I wishwishwishwishWISH I could dye my hair a fun color. I never got the chance, though. When I was in elementary/middle/high school, my school had a very strict dress code and any unnatural hair colors would have gotten me sent home every day, and I started working when I was 16 and there are very few places that will let you have fun hair colors. Maybe one day I'll find one. ^.^
Most dyes that I've used are around 20+ minutes to set, though you can leave them on longer. I almost always use semipermanent stuff because I'm afraid to death I'll find a permanent color that will have some weird interaction with my hair and dye it some funky puce green or something. xD

Aww, I know what you mean.
I'm kind of tempted to dye mine a fun color, buuut, that thing where they want you to look professional and not have crazy haircolor/piercings/tats kills that temptation.
Ahah, I suppose that is safer than it turning up really weird.
But you could always dye another color over the puce green? xD

I hate "professionalism." Seriously, I'd be just as good a worker if I had neon red hair with teal streaks. Society is so biased about things like that. Besides, I work overnight, it's not like I run into a whole lot of people to scare off.
I would dye and re-dye it, but it's such a time consuming process that I'd just get lazy and call in sick one day before I fixed it the next. It may only take 30 minutes for the dye to set, but a lot of the time you have to mix it, and then condition your hair, and then clean up whatever is busy dyeing the walls and floor of your bathroom. Believe me, you can try to be careful, but you will always dye part of your bathroom whatever color you're trying to get your hair. And odds are, it will stick better to the bathroom than it sticks to your hair. xP

Ugghh, I know. It seems kind of trivial.
I understand wanting you to clean up nice, but you can still clean up nice and have lip and eyebrow piercings and rainbow hair. =A=;

Oh gosh, that really is time consuming process.
I don't know if I'm motivated enough to do it myself. xDD

There's a job opening I was going to apply for quite close to me where they encourage the workers to dye their hair crazy colours... but I don't want to dye it to impress them at the interview, and then have to redye it if I don't get the job xD

Go along to the job interview anyway and then dye your hair if you get the job? (that would be such an awesome place to work! My work would kill me if I dyed my hair some crazy colour crying )
