Satoshi paused linking arms with Gil "Well if you don't mind I could always check the post and see if anything has been left for me or could stop by the fabric store for more materials and maybe make us both a dragon costume for the festival tomorrow or could take you to see the big war memorial statue" she suggested stopping to let Terrato slither out her bag for a proper look around. "Not many people that I know actually fight for glory but maybe I don't hand around with the right sort of people to witness that"
Felina nodded "Lets hope so though Corella gets excited about any wedding so asks everyone about stuff to do with it, little romantic at heart. But I shouldn't really comment on the desserts as I'm no baker either. I did have a go at it once or twice but I just ended up making the kitchen staff a little mad because I kept burning the food and making a mess"
Hayate laughed "It wasn't so much that they were mad with you, more annoyed at the fact you always left them with such a mess to clean up afterwards with cake mix up the walls and mashed potato on the ceiling and all the rest"

Gil nodded "Sure we can do that would be nice to have a dragon costume for tomorrow but I don't want to trouble you if your gonna be up all night making it" he said as they headed back to the town "Well you live in a ninja village after all, it's expected most of the folks here fight for specific reasons and money" he said.
Oassu smiled shaking his head "Well I'm sure Corella will have a great time when it comes for her own, probably have the biggest one out of all three of you though I'm sure your parents are happy their daughters are doing so well for themselves" he said smugly.
Jeckhart nodded "Like I said it's not at all safe, the lords there are lords as a result of power rather than bloodlines or monarchy" he said as they shuffled down the queue "Supposedly the first Angels that fell from grace landed in the Demon world and it was much like this one, then they used their powers to selfishly shape the world to suit their needs which is why you get such horribly biased realms" he said shrugging "I hardly remember the demon world personally, the Clan operates a programme where Demons seeking salvation and penance for their crimes can be allowed into this world so long as they follow the Clan" he explained "My mother got into this world that way when I was just a chick" he said "We are taught about our homeland anyway in our schooling" he said
Zadina nodded in agreement "That one looks the best yeah I think I'll have one too and I suppose you could be right but I doubt they'd be much older than us, my uncle and father were in the war as was Cap'n Alpha and Miss Seph so it might not be so long for demons" he explained.

Hebal paused for a moment shuffling forward with the queue "Demon lords.... I think I met one of those once. Really grumpy and demanding and I think Seph said she knew one too. Guess she wasn't too impressed with the demon world to travel there only to come back a fews later in the middle of the war but I would never ask her in case I made her mad or anything" she mumbled realising there were only two people in front of them once the ride had been reloaded with people. "So when you say you were a chick, were you all soft and fluffy and covered in little black feathers and could you have been mistaken for just a baby bird? What a lot of people don't know is that baby viera are born hairless and blind but they get cute real fast"
Amane cheered trading over the gil for her icecream "I suppose so but then again demons all look so different and Seph and Alpha don't seem to age right cause mum told me Seph is only half as old as Alpha but she's way younger looking than half. I wonder if any of these demons remember much of their old homes. Maybe I'll ask the captain's daughter when we meet her"

Satoshi shrugged "Well if your on a holiday for the festival you may as well have the whole cultural experience. So if you can just decide whether you want to share a costume or have one all to yourself I'll set the clones to work, a few clones love anything to do with art and would be happy to work on it. and I think you would make a grest dragon"
Felina nodded "Oh yeah my parents aren't mean so sure they are proud of us. I think dad in a way is happy I'm travelling about more doing things though you'll never get him to say how much so because of how I snuck away making him mad. It remains to be seen with Corella but so far we've all inherited his adventurous streak"
"You're not as rebelllious as your dad was when he was younger. Even when he had you and Corella, he would keep asking me to tell him a good way to sneak out of the palace without being chased after by guards trying to stop him. And apparently the whole reason for his extra long pilgrimage was to straighten him up a bit" Hayate laughed.

