charlotte smiled cheekly,her mind runing down other paths.
It was a no wonder why she lived where she did.
The memory of hearing such a time didn't come,but then again 1000 years for those of heavenly reagions is just like another day gone by but with a few extra hiurs put in.

it seems a long time to live,do most elves live that long?
She added,she had never known anyone to live that long.Or at least had never bothered to ask anyway.

Desiree laughed lightly at the two then shook her head. "Don't mind at all. It'd be nice to make a few new friends." Her emerald eyes sparkled as she took a sip of her latte.
Ray grinned. "Why thank you." Meir chirped at her, causing her to poke her tongue at him. "Elfs usually live about a thousad years unless they are kill by someone or something. I'm a very young elf, only supposed to look 11. My fighter friend and I, however, got caught in an age spell which caused our bodies to grow to look mid to late twenties in human years."
*edit* Desiree blinked then nodded. "Alright. Hope to you see you both again another time."

Charlotte took on the role of a phyciatrist,grinnig as she did.
and how does that make you feel?Do you blame any bad habits or immaturity on this incident young lady?
She tried pictureing an eleven year old having more power then a normal adult,waving a wand and sword like a pro. But all she came up with was a small girl playing dress ups and she looked down at the table for a minute or to,surpressing the laugh that would have come out if she had been the only one in the room.
She flexed her small wings slightly,they had been pushed into the chair and now more resembled the kind a child would wear for a costume instead of actual angelic wings.

Ray's eyes sparkled before she began to laugh. "Oh, I wish." She sat back for a moment, smiling in thought at the incident. "I suppose you can say it was part of the reason that forced me to grow up and develope my magic. Never had much time to be a kid."

Charlotte looked at her mischieviously for a minute,taking in what she said.
Do you regret it ot wish you could go back to being a kid?
she brushed a stray hair away from her face then did the same to Ray,catching the hair before it fully fell into her eyes.
I guess we're kind of the same in the whole 'missing out on chilhood' thing then?
She added,looking at Meir. Although she enjoyed his company it would be nice to have her own little familiar that would follow her and keep her company.despite the fact it probably wouldn't be able to talk.

Ray looked up at her, pondering her question. She had been in her adult body for some time now and had gotten quite used to it. And Drake... Ray blushed faintly then shook her head. "No... I don't think I'd want to be a child again. I have..many reasons for staying as I am and have no desire to return. Plus, wouldn't you be a little afraid of a child who had the power of a very experienced arch mage?"

He had left emi at the manor messing with her chemicals, hopefully she woulden't blow up the house...again. In the mean time though he had some time to himself and so....COFFEE. He got a cup of it and sat down at one of the tables took out his notebook and started writing.

Desiree had remained at the coffee house, nibbling at her cookies and messing with her flute. She polished it and cleaned it, admiring the black as midnight metal in which it had been crafted, the buttons being gold with small topazs in the center of each. In her concentration, she didn't even hear the door open.

Hearing the voice, Desiree glanced up and smiled lightly. "Hello again yourself. Play? You want me to play something here?" She didn't know if playing was allowed here but she didn't think anyone would really mind.

Desiree blushed faintly which showed well on her pale cheeks, unfortunately. "Alright then." She lifted the flute to her lips and began to play a soft tune, something she had made up years ago.
