Satoshi frowned "It doesn't sound like a fun job, I hate the jungle personally. At least in the desert it's dry when hot rather than humid and theres nothing nasty crawling about trying to bite you" she remarked choosing not to go into details of how a mosquito had once made her rather ill. "Sounds like a bit of a long shot in terms of finding the sword though. Still better than nothing"

"Well it's not like she could just go out and buy things from the shop, she would still have to ask someone to get it for her" Hayate pointed out picking up his spoon. "she used to keep on asking me to smuggle in sweets for her and cakes all the time"

Adohand laughed not surprised "Corella seems to have picked up that sweet tooth instead, she comes down to the kitchen a lot asking me to make her a cake or some other pastry dish, it's a surprise she stays so thin sometimes"

Felina raised her eyebrow "Really now? I never knew she did that, the sneaky little thing. and why would I want to buy a full sized dolls house when mum bought us all one to share for the dragon festival one year. I spent my money on lots of toys, like a whole room full of stuffed toys to play with and I liked to buy saddles and equipment and things for my life sized stuffed shoopuff"

Amane paused watching curiously somebody at a stand trying to hook onto a duck with a long stick "what a bizzare looking game" she muttered turning away from it. "Well maybe the dragon is well protected by these demons or maybe they don't know about it or are too scared to try and take it? But if the dragon is happy why should it have to be taken away, surelly thats all that matters?"

Gil nodded "Sounds like that wasn't too pleasant" he said making sure Enkidu was following close behind as they walked single file across the bridge "Well he was immortal but once his kingdom was destroyed he went travelling supposedly seeking a worthy resting place as he'd grown tired of life, if the rumours about the scabbard are true he could even be alive today" he said

Oassu burst into laughter "I can't quite picture little Corella wielding a great big battleaxe," he snickered wiping a small tear from his eye "That's like Zadina wielding a Great Club or a wrecking ball though it's nice to know they are getting her to try a bunch of things" he said.

Zadina nodded "Well it's certainly a possibility but I think the WPSO would probably like to breed the dragon since there are few left, they also might consider it cruelty keeping it captive here plus some folks might attack the circus to get at the dragon, my brother once told me dragons have materials to make really sharp and sturdy weapons" he explained smiling at a little baby bangaa being wheeled past in a pram.

Satoshi raised her eyebrow "well surely if he was that sick of being immortal, he could just kill himself with a blade or whatever, or ask someone to remove his head. Last time I checked that can kill pretty much anything be it human animal or undead. What about the blade of the sword itself? what made that special?"

"She's not actually that bad, but your thinking more of the big two handed things. She's more into the smaller hand axes at the moment. You can sometimes see her training from outside the kitchen windows" Adohand stated not surprised by Oassu's laugh "Some people just aren't made for combat or magic"

Felina shook her head "Thats true but she's actually pretty good at alchemy and knowing how to make medicines and things out of flowers and herbs. But you never know, she might surpise us all and show to have enough strength to wield a greatsword not that it's likely" she added quietly

"I tried teaching her a little archery once. It didn't go well and her biggest success from her lessons was hitting me in the knee. I was pretty lucky she made such a weak shot for that sort of injury can put adventurers and all sorts out of a career" Hayate mumbled with a small shudder.

Amane giggled spotting what Merric was running off to; a shiny silver sweet wrapper than some younger kid had dropped as litter sometime earlier that day "Hehe I think he found something of interest to him, you'll have to train him well to get him to not just run to any old slightly shiny thing. Thinking about it, is it not a little on the risky side preserving dragons since they often apparently go mad and attack villages and steal princess and stuff?"

Gil nodded "That could always be a possibility but I'll never know until I try and sure I picked up the zantetsu a while back however this sword is still something special to me, Zantetsu is a strong sword but many magical enemies have barriers which stop it cutting through everything" he said.

Oassu nodded understanding a bit "I don't know some people have a real passion for cooking but yeah I suppose I can see a bit of that in Zadina, he's already like a master sage and he wants to go on and do enchanting now along with some swordplay from Gil" he said.

Zadina frowned "So long as he doesn't try and eat it wouldn't do to have him choking on them" he said watching Merric closely "But yeah I heard that was the case back when dragons were more common though dragon's haven't been a real active threat in this world for as long as I can remember" he said

Satoshi paused shaking her head "If that can't cut through anything then its not the sword I mean. Though the story could be based on that sword. Stories of great honourable warriors with great swords doing anything from killing dragons to overthrowing an empire are populr in stories over here. But here we are, it looks a bit scruffy on the outside but this is a pretty nice shop to get fabric for"

Felina laughed nodding her head "Thats young ones for you be it a human or an elf or a moogle, want to have a go at anything that they think looks cool. At one point I wanted to be a chef, then an alchemist then a singer then vet and so on. Out of all of those though, looking after animals was the only one that I stuck with"

Hayate scratched his chin trying to remember if he heared Zadina mentioning enchantment "Well it is good business enchanting items if your good at it. Anything to improve your weapon is good money that said. But you need to remember that Zadina is also a gifted child so most people take at least twice as long to develop such sage skills if at all"

Amane nodded petting Merric on the head "Aww thats very thoughtful of you Merric, good boy though something a little more solid would be more appropriate... like that yes" she giggled as a slightly confused chicobo picked up a coin that ws nearby the wrapper. "Dragons are tough and can fly and have sharp teeth but I think Captain Alpha has all that too so who knows"

Meanwhile elsewhere a somewhat dizzy Hebal stumbled off a ride cheering "Whee well that was fun if different"
