Holly was thrown off balance by the counter-attack and nearly lost her seat on the back of the couch. She watched as the barriers went up around the group and opened her mouth to say something when she caught sight of Violet.

She gave Violet a curious look, wondering why precisely she was hovering outside the window, scanning over everyone's faces. As she continued to look at Violet with curiousity, she replied to Dream, "No, Dream, I'm afraid I don't know any teleportation. But, I do have light and heat at my disposal. I can use those to help with the barriers if you need me to."

Happy to have 'eaten' And now rid of a particularly unpleasant memory, Steffen felt down right chipper. He pulled a long red hair off of his clothes, twiddling the thread between his fingers and disregarded it.

He stood, stretching and glanced around. In the midst of Delcia and Steffen chance meeting they had plummeted back to the earth and romped atop a brick building. He allowed his red eyes to drift over the the small heap of rubble they had created when landing, spotting the edges of her wings as they peeked out of the wreckage. he grinned, kissing the tips of his fingers and simply stepped off the building to find the demon he lad lost.
" I'll see you in the lake of fire, m'dear."

Now it was time to find this deceptive demon who had so brazenly attacked an angel.
He dropped to the street bellow, wings retracting into his back with a painful crunching sound. There was the gaze of terrified humans all around, some scurrying inside as he approuched, other just pressing to cars of walls in fear.
" This world is ever dull... Ahh... Some sort of mayhem is taking place." He was giddy to find out exactly what was going on, what was filling the air with so much blended magic.
He pursed full lips and tried connecting to Violet.
'Do you feel it?" he asked, knowing she would know exactly what he was talking about if she could. 'report darling sister'

It was muffled because of the barrier but Violet could hear what Leila had said. For a moment, she smirked like her old self, but the look that replaced it looked tired.
"Yes, because I did so well the first time," she replied sarcastically. Hearing Steffen speaking in her head she cursed. She wanted to ignore it but he'd probably annoy her so she went for the next best thing.
'I'm busy, idiotic lord.' she replied

Dream stared at Violet. If she had attempted to kill them just now, which would have had Aysel most definately want to leave as soon as possible, then why was she not doing anything now? It didn't make sense. He thought about it, trying to think of all possibilities. Were there any demons he knew that have met at least one member of the group whom he had forgotton about? There was one, he was sure... What was his name? Remiel? He hadn't seen him in a long time, so it was possible he had done something. There was a chance. And Steffen was, he imagined, more preocupied with other, larger, matters. Which he had to stop eventually, but if he died, then he couldn't help others anymore, and if one of his friends died, then he would have failed his duty even more so.

So, Steffen couldn't be ruled out, but it wasn't likely he attacked them. Aysel shot the counter-spell, obviously she didn't attack. Violet could have, but if she did, then odds are she would be continuing. The only conclusion he could come to was that it was someone else, either Remiel or someone new. Going to the window, he saw Violet more clearly, and she was with someone else - Remiel. He rolled his eyes. Perfect. Absolutely wonderful.

But there was some good in this. Apparently Violet had stopped Remiel from attempting to destroy them all. So there was some good in her. Just not much. He looked back at the others. "Actually, I think I was wrong. We may not have to leave. But I'd keep my power ready to use if I were you." With that, he lowered the intensity of his defense, but still kept it up, so that he could reinstate it at a moment's notice. "Anyone have any ideas?"

Leila placed the now empty plate on the floor and hugged her knees to her chest. "It would be best to create some kind of illusion that we were still in here, reacting to what just hapened, along with the barrier, and find some way outside to take care of them." It was all she could come up with, and it would probably backfire, but at least she felt better with providing some kind of help.
She watched the demon-cat out of the corner of her eye to see if it would react to anything just said or what would further happen.

Aysel was torn, she could teleport out of here and had no qualms about leaving the others to their rather grizzly end if that barrier didn't hold. However then whoever had done the green spell in the first place would get the angel which she had her sights on. And Aysel could be very protective over her 'playthings' when she wanted to be. Finally she decided on a plan of action and transported out of the barrier and onto the windowsill, and glared at Remiel then looked over at Violet and leapt from the window and on to Remiels shoulder.

"What in the hell do you think you are playing at" she hissed at him "I'm working in there, go and find your own group of mortals."

