techniques... That meant, for Reimei...not only the possibility of not being expelled from the Academy now but actually offering the possibility of graduating, of becoming a real shinobi...

With another puff of smoke, the child returned to his original form. He had succeeded in performing the Henge. Returning to his seat now - his aniki would be joining soon anyways - and forming the Tiger seal again, he attempted to Henge into Marcus this time, however, this time around...chakra unstably leaked into the air, ghostly blue trails they were...

Rightly panicking, the boy instantly halted the draw. Which was probably wise, to not strain his chakra system by forcibly attempting to finish a unsuccessful technique trail. Which could also be dangerous... Something had not been done right about that attempt...had he not molded the chakra correctly...?

Reimei looked longingly at his pile of confiscated scrolls by Marcus which were still in the front of the room. But he did not dare to go get the one on Chakra...the teacher probably wanted him to learn first-hand rather than relying on the scroll's information... So he racked his brain, trying to remember what the scroll had said from his eager reading the previous night...something...something about body energy and spiritual energy...

Body energy comes from the cells...

And combined with the energy of the spirit, that becomes chakra...

Draw out the chakra and...

No.

It wasn't that he wasn't doing the molding correctly. It was simply that his level of chakra control was not enough. He had been able to perform the other technique with fair ease...and...there was definitely something strange... The other Students had to take time for resting...but he didn't feel tired yet...he felt like he could still keep...on going... As if he had more chakra than they did to spare.

Will that be the reason, then? Because he did have more chakra, he needed to harness greater control...? Or rather his level of control currently was not enough to command his reserve of chakra... That was when Reimei recalled an important line in one of the scrolls...

The handseals were meant to help facilitate chakra control for Jutsu usage.

So this time instead, even during the molding process, Reimei held and maintained the Tiger seal. So stiffly proper the way he held himself it was...almost as if the boy was in deep meditation while molding his chakra. The idea was to channel the chakra from the tenketsu once it is molded to veil the whole body, thus so the appearance could chance.

But Henge, while veiling appearance, even deceiving others on such things as weight and sight to a degree for the more advanced users...yet even with such degree of manipulation, upon enough of a physical impact, the Henge's illusion will disperse. So the chakra should be more compacted...to provide more of a resistance...and...

A plume of smoke, and he had turned into a copy of Marcus.

Hair color...skin color...clothes...check.

It seemed that he didn't miss any details, so that was good. Dropping the Henge's veil, he returned to his normal self. But then, a thought came across his mind this time. He wanted to do something different. What if he just focus on changing his clothes, rather than his whole appearance...?

Hm...a yukata...

So forming the Tiger seal again, Reimei kept the image of a yukata strongly in his mind and...another plume of smoke, and his clothes had transformed into a black yukata embroidered with a silver dragon.

The child took a moment to inspect his work, that all of the clothing details were well-done, down to the embroidery of the dragon, and happily now, he dropped the Henge. He had finished the lesson, and would now focus on molding his chakra to refill his reserves...

It was a little stiff sitting so stilly in his seat. So getting up, Reimei took a more comfortable position on the floor. It might have been curious for the other Students, why the stiffly formal lotus position would be remotely more comfortable... And even though Reimei didn't know why, it was...it was just...almost as if it was something imprinted in his body's memory... Simply...it was...almost habitual, even if he does not remember the reason...

---

Cp: 7/12

Something was missing, though.

What was it? Meditation was important due to the breathing patterns, just like it was in yoga... Yoga? What was that again... Anyways, breathing was important...so deep breath in....hold for a bit...and gently, gently, breathe out...

Aum.

Reminded his mind.

Om?

Composed of three phonemes. The three sounds a (a-kāra), u (u-kāra), and m (ma-kāra). A-kara means form or shape like earth, trees, or any other object. U-kara means formless or shapeless like water, air or fire. Ma-kara means neither shape nor shapeless (but still exists) like the dark matter in the Universe.

Unity upon unity...

An existence with many forms...

---

Cp: 8/12

An existence with many forms...

Wasn't he something like that?

Aum was attributed...to profound religious meditation...

So he chanted it. A gentle hum from his lips.

Aum was of the three psychological states of waking, dreaming, and sleeping and the fourth state of illumination...

He is in between. He is awake, but he is also dreaming...this reality he walks through was somehow reality, but it was also somehow not real...

Meditation is a form of self-hypnotization...

There was something lost...

But why can't he remember it...?