Gil chuckled "Big six armed dragon sure it'll be fun though I'm perfectly fine sharing a costume with you if it saves you and your clones the hassle" he said "Don't want to harass them all night otherwise they won't like me still lets go to the material shop and get the stuff" he said whistling to Enkidu to hurry up
Oassu nodded "Well good thing too I suppose, though clearly Felina takes after him then" he snickered picking up Tuilinn who had came over to say hello "Well I'm sure your mother would be happy if one of her daughters didn't go running off giving her a heart attack though maybe your little brother will turn out that way" he said.
Jeckhart blushed a little "Well...yes I was just a little fluffy chick really it's not something demons typically like to talk about though I didn't know Viera were born like that, makes me wonder what they look like when really young" he said.
Zadina nodded taking his ice cream and exchanging the gil "Well my understanding is that different demons age at different rates and have different life spans much like races in this world" he said "Though you could ask her later, I wonder what she's like" he said licking his ice cream

Hebal giggled surprised "Aww well in that case I bet you have some really cute baby pictures lying about somewhere with your parents. I don't really have many pictures of Amane when she was that little and the only one I tend to carry around with me is this one" she told him holiding up a picture of a ten year old Amane sitting on a swing but quickly put it away as they were lead to their seats at the front of the ride.
Amane sighed happily licking away at her ice cream now payed for "I dunno, demons children apparently don't always look much like their parents. But personality wise wouldn't it be a little funny if she was just like a female Captain Alpha... but more graceful and stuff being a performer and all. Hehe lets face it Captain alpha isn't exactly circus material"

Satoshi laughed pulling Gil towards one of the back gates to the school "It takes the same amount of time to do either because shared costumes are bigger than individual ones, will see what the clones are like later on I guess before deciding. And hopefully you won't mind the part where you have to dance around in the costume but I'll show you how thats done nearer the time since its not hard. I'm thinking you would make a nice... red and silver dragon "
Felina nodded grabbing hold of some of her hair "My physical appearence is a bit of a giveaway as to who I take after but you never know. While I don't think it is likely, Corella might surprise us all when older and choose to run off travelling about the place since it has so much more freedom. Though if my brother develops a wild like nature then may the gods help whoever is assigned to be babysitter"
"Well the babysitter isn't going to be me again fortunately by the time he gets old enough to do things like that" Hayate quickly cut in before anyone could mention his name "Though I would like to point out that anyone who could handle you roaming off trying to ride marlboros and running around trying to scare the chocobos when you were little, could probably handle anyone that got thrown to them to look after"

Gil nodded "Well sure whatever you think is best but I've got nothing against dancing really but we'll see I bet it'll be great fun" he said "Though poor Enkidu will probably be boggled at what we're all doing dancing around in a dragon costume" he snickered.
Oassu nodded "I imagine your sister will have that burden to bear, she's already been trained in how to rule so she'll probably be the one to pass on the teachings I think." he said "Though agreed you must've been an incredibly tolerant man to deal with her as a kid" he said "Shame you didn't end up babysitting Zadina, he seems much more balanced." he said.
Jeckhart smiled "Well she is just adorable there but I'm sure my parents probably have one or two pictures of me floating around somewhere in the house but demons don't really appreciate being referred to as cute so much, undermines us somewhat" he said before he was ushered onto the front seat "Oh so...how do we strap ourselves in?" he asked seeing no seatbelts.
Zadina nodded kneeling down and offering Merric a bit of ice cream from his finger "Here you go little guy you should have some too" he said looking up at Amane "Well I don't know Captain Alpha could easily do fire eating and juggling I'd bet though it would be kind of cheating if you asked me" he snickered moving away from the queue to let others in behind them

Hebal shook her head raising her arms in the air as the car came down holding them in place "Thats how its done. But you demons shouldn't see being cute as such a bad thing. It may sound a little shallow but the nicer looking ones fit in better with society, like I dunno a demon nanny or maths teacher may scare the kids or a nurse and the patients.
Amane groaned "Oh yes Captain Alpha breathing fire would be totally cheating. I mean any fire demon can do that and hopefully his daughter doesn't do that for her act though what makes you think he would be good at juggling?" she wondered laughing at the happy kwehs coming from Merric. "What act do you think that bunny guy would do, being pulled out of a hat maybe?" she giggled.

Satoshi snickered "Yep probably and Terrato will probably think we're all pretending to be some sort of snake thing like him but I'm sure they'll both have fun in their ways even if its just because everyone throws free food at them for the celebrations. And then the day after we can just rest and i'll have a quiet birthday since everyone else will be all partied out"
Hayate smirked nodding his head "yeah Zadina would be nice and easy to babysit though his mother was such a snob that not just any old filth off the street like myself could associate with her children. Not too nice a woman" he remarked smiling as he spotted Adohand returning balencing several bowls of icecream.
Felina gasped pretending to be offended "I'll have you know that events like that one were just two or three isolated events and most of the time I was good as gold despite some of the really strict teachers I received. Like my Agralian teacher was mean enough to say my Agralian accept just sounded like a dodgy bangaa croaking and at that time I was so tempted to throw my pencil at him but didn't"

