Chris Powell The baton/knife fight in the alley was amazing. I really like Donnie Yen. He was good in Seven Swords too. Donnie Yen is totally bad a**. He's had amazing fight scenes with Jet Li in Hero and Once Upon a Time in China 2. He was awesome in Iron Monkey. His fight with Adrian Paul in Highlander: Endgame was the highlight of the film. Jing Yu, the other guy in the knife/baton fight was in a really fun movie called Drunken Monkey. It's a hoot.

Technologist Tony Stark I love that you use the original title. I'm just a purist, having taken ten years of French. xd The copy I have of it is from the import shop so that's the only title I've known it by.

Oh, Jaeger, I wanted to tell you, my LCS has a copy of a hard back Finder book. It's $30, but I'm broke. As soon as I can, I'm gonna get it.

Technologist Tony Stark Jaeger_Ayers Technologist Tony Stark Jaeger_Ayers Technologist Tony Stark I finally saw Oldboy, Jaeg. Good, but <******** up. But in the end, love conquered all. There's no emoticon to express how messed up that statement is. HAH. True. Hallway fight. Your thoughts? Well, it was definitely impressive, but it lost a bit of it's shine being put straight up against Hard Boiled, Eastern Promises, and A History of Violence. It was definitely a very unorthodox fight by asian movie standards, which I think was why it succeeds so well. I was floored that they got that many guys in that tight a space and did a completely "no cut" fight scene that brutal. I mean after watching the crappy editing in the fight scenes in Bourne movies it was such a breath of fresh air.

Holy s**t, a comic shop actually carrying a Finder book? *Faints* It's a good hardcover. It contains both Sin-Eater trades and "Fight Scene" which is the only issue that had not been previously collected and one of my favorite comics that I've read.

Or until now. xd

Holy s**t, a comic shop actually carrying a Finder book? *Faints* There's a reason they've been nominated for the Eisner Spirt of Comic Retailer Award (pretty sure that's what it's called, anyway) the past three years. And come close to winning every year.

Holy crap, totally. gonk Brutal is really the only accurate descriptor there.
And I've seen an "Eight Crazy Women" Finder trade in one of my old LCS in N. Texas. ninja ...I didn't get it, though, because I suck. emo

*Drums fingers*
Now I'm all fired up for Cassie's contest. I've had a ton of completely insane ideas rolling through my skull all day and I'm saving them all up to unleash on something prose. I've just been in the mood lately to unleash something creatively the psychic backlash of which would jar the universal mindpool and cause Grant Morrison to blink uncontrollably for ten seconds without the use of drug and make him wonder what the hell just happened. I want to make Warren Ellis lose his train of thought with my brain.
