:::Cora's not sure what that means, but she takes it to be endearingly insulting. She was polishing off that second beer Max had promised her earlier, and set it back down on the table. By this point she was feeling quite right about all of this.
She looked out at the dance floor, and then back at Max, putting her hand on his arm to get his attention:::
Hey... would you like to dance with me?

*By this point, Max has finished his beer as well.* Sure. *He smiles and puts his hand at Cora's waist.*
*At the same time, Luke walks up to them.* "Hey."
*Max stops.* "Hey ... what's going on?"
*Luke points a thumb behind him.* "Chesty McBosom went and got herself trashed. She's throwing up all over herself."
*Max makes an 'ugh' face.* "No way. Aimee's roommate?"
"Yeah."
"Ugh. That sucks."
"Yeah." *Luke scratches the back of his head and says.* "I'm gonna go with them. Make sure they get back okay."
*As he says this, Luke notices the way Max is holding Cora, the way she's leaned into him.*

*Luke catches the look. He knows Cora probably has her meds on her... No way he's gonna let her dole them out, but... Luke takes a minute to get his inebriated mind in check.*
*Luke can't leave Cora here with Max and Chuck and the rest of a 21st century bar. ESPECIALLY when he and Aimee are across campus taking care of a drunk girl, which really ... could take five minutes or a whole hour.*
*If something happens, he's not gonna be around to shut it down. Luke realizes anew how much he left himself open to: Nora not knowing her own cousin, Chuck with the questions, and now time alone at a bar with one of his friends who would like nothing better than to where Cora's a** for a hat. Cora might get to go back to the BRink after this, but he's gotta stay here and explain himself. He is taking care of this right now.*
She's pretty bad.

:::But then Cora realizes that the outfit she was wearing didn't exactly have space for medical equipment, and it was back at the house.... not that taking out the administrator in front of a bunch of 21st century types was going to be a good idea anyway. She could carry the girl, but that also wouldn't look too great.
She bit her lip and looked at Max. There was that too... she was having such a good time and it seemed so unfair that it had to be spoiled. Still, she looked at Luke... what can I do?:::

*Luke nods.* "Yeah, why don't you come with me." *Then, he says to Max.* "Hey, man. Could you keep an eye on Chuck?"
*Max looks at Luke like 'Are you ********' kidding me?'* "You want me to babysit?"
"Just make sure he doesn't pass out on the bar. .... Uh, like last week."
*Max does not look happy with the way Luke manhandled the situation.* "Just where the ******** do you think he's gonna go?"
*Luke ignores the question.* "Thanks, man. I owe you one. We'll be back in a few." *Luke motions for Cora to follow him out of the bar.*

*Luke leads Cora out to where Aimee and Stephanie are. They are standing away from where Stephanie threw up, but the sour stench of vomit is still in the air.*
*Luke hurries a little bit as he walks towards them.* Hey. How's she doin?

*Aimee is relieved to see Luke round the corner with Cora. Stephanie is resting all her weight on Aimee. Her eyes are closed, and she is barely holding herself up.* Hey, I think if we don't get her moving she may just pass out on us.

*As they start to walk down the sidewalk and towards campus, Aimee trips a little.* Ooof. *She is wearing heels and having a hell of a time.*

*Clipclopping alongside beside them, Aimee realizes Cora is right, but still... This is supposed to be Cora's night out. She shouldn't have to walk her drunk roommate back to their dorm hall.* Aw, I am so sorry, Cora. Our dorm is only a block or two away, I swear!
*Aimee catches Stephanie's purse, just before it would have slipped off her arm.*
