"I guess we should head out, huh Katie?" Madison looked over at the larger woman and had a grin on her face, she was very much excited to be heading out. Even though considering the risks, it was about time that they got moving, she was tried of sitting around.
Madison got up from her chair and began to walk towards the door, their adventure to Reen was about to begin. And she couldn't wait.

"Hmm?"
Katie glanced over to Madison after listening to Rage. She gave a nod. They really did need to get moving if they wanted to catch up with everyone later. She retrieved the torn paper from Sun before raising from her seat.
"Should we bring anyone with us or do you think it'll be quicker with just us two?"
She asked Madison as she neared the door.
Something told her the bunny would be a lot quicker than her, but Katie was only carrying a sword. It wasn't like she couldn't try to keep pace. It will probably just take a little longer with her tagging along, but the Amazon thought that it'd be a good idea for Madison to have some company as opposed to going at it alone.

Reiyvian grinned as Sun smacked her hand and leaned forward speaking under her breath, although there would be more than one person present who would be capable of hearing her despite the hushed tone.
"Including me."
"Oh, rest assured. Of that you have proven yourself in abundance."
She didn't tug at her hand. She didn't strike back. Reiyvian didn't strike others. She just smiled at him and waited for him to take his hand from hers. Her voice didn't change pitch or give in to anger either.
Oh, but she did wonder just what was in the Salamander's head. Questions could wait, and were best not asked in front of those who seemed to hold a sort of faith in him.
All in good time.
If he'd seen fit to unhand her, she'd wander over to the table where the two Raven's sat.
"You may want to suggest that each of their groups take a healer. They may listen better to you Rae, Hono."

Rae and Hono alike made a very unladylike snort and laughed slightly at that suggestion, Hono looked up from trying to brush her hair to glare at Sun across the room, and Rae turned the same look on Damion as they both stated what was on their minds about that last bit of Rei's suggestion. "Most people do not listen to me..."
Rae went on to finish the statement. "...Even when what I say is for their own good!"
Hono shook her head and shrugged before returning to brushing her hair into some semblance of order. "We will go where we are needed, if we are needed... Rae, this is Lady Reiyvan... Lady Reiyvan this is Hono Raven."
"Call me Rae, or Raven...She can be Hono'o..." Rae nodded to the other Raven, but she didn't extend a hand at the greeting looking down to tug at the loose ends of her black ribbons.

Madison looked around not entirelly sure if they needed anyone else with them, she only could smile back at her. She didn't really have a preference if anyone else came, after all she knew that the two of them would probably be the first ones there anyways considering the speed factor the two of them might have.
"I think we can just go, unless if you want to bring someone along." She looked back at the group, she wasn't entirelly sure if anyone really wanted to go. But she did however notice that the one known as Rage had already stepped up and was ready to go on his own adventures.
"Unless Mr. Grumpy Greenhead wanted to tag along." She indicated to the green haired man. If he was allowed to give her nicknames, than so could she. But he had already made his way upstairs to gather some equipment, so their was a need for a wait.
But Madison looked around to see if there was anyone else wanted to go, and yet she wasn't entirelly sure if there was anyone was really wanting to go with her.

"Rage?"
Katie was almost positive he was the only green haired fellow besides the other man that appeared, but that man hadn't offered to take people for a ride.
"Let's wait to ask him. He probably just had to retrieve something. I'm sure he'll be back in a moment. I wouldn't want to knock down help if we could get it. There's no telling what we might encounter. If it's anything like what I saw at the stadium we might have a lot on our plates going out alone. Plus, he did offer a flight. We could get there a lot quicker than everyone else."
She glanced back towards where the green haired guy had ran off to.
"I would go look for him, but I don't know my way around the bar.."
While they waited she looked down at the torn part of the map that Sun had given her. It would be good to get an idea which way they should head off to first. She didn't want to be ill prepared.

