Well as long as she doesn't put too much stress on her shoulder Darin =) it'll heal faster...
speakin of which *grimaces* I ******** up my elbow in the shower...banged it hard against the soap stand...I think I might get an olecranon bursitis tomorrow

But I guess the case is different too. *Kisses tightly* ...wait >___> that was wrong ..*takes it back* Ahahahaha *facepalms* Oh bursas are just like fat pads underneath our joints...they cushion our joints, hitting our joints on rough edges causes those fat pads to swell up..hence bursitis. Anything ending in '-itis' means inflammation. In this case, the olecranon joint is inflammed.

Carbon dioxide + water through carbonic anhydrase makes carbonic acid, which in turn spontaenously dissociates into a proton and a bicarbonate ion. It's our body's way of regulating carbon dioxide transport in the blood stream, regulating oxygen transport as well as maintaining acid-base balance. An increase in carbon dioxide shifts the equation to the right (according to Le Chatelier's principle), resulting in an increase in hydrogen = increase in acidity. But it also makes bicarbonate, which is used a buffer against that acidity. That's like the tip of the iceberg x_x; there's a lot more to that equation
