This is just US history from BC to 1870... So... You've got to take everything with a gain of salt but my teacher's first words were, "By today's standards, our ancestors were drunk, rude, lazy, predicious, sexist, racists. You are descended from these people. And in this class your going to learn how much we have changed."

we arent as bad as tv makes us seem, we are good people who are given a bad rap because of how the whole picture is not always shown

Our history books usually start from a little more than a thousand years ago to the present(and since our books are usually old, 'present' is usually up to around the 1970's).

my favorite history teacher taught us about mostly propaganda, and how it influenced events
its fun to spend time with her becuase she continued to show you things and you are like omg dude....

I wasn't sure if I should put this in the absence thread since I don't have a lot of rps and I wasn't sure if people check that…anyway, I'm not gonna be posting a lot this weekend until late Sunday or even maybe until Monday.
