Lady Blodwynn Lt. Brookman Got tired of waiting, bought a copy of Pariah, going to burn through it like bad food through a colon. Welcome to last month, let me know when you are done, so I can finally ask some questions. I'm twenty pages in and I'm already suffering from a severe case of WTF is this s**t. Either Abnett is setting this up as another curve ball or he's hard at work ignoring the established background found in Eisenhorn.

Okay, finished Pariah laaaaaaaate last night after watching a shitshitshit movie. Loads of references to the previous novels and in the end, the WTF opening made sense.

As mentioned elsewhere regarding Pariah.. Damn as in, nicely done Abnett, you've restored some of my faith and DAMN, I hope you know what you are doing, as this is a lot you are setting up for the other novels. Also, unlike the previous novels, this one really is setting up a lot and does not work as a stand alone work, unlike Xenos and Ravenor.

* Tee-Hee-hee* I've had my copy of Pariah read a couple of months ago. Black Library accidentally sent out a few copies early and I snagged one.

My copy of the Imperial Infantryman's handbook just now dropped in. Interesting to own as a Guard player, but sadly, adds nothing new to the mix. Oh well, c'est la vie non?