---

Cp: 9/12

It was a distant memory.

The faces were blurry, so he recognize none.

Their voices came from afar, almost as from the noumenal world...

The noumenal world is Nirvana.

This was not the first time he had done meditation...the first time, they made him hold something in the right hand...

It was something strange. A weapon.

A weapon that in the myths belonged to a god.

The Vajra.

The weapon of Indra, the king of the Devas.

It symbolized the destruction of ignorance...

The male principle - of method - the Bell is held in the left hand. A spiritual harmony, even in the Vajra itself. The universe is in the center, then comes the purity of the lotus flowers...and from the mouths of the lotus, mythical half-fish, half-crocodile creatures...a union of opposites, their tongues touching at the center...

A union of opposites?

---

Cp: 10/12

That was like chakra.

The body's energy was the phonomenal world. Samsara, the realm where all living things dwell...

The mind's energy was the link to the noumenal world. Nirvana, the realm of the afterlife...

The sacred connection between the body and the soul.

That was chakra. Not just energy, energy for the usage of Jutsus...no...but chakra was a linking point to the very source of life in living beings...

All living beings. Corrected a voice in his mind.

For even the plants, the animals, everything on earth too had chakra...

Different from humans...

...yet all the while the same...

---

Cp: 11/12

There was more...more to the Vajra...

Even though the number of makaras, those half-fish, half-crocodile creatures that symbolized the union of opposites...even though the number could vary, the traditional Vajra should have five...

Five creatures.

Five creatures to symbolize the five poisons.

One side of the Vajra was the phenomenal world.

The other side of the Vajra symbolized the noumenal world.

Five poisons of an impure mind...

And when the five poisons are removed...

Then the five wisdoms are gained.

That was the path to Enlightenment. The basic dichotomies those still training to understand meditation learned...

Gaining the five wisdoms, was to understand the world...

To gain an understanding of life...

To gain an understanding of chakra...

---

Cp: 12/12

Opening his eyes, a bead of sweat was at his temples. The ever-changing color of his orbs looked somewhat blue in the dim light, as wide eyes grew heavy lidded in deep contemplation.

He had finished molding his chakra.

But he had lost something else...

So certain he was that the Truth was by his fingertips...

So why did it merely slip away...?

Was there something perhaps...

A flicker of a memory.

The memory that had not disappeared, from the very beginning...

Blood.

Fire the color of ink.

The smell of burning wood and flesh.

And crimson, crimson eyes...

Eyes that were like those demon crows of legend...

The seal that was placed on him.

...was it of his own creation...?

Did...did he will for himself not to remember...?

...running...

He was running from something.

But...what was it...?

[[Haha well actually Ninja Jesus only walked on water, it was Pirate Jesus who turned water into wine! ]]
[[Oh and i hope you dig the reference thing! ]]

Shadow grinned happily at Marcus, he was really expecting him to do something that would embarrass Shadow, however he couldn't help but stop smiling now. He watched and listened to the explanation carefully, nodding at every word with a look of determination in his eye. He grabbed the towel and then grinned happily. As he placed the towel aside.

Yeah! This will be a breeze! Although... I know something like a sheet or a towel works best... But i brought my own thing... He then went outside for a moment and came back with... A cardboard box? Yes, it was a typical cardboard box with some writing on the side of it and what looked like a little eye hole pressed out so he could see. It looked like one could sit on their but with their knees in it, however if they chose to walk around there feet would be exposed... And it would look like a walking box... Alright, so i need to use the chakra to bend the light around me... Is it possible to move with this technique? Shadow asked, he didn't think so but he wanted to know if there were ways. He flung the box over his head and tried to focus chakra so he would be able to bend light around him.

((Imma respond to you next post proto, i wanted to divide up my line of thought in multiple training posts! ))

As Shadow flung the box over his head, he focused his chakra in order to bend the light waves around the box. It slowly flickered out of existence and it was as though Shadow was invisible. He grinned as he heard his brother talk, and then popped out of the box in a realitively dramatic manner and looked at him with a very cheery smile.

He's a very good teacher indeed! You should listen to everything he says, he's a good man! Shadow grinned as he looked over at it his small little brother. A super awesome jutsu to blow the others away? Something like that! Shadow smiled devilishly at the statement. He couldn't use the technique alone, everyone would catch onto that... However he had a plan at this point. Though after learning this, he would have to go make preparations for the plan... He was only worried about finishing on time. He then grinned happily at his little brother again You should be happy, we're students together! That means you'll get to tell people you were on the same team as the future winner of the exams! He smiled again as he grabbed the box and whirled it over his head. One i get this down, of course!

