Deity, you gonna post anymore in our match tonight? Also, with your permission, I'll probably time-jump if my friend comes to RP tonight, so that outside the Gym thread is considered "present", or post-fight.

Personally, I believe this tournament shall never end. Seriously, a clear-cut victor ain't happening. For a number of reasons.

What's wrong with that thread, you may ask?
Oh.. nothing more than the fact that, it's been around for nineteen days - and in that time, the fight has not began. They've been talking.
"I'm listening, hun."
At this rate, they won't begin the fight until August. If we're lucky. And lord knows when it'd be finished; and, naturally, the next round of the branch cannot begin until all current matches are closed.
2. Clash - the joke characters are cool and all. [The Cookie Monster, Jesus/Ninja-kin, Seargent Peppers, "Bubbuh", etc..] But, it ruins the tournament entirely. =P
SURE, it's cool when a joke character clashes with a joke character. But what happens when one of these characters meets with a serious/actual character? Yeah, Mr. T and Jesus fighting, teeheehee-but when we have people in this for the gold/actually wanting to roleplay, and they have to put up with their character being off'd by an infinite-stamina Cookie Monster? That's when it gets damned stupid, and it throws the balance of the tournament off. =P
Even only having certain branches allow the Joke characters is a problem, since eventually, members of each branch will be in the finals.

I dunno what you could do about it now, but Clash - you've gotta realize, "round II", "round III", etc. of most of these branches.. are going to come maaaany months from now. The finals? I can see happening, oh.. around Christmas? IF Santa's not PMS'ing? domokun
Add onto this, the time for people in OOC to b***h at eachother to rise, and the inevitable amount of people whom'll up and quit the tournament entirely - 1k gold paid or no - and you obviously, have an issue. =P That be all.

I have entered two joke characters and they both can play entirely serious. Oelden, the Chaos Elemental, is one of these. He's a joke, that is true, but he';s also damned fun to play.
As for Cole vs Dreslin's "Goku," if he accepts the terms and conditions, the fight will be over in ten posts, regardless.