It was all moving so fast! It had been quite some time since Maximos had anything to do with saving any amount of any world. People were talking, gesturing, it seemed like after each breath Maximos took there was a thousand things that need be said.
"Ice! Loads of ice, and snow, s'not really habitable, believe me, I've stayed-been, been there." Sunstrike looked sideways at Wulf, then shook his head.
"People can't go there."
Maximos didnt remember Guldor only the bits and pieces given him as part of duty. But there was more. Wasnt there? Sun was there, and by his face you'd think it was a soft topic. But for Maximos it was something else entirely, his face evened as out the red head squashed it. Cold anger subsiding. Only to have Katie bring a frown back.
"Alpha..."
The name called Maximos' immediate attention away from Sunstrike. The thought that followed brought a bad taste to Maximos' mouth and reminded him of questions he couldnt find answers to just yet. He looked at Katie with solemn yet entirely understanding eyes. Yes. If there was a Shadelord here they were all in for trouble. But before speaking a word found Sunstrike's reaction calling his eyes away.
"You guys met HIM?! THERE?!"
Some of us fought him there.
He said, in a sort of serious tone. It was sort of like a Phantom Limb, but Maximos could still feel the score across his back and arm, blending well with the memory of exactly what it felt like to be at ground zero for a massive explosion such as that. He didnt say anymore on the subject.
"What I miss?"
Mr. Mathadius!
He called out, leaning back from the table with a wave.
Welcome back, you had me a bit worried for a bit there.
That was accounted for. It still left two others that could be anywhere in the world. Quin seemed geared up, and ready to go, he made a note of it.
"Thank goodness my name's not people," Lazenca chided. "If there's--
That topic again. Maximos immediately snapped back in an uncharacteristic display of agitation.
Its dead Lazenca. Nothing but ruins left of a man who tried to break the system, and had to be dealt with.
To which he added.
Killed. Maybe you can take the cold but the refugee's cannot.
He hated the fact that he was made to do that. That from all he saw in fragmented memory the man was pure and wholesome save for a single mis-giving that he was made to die for. Such was the way of death, cold and unforgiving. For a Reaper Assassin, there is no justice. But that anger wasnt for Mr. Miranda, and because of that he lifted his hand up to adjust his glasses on his face and said...
I'm sorry. That was quite rude.
Anuksu was speaking, Maximos immediately looked with sharp eyes that could have easily pierced the back of his head. But the man didnt speak of beauty or drop suave lines to woo Lucind into his castle. He spoke of regret. He spoke of pain. Hope. For a moment Noir looked away, and Maximos could have sworn he saw a glimmer of light in the vampires soul...he wouldnt forget that.
"Agreed."
But there were other things to be concerned with. Despite all else, Maximos hadnt the time to be warm and huggy and loving. No one here did. But he had a smirk, that said it was good to see her back. And he was sorry she had to go. They'd have to talk later.
Meanwhile it seemed Quin and Katie were talking, passing along the briefing. Which still left...
"How do you do that?"
Suddenly Ravens! Two of them! Maximos grinned from ear to ear, glad to see they were alright. But arguing between themselves and likely better not disturbed at least not yet. Still, he had to thank them...Or at least Rae, and ask what he had missed while unconscious and to apologize for his previous....incivility. He tossed a wave over calling them both over to the table.
""THIS is where you all need to be. Go in groups, it's less conspicuous. -"
Why was the little girl with the Gaurdian Angel suddenly on the table acting in charge? It smacked of a child pulling a parents leg and shouting loudly. But by her vocabulary, Maximos got the hint that there was likely more too her than he expected. Maybe more than met the eye. He took the time to pull out his Deathwatch, open it, and face it toward her. And was immediately gifted with her name, true age, and expected time of death as per its function.
Sun slammed the table, countering her.
Oh my. She's quite a little thing isnt she?
Somehow, Maximos was proud that even without his eye's magic and with her true age he had still properly guessed that she was a little girl. Or still a little girl. They did need a Guardian Angel. But they didnt need a little general. And just as quick she was off with the Raven's.
Maximos fished around in his vest pocket, and pulled out a vial full of black liquid. And then said.
Damion.
And swished the liquid around. Big eye, destructive power beyond reason. The shoe fit.
This, is what you fought. A Shadelord. We're looking into the details.
He slipped the vial back.
I'll get back to you when we have a moment study the sample.
Groups were forming, people were gather. This place was actually working. Maximos felt equal levels of surprise and happiness over it.
Okay. Katie, Madison, you head out first.
His head turned, to Asherah.
Asherah, I cant say we need help up there.
He pointed at the smudge mark on the map.
But they need help over there.
And gestured to Madison and Katie. They were a large woman, who didnt seem to have powers according to what she said on the helicopter. And a small bunny girl, who's shy reactions said she was NOT ready for any sort of combat. Perhaps an HoH competitor could assist.
Would you be so kind?
Then addressing the group as a whole he added right off of what Sunstrike had said.
Teams of three arent a must. But teamwork is. We dont have the time to gather dossier's on each other. But, some of you are already acquainted. I'd suggest we group ourselves up. Everyone gather with who you know, and who you think you'll work best with. And we...
He made a gesture to Sunstrike, then himself then a sort of group motion.
...Can take or pair off who's left.
He didnt spare a moment in reaching out and snatching Anuksu's collar and pulling the vampire over beside himself. Before even a glimmer of "I can be free!" entered his mind.
Rage spoke. Which was the absolute perfect time to gather everyone in the scouting party. Or everyone that wanted to be in the scouting party. Even Max couldnt have planned that better. But...there was something missing.
...Without a moment to spare he held a hand, and spoke in a very important tone. Not as much "I'm important, listen to me." As much as it was "This is important, please let me say it."
Rage! Rage! Before you go.
He would trot right to the man if he infact waited, placing a hand on his shoulder.
Its horrible timing...I cant do this...but...
Wait right there, just one moment.
I need an answer...
He walked right past Rage, and to the bar, scooping something off it that had caught his eye from across the room.
That pool...this war...so curious...
He held it in front of him, between both hands, his back to rage as he paused fighting his last few doubts, before turning around. The cup still warm...
Oh fleeb all!
Rage.
And he proceeded to splash the warm water, directly at the man in question. It had to be the water! You simply do not watch a man jump out of hotel window, into a pool and rise a woman without investigating! It is a must!

