Hi everyone, I'm one of the newer people in the guild. I have a question regarding characters: What's with the designations for "DCU", "Earth-73"... I mean, I sort of understand that a canon character with the "73" bit has an altered backstory, but what about OCs?

Oncaro Hi everyone, I'm one of the newer people in the guild. I have a question regarding characters: What's with the designations for "DCU", "Earth-73"... I mean, I sort of understand that a canon character with the "73" bit has an altered backstory, but what about OCs? New person! Sup. So, we have two main roleplays that take place in the same universe (designated Earth 73): The DC Universe and Young Justice (YJ). Young Justice is kind of a spin-off taking place within the same continuity as our DC Universe roleplay. 'DCU' denotes a character specific to the DCU roleplay, 'YJ' denotes one specific to the Young Justice roleplay, and 'Earth-73' means that the character is played in both the DCU and the YJ rp.

Well SWAT was directly speaking to Black Canary, and basically warned/threatened/promised to take down/arrest any Justice League Member she catches working on the Jigsaw case... as she's pulling a non-lethal grenade off her vest.
