Rei groaned softly as she started to wake up 'ugh what happen..." she muttered softly in japanese.

"You're awake." Seto had taken away his control and now stepped away from the group, though out of Rei's grasp. "The great pharaoh has decided to spare your life and not kill you where you sit." He looked rather irritated at that. He pointed at her, his eyes narrowed, his hands free of blood. "You have killed his daughter, his only child, in a vain attempt to help yourself. We shall now judge you though it is as plain as the blood that stains your hands that you were the one that killed her."
Atem couldn't even look up from the floor to her. He hated to be weak like this, for he had to be looked upon as a living god, and nobody would want to see their leader like this. His cheeks were damp with tears, and he felt very hollow inside. Amenitré... it pained him to even think of her name. He decided that it had been his daughter's own will that made her want to change her name. When the funeral ceremony was taking place, he would order them to call her by her new name. Mkhait.

Rei blinked as she looked at her hands.Anyone could see the confusion on her face.Of corse she wasent speaking in aribic at the moment "...Why the hell am I all bloody..." She muttered before everything snaped back to her.Her eyes filled with anger as she got to her feet "YOU!" she she glared at seto then switched to aribic once she relised she was speeking japanese "YOU!You monster!You set me up!" she yelled angerly at seto.

"First you murder the pharaoh's daughter and now you accuse one of his priests of doing it?" Priest Seto roared, narrowing his eyes. "Well, that is just what we should expect from the companion of the thief Bakura. Why should we take your word on anything?"

"Priest Akhenaden..." The pharaoh spoke up in a low voice. The old man glanced over at him. "Please use your Millennium Eye to see into this girl's mind... See if she is telling the truth." No matter what Bakura and Rei said against the pharaoh, he would not stand for an unfair punishment. He had to make sure Rei had been the one.
Akhenaden nodded his head and turned towards Rei, his Millennium Eye glowing. He could see that she had not been the one to kill Mkhait, but Seto was his son. If he said that Seto was lying, Seto would be punished. "She has killed Mkhait." He announced after a moment. "I saw the truth."

The corners of her eyes willed with tears "I did not!I did not harm that poor child!I could never harm a child!" she said. She then looked to Akhenaden "your lying!I know you saw the real truth!That monster!" she said pointing to seto "He killed her!"

Akhenaden's eye widened at this accusation. "How dare you! The Priest Seto has been faithful to the great pharaoh for many years. He would never do such a thing!" He turned towards Atem. "Pharaoh, you must stop this girl's lies. Send her to the dungeons for others to deal with. We an ensure that she will pay dearly for her sins!"
Atem looked up at Rei, his own eyes pooling tears in the corners of his eyes. He saw Rei's unshed tears, and wondered if there could truly be an actor so good that they could fake all of this. He rose to his feet, stumbling slightly, as his grief had weakened him physically. He walked over to her, ignoring the priests as they protested to him going to close. Atem came close enough to put a hand on Rei's shoulder, which he did. He truly looked miserable. "My daughter... The dearest thing in my life... has just been killed. Her body is lying in the other room, growing colder and colder as time passes. And now you are asking that I condemn one of my priests-- one of the most loyal servants I have had-- for her death. You, however, are an accomplice of Bakura's, a thief who has stolen from my father's tomb, dragged his mummy through the city, and wreaked havoc almost everywhere he goes. Can you understand why I am having trouble right now?"

Rei looked to him.Her eyes wernt filled with hate as they were ealier but filled with saddness "I know I could never posably feel the pain you are going thru loosing your child but you much understand..I loved her as well..She was like my own..She looked up to me and loved me..." she said "When your priest stoped me on his horse Mkhait sudenly wanted to go with him,to be brought back to her papa.As much as I wanted to hold onto her and keep her as my own I let him take her.I just wanted her to be happy even if that ment letting her be with you." tears started to roll down her cheaks "I wanted him kill her...And there was nothing I could do...And he acts like nothing happened..like he dident just kill an innocent child who did nothing wrong!I wanted her to grow up happy...And now she dosent get to grow up at all.."

The pharaoh brushed away Rei's tears with his thumb, then turned to go back to his throne. "Priest Kalim... Please weigh Rei's soul with your scales." He said. Perhaps this would help. After a moment's hesitation, he glanced over at Priest Seto. "And Priest Seto's as well."
Seto gawked at the pharaoh. "Great pharaoh... surely you cannot be serious! I would rather have taken my own life than that of someone you hold dear! This girl has killed her, I have seen with my own eyes!" He exclaimed as Kalim stepped forward, holding up his Millennium Scales. Suddenly a guard burst into the throne room.
"Your highness... The thief Bakura has been captured. A messenger from the village of Hai'um has just come with the news. They are bringing him to the palace as we speak. Do we have the order to kill him?" The guard knelt as he spoke, addressing the ground before him instead of looking up at the pharaoh.

The pharaoh hesitated, but it didn't take much thinking. "Bakura had been the one to take Mkhait from me in the first place... None of this would have happened if he hadn't done that." He turned towards the guard. "Tell them that they have my permission to kill instantly. I don't want to risk him escaping."
Seto smirked slightly. Evey though he wasn't aware of it, he still had a mind link with Rei, and for the moment she would be able to hear his thoughts. 'This really couldn't have come out any better... When I had planned on killing the little brat, I knew he might have been suspicious of me, but when the filthy thief had taken her, he spared me of having to come up with a more complicated story.' He had been planning to kill Mkhait from the start.