[[heheheheh, does this answer your question of if I get the reference?]]

Marcus would look to the boy Shadow and shake his head... a box huh... a cardboard box. Marcus would put his hands in his pocket and walk out of the room. he would come back and look to Shadow again. As he poked his head out of the box, Marcus would raise a symbol on a stick over his head. The symbol was a blue exclamaition mark. He would then lower it and bob Shadow in the head with it playfully and chuckle a little.

Mister... why'd he all of a sudden feel about 20 years older. He sighed deeply and looked to Reimei and bobbed him in the hed with the mark... a little harder, "Name's Marcus sqirt. ANd if you have enough time to talk, how about moving on to the jutsu he's doing. You heard the explination right? So hop to." Marcus would hand Reimei the blanket to get the training started for himself.

"Nope..." the answer was late as hell really. It was in reference to the movement question, "You can try to move but you'll screw up your display. The amount of chakra control needed to bend light is a lot more straining than you think. If you tried to move, there are so many other factors you have to take into consideration. That's why this is best done with your back against a wall or some other none moving object."

Shadow focused the chakra around him, and the box seemingly disappeared, however if you looked closely you could see the flickers that appeared where he didn't quite focus correctly. He popped out of the box with the elemation point about his head. Suddenly he took a very started expression as he started to hum a strange tune that sounded like NING! Du-nu-nuDU-na-na-na! Where as Marcus chuckled, Shadow laughed cheerfully. He looked as Marcus seemed to dislike being called mister, and Shadow walked up to him and put his hand on his shoulder. grinning evily he said in a joking manner.

Why is that a gray hair!? It was of course a joke since Marcus of course had silver hair, however Shadow was just playing with him. In the same way that most would make fun of him for being an eighteen year old Genin. Shadow made sure to say it in the way that he felt conferable with Marcus. Really he was greatful at how kind he was being, and this was his way of showing it. Subtly saying that it was okay to give each other crap now. He snickered as he picked up the box and once again tried to hide.

Marcus looked to Shadow for a moment and ruffled his hair a bit, "Get away from me kid, you have milk on your breath and i'm lactose intollerant." an age joke back to him. Marcus wasn't half as bad as Gig would havemade him out to be... he was just a goof ball.

Soon, the veluptious Getsue would come up next to Marcus. Her Hyuuga eye's would move from one boy to another. Leaning in, she would begin to speak to Marcus. She was mentioning something about the academy and the other students and Marcus just kinda shrugged... to which he got a smack in the back of the head.

No such luck for Marcus though.

An innocent smile met the Tsuchikage.

"Nope!" Said Reimei, very sweetly and cheerfully. "Mister's Mister, because Mister have gray hair~" But then he paused, looking thoughtful. "But the ogre boy (aka Shinratsu) yesterday had gray hair too...so did the guy who turned aniki yellow (aka Katagi)..." But then shaking his head rigorously, the young Uchiha did something even more Un-Uchihaish...

He pointed at Marcus.

And announced, very loudly...

"Reimei has concluded Mister's at least fifty-one~"

Fifty-one? But that was exactly twenty years older!

Not realizing the implications, though, Reimei eagerly took up the Kakuremino cloaks... There was a Jutsu to finish.

Marcus looked to Reimei and then realized something. He looked to Getsue and smiled, “Hey… aren’t you older than me?”

Getsue’s eye’s closed and she began to growl to herself… she hated thinking about her age. Made her feel… well… old. She began to growl deeper and deeper to the point where the lines of her Byakugan would begin to creep along her face till finally…

“BYAKUGAN!” they flaired. She looked right to the boy and began to growl. “You little brat! Where do you get off calling me… err I mean him old?!” The Byakugan flared… well flared as much as pure white eye’s could rather. She began a slow, creep walk towards the cloaked wall. She had the true evil glare in her (you have any idea how hard it is to evil glare someone with no pupils?! IT AIN”T EASY!)

A kunai gleamed in her hand (not even Marcus saw her pull it) as she stalked closer and closer to the boy. However, out of no where, Marcus would begin tapping her in the head and moved around in front of her. “Oooook, calm down…hey, ain’t that suppose to be your line to Morde?” He laughed a little.
