Tomo smiled as he gathered the ingredients from the cabinets for his signature chicken noodle soup. "Thanks," He said, swaying his tail a bit at the compliment. "For the record, though. I'm a human. I dunno why I look like this, but..." He shrugged, "I do!" He went back to cooking, "I know Bai has a part snake friend. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to him, yet. But yeah, he's real."

Seeign that Ukaia had subdued the soldier, Kaen retracted her chain, wobbling a little on her feet. "I don't...feel so...good...." she said slowly, her legs giving out as she fainted from emotional- and energy drain.

Yoseph, being the closest, caught the kitsune, lowering her carefully to the floor. He looked up at the others, hoping some one had noticed. "Where is her room?"

Arlen carried Lily back into the Muffin, pausing by Kaen. "I'm sorry," he said softly. "I know you're probably sick of seeing us humans acting stupid."

Arlen smiled at Lily. "Thank you for coming to help," he said softly, knowing she was probably right about him as the drain of using so much magic at once started to take affect.

The guard didn't reply, but sheathed his sword and walked over to help his comrade with the shattered knee. Meanwhile the second spearman was getting to his feet and walked back to the guard Lily had knocked out and lifted him over his shoulder before the captain lead them back to town, dropping the stack of papers to assist in the carrying of his men.

Tomo beamed proudly and stirred his soup, "I'm glad you like it here, Silent... You don't have diversity like this where you come from?" He asked, lifting his head to look at her with an arched eyebrow.

Kaen opened her eyes slightly, confused as to who was holding her. "It's....alright....I should stop getting so worked up over it...." she whispered, struggling to sit up, but Yoseph held her shoulders.

"Don't strain yourself," he said, then lifted her, expecting to he kicked in the head or anywhere else for that matter, but Kaen stayed limp from exhaustion. "Let's get you back inside."

Kaen pushed her hand against his chest. "Put me down, whoever-the-hell-you-are," she said, struggling weakly. Yoseph shrugged and set her down, but kept one arm wrapped around her waist to steady her.

"Is there someone who could look after her?" he asked when they re-entered the Muffin.

"Tomo can," Arlen said, sounding exhausted as he staggered towards the couches with Lily still in his arms. He barely made it there before he collapsed, landing onto the couch with Lily ontop of him. He was out for the night.

Tomo looked down at the soup, "It should be good if I did everything right." he said, lowering the heat a bit. He dished some out into a bowl and handed it to Silent. "How about you taste for yourself?"
