Kira nods, then looks to Kaori and Loka as they near. She then crouches down looking to Kaori "this one is more like her father, I can tell from her scent."
Ryu in the meantime reviews the gathered kitsune, separating those that are easily identified as peaceful and those that could be potential trouble. Those would then be further separated into low, medium, and high risk troublemakers.

Kaori reached out and touched Kira's face and giggled. Loka chrouched down next to the baby and examined Kira a little closer. Megumi watched on with curiosity but stayed close to Lyoko.

A faint smile came to Kira long furry muzzle. She then offered a little lick to Kaori before looking to Loka and doing the same. She then looks to Lyoko and says "they're cute."

"They like you." Megumi stayed curled against Lyoko, paying Kira absolutely no attention to her. "Don't be hurt if Megumi doesn't do the same as Kaori, she's a vampire and you're a lycan. It's only instinct."

Kira fixes Lyoko with a hard gaze "I"m nothing like those mongrels. I'm Kitsune, I don't change back and forth between beast and human. I will always be like this." After a moment of her hard gaze, Kira realizes her mistake in protocol and then bows her head some saying "forgive me, I'd merely wanted to inform you of the difference.
Ryu finally finished with the inspections and was soon returning to the others.

She ignored Kira's disrespect, not really caring. "You still smell like a Lycan, in her book you're the same thing whether you change back or not." She looked down at Megumi for a moment then got up and put her next to Kari. She cuddled up to the big cat immediately and Kari nuzzled her carefully. When Ryu came back in she walked over to him. "Everything taken care of?"

Ryu nods and says "for now, a few teams have yet to report back in but that's a matter that can wait for a later time." Ryu looks to Kira and nods to her. She in turn bows some saying "I am greatful for your mercy sir. Ryu nods and say to both girls "so how have things been while I was tending to business?"

"Kaori's taken liking to Kira, Megumi... not so much." She looked over at Kari and Megumi. "It's instinct."

Kira says "As lady Lyoko has stated m'lord." Ryu nods and says "Well given time, I'm sure megumi will over come instinct and judge more fairly."

Lyoko scooped up Megumi adn handed her to her father. She looked up at him blankly for a moment then giggled.

Kira looked to Lyoko and asked "what will you have me tend to now, mistress." Ryu smiled to Megumi and kissed her on the nose.

"You can go and make yourself aquainted with your new home. The guards will follow you though." When Kira left the goom the guards followed her.

Ryu was still kinda playing with Megumi when Kira left. He then looked to Lyoko and asked "do you think you and her will get along well enough?" Megumi was now playing with his hair again.

Ryu nods, then looks to Megumi as she tugs on his chn hair. He smirks and gives a kiss to her nose, yielding a series of giggles.