Gil nodded "Fortunately Enkidu has become somewhat desensitised to fireworks after all the magic explosions and stuff he's had to see, that or lupine fiends just aren't like dogs and aren't bothered by the noises and lights" he said petting his pet "Can't imagine something as lazy as terrato will enjoy all his sleep being interrupted" he said "Though it's nice I'll get to be here for your birthday" he said.
Oassu smirked "You could probably have gotten away with it fine I reckon you are a princess after all though your Agralian came out fine in the end" he said sitting back from the table allowing Adohand to place the bowl down in front of him as Oassu released Tuilinn to explore "Thanks Adohand looks great" he said
Jeckhart frowned struggling to move his arms to be more comfortable "Right then well I suppose but we are constantly trying to shake of the problems of our demonic nature that's what ascension is all about though that is why we adopt forms from this world" he said once comfortable
Zadina shrugged "Well maybe he can't juggle but I imagine a large part of it is fear of being burned which the Captain wouldn't need to worry about" he said snickering at Amane's suggestion "By that logic you could be pulled from a hat so lets not be mean to the bunny-eared demon" he said happily letting Merric lead them through the carnival as he explored.

Hebal turned her head curious as to what Jeckhart was doing "Theres no point struggling too much, that bar is there to keep you mega secure for the ride and unable to fall off. Though personally I think your clan is a bit...extreme. Like demons are pretty scary and all but for the most part, everyone is a little bit naughty nature wise from time to time and thats what makes is normal. And look at me trying to be all wise, angels are better than demons and much more safe and predictable though they could do with loosening up a bit more"
Amane yawned skipping along after Merric curious as to where she was been taken "Hey I think it would be fun to be part of an act like that if it weren't for the fact that I would then know how its done and spoiling the trick for me. But I don't know about the fear bit, wouldn't it really burn your throat too or at least the inside of the mouth when breathing proper fire?"

Satoshi smirked shaking her head "Oh no probably not but he sleeps too much anyway and needs to get into a habit of being reasonably active at some point so why not start here? My birthday will probably be just waiting around for Alpha to come and pick us up from the town. Though what about you, where are you planning on going/asking Alpha to drop you off at?
Felina laughed "Oh I could not, if dad found out that I was abusing my teachers I would be in seriously big trouble and would have my pocket money and supply of sweets stopped for several months. Though it's funny, when I say pocket money, it was usually more than anyone could ever fit in some form of pocket"
"If she tried her luck with me she would be straight back indoors again" Hayate snickered before giving Adohand a thank you in elvish. "And considering I was the only one who would actually take her outside and away from the desk she chose to be reasonably good with me"
Adohand smiled juggling the last of the bowls onto the table "Agralian is a hard language to understand and different voice sounds such as your own Oassu, can prove to be hard to understand since you can't teach those so well. Then theres the lack of... structure so her teacher cllearly did a good job"

Gil nodded "I'll probably need to move over to the southern continents where some small primarily human and bangaa countries are squabbling, some folks wanted independence from the motherland it would seem, they say the ancient king who carried Excalibur visited those lands shortly before his death, should give me some time to scout through jungles and deserts there" he explained.
Oassu smirked "Surprised you even got pocket money I just expected you'd get whatever you desired if you asked your dad wouldn't expect a princess to have control over money when young otherwise she might buy some silly things like a full sized house for dolls and stuff.
Jeckhart grunted as the ride started with a jolt moving slowly out of the station "Well some may it's extreme but there's a great deal of fulfilment to be gained out of serving a greater cause like ours, plus if even Humans can achieve Ascension maybe you could make a pretty Viera angel someday" he said gripping the bar as the ride started heading up a long slope.
Zadina nodded "That's what I mean I bet since juggling might not be particularly hard and it's a learnable skill the thing that must make it difficult when dealing with fire is the fear that you might burn yourself, otherwise you are just juggling, getting over that probably makes it not too bad" he said licking his ice cream

Hebal cheered waving her arms in the air before the ride had reached its full height "Me an angel? Not likely because to be an angel you have to be all serious which isn't really my style. Besides I think I can look pretty without being an angel with wings though wouldn't say no to flying and...." she trailed off as the ride went up and over the first slope instead shouting out a loud "Wheeeeee" with the people behind her.
Amane rubbed her ear thinking for a moment that she might have heared her mothers voice from somewhere nearby "Maybe they eat lots and lots of ice cream before they perform so they don't feel the heat? Thougb from the sounds of it, fire breathing seems like one of the less danderous jobs. It's dragon taming I would think is more about controling fear"