Steffen felt the hair on the back of his next bristle. Idiotic lord?! SHE was calling him such a thing? the good mood that had come form feeding was quickly gone, replaced by a stiff new resolve to teach some manners to this entire rotten planet.
"Very well then sister...I shall come to you." he said, more to himself than any one else. The painful cracking sound was heard again and the previously seen wings pushed their way out of his back. He pumped the appendages hard, flying high over head to catch a wind thermal. Red eyes blazing now he scanned the horizon, looking for what he desired and upon not immediately finding it, began to simply fly as he sensed the merging of powers to be coming from. He cursed at the slow reaction time he was exhibiting and made proper note to remind himself that getting 'angry' would not serve him very well... though make him feel exponentially better.

Curse his having to deal with such creatures.. there it was now. He was seeing red now, eyes swimming in the sea of crimson.
Immediately upon landing the demon prepared a spell, unleashed it upon a random direction and watched as humans hiding in the area screamed out in agony. The deaths he sensed made his temper cool a small bit. Gnashing teeth together he, stood silently and examined the scene...

"A new player to our game.. attacking eh? "
He turned his attention to the building now, the point of the merging of so many magics. Much calmer now Steffen wrapped his wings around his neck, as one would wear a cloak, keeping an attack in the back of his mind.
There was Violet, conversing with the group she had come from. He frowned, more of a look of distaste than anything else.

"An interesting development" was all he said, announcing his presence.

Leila's plan sounded fairly well to Liam, it actually had the potential to work. But when the demon girl teleported to the windowsill he was caught off guard. "We can't trust her," he said quietly, "If she was using that spell to protect herself then why would she go out of the barrier and confront him?" He asked, not requiring an answer from anyone. But before he could say anything more, the cross on his hip began to have a burning sensation, as well as the markings on his arms, which were starting to glow red again. Potential fear struck his eyes, not for himself, but for the cat in his arms. There was no doubt that Steffan was near, and if he spotted the cat glowing brightly in Liam's arms, he would most likely go out of his way to try and kill it. "We need to think of something quickly, the enemies keep increasing in quantity."

"Right." Dream paced the floor, deep in thought. "Let's see... we can't trust anyone over there. We're the strongest when we're together, so unless anyone has any objections I suggest we stick together, or split into two groups at the very maximum. Illusions would definately help a lot, too." He glanced at Haucon. "It's your apartment. You've got the illusionary power. Do you have any ideas on a way to trick them?"

Violet cursed, loudly. She suddenly found herself stuck in the middle of something that would most likely get her killed. Staring at Aysel she hissed,
"They are mine! They always will be! What fun is it to destroy a planet if there is no one around to witness it! Humans are pathetic creatures, they'd soon accept the change, they would not resist out of fear." With a shaky breath she shook her long dark hair.
"But this group...they'd fight back, fight back until there was nothing left." Violet's eyes suddenly seemed to grow far wider, either with realisation or madness, it was difficult to tell. With a high pitched scream of frustration she swooped down to stand facing Steffan. She seemed more feral then before, her breathing slightly heavier and her eyes darker. A confused chaos demon bent on survival, enough to make any human cry in fear.

((Sorry, guys, I'm probably not gonna be on as often for a while- not because of my schedule, for once, but because I'm having issues with my computer. cry ))

Holly looked at the group. She couldn't do too much and also.... A sad look came over her face. She had the feeling that all of this was her fault somehow. For being an angel. For existing when she shouldn't be here. Her wings drooped a bit as well, but she just continued to watch the others, waiting for a plan.

When the opportunity arose, she would leave them. And hope that trouble would follow her and leave them alone.

Leila's eyebrow raised in confusion as she saw Violet scream and charge at the others who were supposedly on her side. "Maybe we don't have to trick them after all, Dream. They seem to be taking care of each other without our involvement."
Leila's attention turned to the cat in Liam's arms and a gentle mewing sound, and gestured for it to come over. "Everything's ok, kitty..."

Holly could only watch, her eyes suddenly burdened with such solemnity. She watched the cat, noticing how it had started to glow brightly. Curiousity now flooded into her eyes, hiding the solemnity somewhat.

Liam watched the activity outside the window in confusion. This was all so complex, it was unexpected. He walked a couple steps over to Leila, letting her coo to Lucky. He noticed Holly staring at the cat, curiousity showing on her face. Was he th only one who noticed the light before? If so why would they notice now?

((come on, people. Why is this slowing down?))

Leila stood up and started petting the cat, hoping it would calm it down further. "Either we stay here and wait for them to finish each other and deal with whoever survives, or we get out of here while they're distracted. Glancing over at Holly, she could sense her emotions and smiled a bit.
"None of this is your fault, so don't blame yourself," she whispered.
