Mhm. ^^ At least I've had one happy ending if nothing else. And come to think of it, if that entire ordeal never happened, I probably wouldn't have been more comfortable with myself to be more expressive and whatnot.
Gosh. My experiences with Gaia have been rewarding to say the least... and I've had quite a few.

Yessum, it is. : D The funny thing is, when I first joined back in 04, it wasn't even because I wanted to-- I only joined because a couple friends I had at the time were joining as well. I largely ignored Gaia for over a year before I really got active on the site, and yet it's because of Gaia that I made friends with so many awesome people that I never would have otherwise (two of which I've physically met.) <3

I joined because a friend of mine showed me and I thought it looked cool.
I've only ever met people on Gaia physically BEFORE getting their Gaia screennames. .-.

I member when I joined, back in 03 I think it was. I saw my brother posting and decided to join the site, I had absolutely no clue what a forum was or about Rps, my posts were lame and just plain bad. I like to think I've come a long ways, but I don't think so sweatdrop . But this place is probably the only reason I'm still on Gaia. Can't imagine what I'd do without you guys.

Let's see, since we're on the topic of Gaia. I joined Gaia when I was a freshman at college (a little less than three years ago), just because my friend had an account and she said it was awesome. Joining was pretty pointless though, since I had nothing to do on it.
It wasn't until sophomore year that I became deeply depressed from school, to the point that I really, really needed to escape reality. I first tried to do that by joining a DnD group, but that didn't work well.
So, being the Google savage that I was, I decided to see if Pokemon-based RPs existed. I hit dead site after dead site, getting more and more depressed and thinking how pathetic I was to chase a dream of role-playing my favorite childhood game.
*le sigh* And then I searched Gaia and found the Gaian Pokemon Academy, which led me to the TTR. Jeez, I must've made the corniest, most passionate acceptance letters I could muster, both for the GPA and the TTR sweatdrop . That being said, I haven't regretted joining at all. It gave me the break from reality I needed, and I'd say getting to know you guys was an added bonus. wink

On a side note, I'd like to ask you guys a favor for whoever is interested: I don't know if you guys have heard of it, but there's a new online Pokemon game in the making called Pokemon Online. The project itself is quite old, having been started and restarted by different game development teams, but as of now it's back up and planning to release some time at the end of the year (though not guaranteed). I've read up on their game concepts and it shows a good amount of promise, so I've become a member on their forums and have helped out a bit with their incomplete Wiki. Getting to the point, members of the forum are usually asked to join one of the various teams which will work together in-game once the game comes out (like the players' versions of Team Rocket, Aqua, Rangers, etc.). Since I helped out with the Wiki, I joined the Wiki-lead's Team PsyFlame, which sadly only has 3 members, including me. So, since I'm pretty much an Admin for the team, it's my job to look for recruits. So, if you're interested, here's the main website: Pokemon OnlineCheck it out, and if you want to join, just register for the forum and go to the Team Psyflame thread under Teams in the forum. The leader's name is Bluarachnia if you need to PM him. Sorry for the block of text; I just thought it would be cool to have some people I know on my team. PS: In case you're curious, Team Psyflame members are expected to use Pokemon teams with a mix of Psychic and Fire-type Pokemon, hence the name.

pfft, now if there was a team of ice and poison, I'd be all up on that son'monkey. But it does sound like something worth looking into.

You guys, I am SO sorry I haven't been on. My RP partners stopped posting completely, and I'm so buried in RL that I haven't been able to get on much. I'm just incredibly sorry, and don't remove me from the list please. >.<
However, I don't think Kira of Flames plans to continue the RP.. But once I motivate starrystarberry again we will both be back. I promise.

I'm not gonna lie. The only reason I joined Gaia was cuz I was bored outta me freakin' skull. As for TTR, well...thought I'd give it a shot. Max nearly crapped himself when I said I wanted to join. xD I wish I coulda told him in person, his expression would have been a moment I would have treasured forever.
