No...not really. I think both our powers might be well suited to this battle, if it arises.

"I am not a nekomata." She said, stopping. "And what are you talking about? I'm in a hurry, places to go, people to see. I can't just loll about here all night now can I?" She crossed her arms and gave him a look that brooked no nonsense.

"Allow me to refresh your memory."
He removed his face mask, revealing a horrid sight of what can only be described as a shotgun blast to the face, stopping the bullet just as it goes a few centimeters into the nose, the flesh around his eyes and mouth singed.

"Oh yeah, that!" Neko said, giggling a bit sheepishly. "I thought you blocked those. Oh well." She shrugged, scratching the back of her in a slightly embarassed manner. "Now if you'll excuse me..." She said, jumping up towards the building that framed teh toher side of the sidewalk and jumped off of it to jump over Ashtar and land behind him, walking off with her tails swinging behind her.
Ewww.....
I've seen worse....

He suddenly had his sword at her throat, the demon bone weapon.
"No. If you can recall, I narrowly escaped your little holy bullets. And now I think it's time I repay the favor. Perhaps some third degree face burns would do nicely."

"Oh, come now." She said innocently. "Surely you don't want to scar my pretty little face, and surely you couldn't have incurred such damage from such a novice demon such as I." Her looked turned sly, slanted eyes half closed. "Or perhaps I'm too fast for you to handle." Her form blurred and faded, leaving nothing.
"Oh yes. Perhaps to fast. Or are you jsut too slow?"

Shadow looked down on Neko and Ashtar from an adjacent building. He considered following this one, out of concern for Asmodai, as well as a mild curiosity as to what the chaotic demon may be up to in the city. At the moment he stayed at a distance, far enough away that he hopefully couldn't be sensed, though he also couldn't hear very clearly. Had Shadow heard the threats Ashtar was making, he would have gone down to interfere by now.

He replaced his mask.
"Yes. You are fast. But I'm not as slow as my moody counterpart either.
Besides, who needs speed, when I can simply go to Asmodai and kill him, making you angry and throwing you off focus."

"How do you know killing him won't kill you as well?" She asked, lounging on a clothes line more than a few stories up off of the ground. "Seems to me that you don't want to admit that you might have trouble fighting me, so you're trying to take the easy way out." Her tone was conversational, but she was twirling a dagger on an upturned palm. "Never pegged you for a chicken, but hey. I'm only seventeen."

Shadow heard that one.
Without a moment's hesitation, the grey skinned demon melted into darkness, emerging from an alleyway on the opposite side of the street with his blades drawn, behind Ashtar, giving him better hearing, as well as a shorter attacking distance.

"Of course I'm insolent. I am my mother's daughter." She whistled a tune, swinging her tails in rhythm. "So differnt from when you were calling me 'sweet Catrina' and saying how you were going to try and suplant Asmodai in my affections. Maybe you're just jealous."
She tossed the knive into the shadows, letting it shadow jump to the shadows behind Ashtar, slamming towards his spine.

A black tenticle rose up from his shadow, grabbing the knife and throwing it at Shadow while several tenticles spread out from him, finding Neko through the shadows around them all.

Neko automatically jumped up off of the wire, pulling the glaive, in ring form, off of her now visible belt. She slammed downtowards Ashtar, glaive extending and the wicked blade set to slice into him.