Rage definitely needed a change of clothes; if he was going to be a convincing tourist, he'd need to wear something... well, touristy. He headed towards the stairs (which, as always, were next to the bar, not sharing the wanderlust of the tavern's owner) when he heard his name called out. Aha. Maximos. Though he didn't know the man terribly well, and at one point had the thought to do him in, believing that he was part of the plot to exploit Teira, lately he had been able to change his mind and realize more that what the man did was purely for her benefit. Clearly a man of such poise and grace would have something pertinent to sa (*Artist's rendition of the assault by one Mr. Maximos on one Mr. Alexander, nickname Rage, courtesy of the Gaia Police Department)Rage blinked. Then a second time for good measure. Now his clothes were all wet, and he was struggling to figure out just why the normally calm and collected man (despite the recent outburst) had just thrown a glass of water on him. "Right...." It should be duely noted that Rage was still Rage. (*File photo courtesy of Mrs. Periwinkle's 2nd grade class)"Yeah, um, I'm gonna go change now. Max, might want to get that nervous twitch you got going there checked out." Assuming nobody else tried to throw liquids on him (a more common occurrence than one might think, particularly when he was out in his fur coat made entirely out of dalmatians and baby seals), he'd head upstairs.

Maximos Its dead Lazenca. Nothing but ruins left of a man who tried to break the system, and had to be dealt with. Madison at that point froze, she didn't hear about anyone dying in Guldor, which caused her stomach to become heavy. It was as though she was just waiting for bad news to hit. Maximos continued on his merry conversation, which caused the rabbit to head back to the table away from Katie. Even when he asked them if it was alright if Asherah came with them, she still didn't say anything. She looked horrified, she had to know if everything was alright with The Doctor, with Mary, and the entire Black Hospital. Even though now, at this very moment was probably not the best of times to be asking. That can't be true...he must be lying. They were well equipped and prepared. It couldn't be true. He's lying. The rabbit looked terrified, but it wasn't over the mission now. However it wasn't long till she was pulled back into reality and she took another breath in. She turned to Katie and looked at her once again. "We can take her, definitely no problem with that. What do you say Katie?" She adjusted her glasses and took a deep breath in. It was definitely time for them to go.

