CrazyRob I hadn't heard about that before about the bath houses. *holds off on tattoos so I can take baths in Japan whenever I want* 4laugh That's just the public bathhouses I am sure there are more private ones that done give a damn about tatoos and/or cater to Gaijin (foreigners) surprised and gyms are like that too? Chibi Hiei! At the Disco Sindeira Yeah, the Japanese bath houses are firmly against marking up your body.. or at least that's how it was. With lolita fashion being the tip of the iceburg, their culture becomes confusing reall' quick. It still is.
This one girl I know said it's really hard looking for a gym that accepts tattoos (mainly because she thinks there isn't). She said her tattoos are pretty easy to cover up, so she doesn't have to worry, but she's worried about her boyfriend not being able to go to any of the gyms there.
That's weird about the gyms because a lot of Americans go to Japan to wrestle and I'm sure a lot of them have tattoos and need to work out while they're there.

Cool biggrin and Rob you're right about Americans going to wrestle but if they go to do that I am sure they have their own gyms provided by the leauge I guess Hiei meant like public gyms. Cause I guess the whole point of the tattoo taboo around Japan is that the Yakuza and Triads (Japanese and Chinese mafia respectively) are notorious for having large tatoos as seen on samurais, and I guess so people wont freak out they ban people with tattoos from public areas like gyms and bathhouses to make some excuse to keep out those kind of people, I am sure you'd freak out if you were in the same room bathing or working out near a Yakuza sweatdrop