The moment Maximos got Anuksu by his collar, the Siren chuckled lightly and turned to go back to the room once more to get her stuff.
Back in that semi-darkness, she opened her coat to produce a thick black book from the already worn out pocket on the garment's insides. Clutching it tightly for a moment, Lucind stared ahead, her lips forming a thin line, before she slowly released her breath and slipped the bag over her shoulder.
"..."
On the staircase Rage walked past her, now very wet and leaving a trace of droplets.
The woman directly walked over to Maximos, motioning him aside just a couple of steps before speaking - and it seemed she was hesitating before she simply asked if he could quickly construct a shadow-holster for "the book" which would allow her to carry said item on the outside of her left thigh.
"Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier... If needed, I can drop the bag, but I can't leave that behind."
Even through the fabric, Maximos would probably notice something had been 'done' to the songbook, that it had been covered with protecting spells, using very old, primal magic drawn from the planet itself.

They were just waiting to see if Rage wanted to go, and a bunch of s**t just seemed to happen.
It first started with Madison's look on her face. She looked horrified about something Maximos had said. The bunny even traced her steps back towards the table.
The haunting eyes were on her now, asking a question. Katie had heard Maximos also suggest that they bring Asherah.
"Uh...yeah, she's more than welcome to come."
Like Katie was going to say no to an extra pair of hands.
She was going to ask Rage, but Maximos flagged him down and splashed water all over him. Katie was perplexed by this. What was the purpose of dumping water on him? It seemed redundant.
Glancing back at the bunny then at the other woman, she wondered if the two were ready.
"Shall we?"
She started towards the door.

"Well, I guess this will have to do." Looking surprisingly pleased with herself, and probably even more to Max's confusion, Sakura bounced down the stairs with a strange amount of enthusiasm for such a dire mission. Although, if Rage's garb was any indication, even as Sakura he would have the same terrible sense of fashion. She did not disappoint. At least she pulled off the look of a "Tourist! I figure if we're going to visit a place like that, we might as well blend in." She failed to disclose the fact that the reason she was Sakura and not Rage was because there were specific people in that area that she didn't want to be recognized by. From head to toe she looked like she was ready to visit the beach, and seemed to take no note of the overly somber mood that had permeated the rest of the Firebrand. The shades on top of her green hair, the blue bandanna that pulled her hair back, and the ponytail (now tied with said bandanna) all bounced behind her as he made her way down the last few steps. As for the shirt... it was a surprise anyone could hear her voice over it. Blindingly bright red in color, it seemed to have small pineapples imprinted all over it. As a point of fact, she had raided Elvidnir's clothing for something to wear. The shirt, in fact, was not hers. It had belonged to Sakura, who was actually Rage, but he had only received the shirt years back when he needed something to wear after a particularly nasty battle with the MagiTek company. The shirt itself actually belonged to his childhood friend opaj. opaj purchased it at Gambino Outfitters for G19.95. It was on sale. As for the shorts... well, those were Elvidnir's, too, since the only pair of shorts that Rage ever owned happened to be severely burned and ripped in the same clash with MagiTek. And they were nice cargo shorts, too. He kind of missed those shorts. All she was really missing was a camera and a spoiled brat of a child in tow. She dropped a rather heavy-looking bag at the foot of the stairs before setting two katana at her left hip and re-applying a bandage to her nose. Sunstrike would most likely be the only one in the room to know exactly why there was a bandage on her nose, however. In short order she had finished getting everything together, and was heading towards the door to see if anyone was going to take up her offer on the dragon flight. She was going to check in on Madison and Katie, but instead, she was forced to run past them as she noticed that her primary mode of transportation was out on the beach at the moment, chewing on the propeller of the OTHER mode of transportation out on the beach. "Stupid... tiny arms. How do these things work without wings, anyways....?"The dragon was, surprisingly enough, speaking Drakonic. Sakura responded in kind. "This really isn't the time, Ryu. If you want I'll just tell you how it works on the way there." Sakura had no idea how it worked. She was guessing magic. "Anyways. There's a town near home we need to hit. Something big is going down, and we're gonna need you to take a few of us there. You in? Ryu. Stop chewing on that. You're not helping your image, you know!" Despite being incredibly intelligent, Ryu had a terrible affection for all that was driven by technology. It was a downright fascination, and he was more than a bit curious to see how this apparent flying machine worked. "Oy, fine. Just hurry up with it. I'm getting hungry, and you know I can't fly on an empty stomach."Placing two fingers to her forehead, Sakura turned around and headed back towards the Firebrand, nearly running into Katie on the way. "Oy. Amazon. You coming with?" Meanwhile, in the tavern, Axel was busy getting himself a drink. Of the non-alcoholic variety, seeing as he was underage. he had been witness to Max's splashy mistake, holding back laughing until after his brother had left. He hadn't really come here to be part of what was going on, but something was going on nonetheless....

Damion felt a thrill of triumph, finally he had a name for that thing! The broad smile that lit up his face served to show everyone just how happy he really was about the whole incident, and thus he was allowed to sit back and listen, catching Rae's look about people not listening and grinning all the wider, if that was possible, the corners of his mouth threatening to take in his ears.
He'd have to wait and see where everyone was going in the end, but it seemed to be in his best interest to follow those with the most information, IE Sunstrike and Maximos. Hopefully he hadn't tapped those founts of knowledge dry with his questions, in which case he'd likely need to travel with someone else.

Quinn nodded and thanked Katie. As she stood up, he did too, hefting the large weapon up, strap around his shoulder. Letting it dangle, he looked to Maximos. "Glad to see you're okay. Leg's healing up real nice-like I hope," the grey haired man said with a chuckle. Maximos more than likely didn't know Quinn had shot him in the leg, albeit not on purpose. Smiling, he ran a hand through his hair. "I assume someone is in need of my help. Maximos, if you would be so kind to allow me to join you, I would be honored. If anyone should need my help, I'll be around the side of the building getting ready to go." He walked towards the door quietly, and did as he said he would. Finding the 02, he set the large weapon down. Getting on the bike, he slid his legs and arms into metallic cuffs on either side of the big, which then shrunk to his size. Leaning forward against the smooth surface, a faux breastplate sprung around his torso, and his thighs also became covered in armor. Leaning down, the newly armored Quinn picked up the Schwarzenegger, and slung it around his back. He reached down and found the secondary rifle (the Schwarzenminor) attached to the hoverbike. He also grabbed a pair of pauldrons and strapped them to his shoulders manually. His pack slid neatly into a compartment which held something extra. Pulling out the large shawl and cloak, he threw the shawl around his shoulders and clasped it at the shoulder. He then threw his cloak around him, hiding his armor. Making sure his helmet was still attached to the bike, he kicked the ground to push the bike out in front of the bar. [the first link is to the armor, and second to the weapon- obviously. the third is also obviously the smaller rifle]

There was nothing really comparative to the feeling of being pushed aside, Asherah sighed, she knew how it was. The strangers and girls could never play with the big boys.
"Oh, right, sure I'll go with them. Just let me get my stuff, it's right---" Asherah padded away to her original seat at the bar and snatched up a small black bag, with this, she tried to put aside her ounce of hurt. "Here!"
Popping open the metal buckle in the front, Ash pulled out her furraled whip, and a small poutch before tying them to her hips. When she was done, she tossed the bag over her shoulder and smiled.
"Ready when you are doves. Do we need anything before we leave? Food? Small creatures?"
And on that note, a small stirring noise sounded from Ashera's bag. "Aroo?" A small pipe fox head popped out of her bag and twitched it's ears. Sliding his way out, Pipee the pipe fox make a cute and clumsy floating journey over to Madison, where he proceeded to perch on her ear, then slide off in amusement. "Aruoo!"
