Anybody got any tips for a Catachan army? I havn't won any big battles yet, and i keep trying different tactics, but none work. Any clues, hints, suggestions?

ok Lt. the first units of the red army are coming in this week and more will follow soon. I picked up a Motar Squad already and a T-72 that will be my leman russ. And im gonna paint my basilisk in the colors as soon as i find my airbrush.
Im thinkin
Olvie Drab, Feild Drab for gear, then red and gold details, and some aluminum for wear
Edit:
I now plan on using Mi-24s as valkeries I might even go so far as to just use BMPs as Chimeras
the Red Army of Death World Chernobyl will be in action faster than i orginally thought

I do hope that you are going to convert those vehicles in some way and not just plop them in like that? I'm not saying it to stop you, but please, don't be a cheap arse, think of the hobby!
As for the BMP - Chimera thing, the Chimera is an almost direct copy of the BMP, so why bother?

well of course ill convert them cause the T-72 is gonna need a hull mounted weapon, ill be replacing the commanders machine gun with a heavy stubber, it can can radio controled, im putting riders on it, and plenty of Imperial Icons. And the Mi-24 is goin to be armed with a nose mounted LasCannon, Rocket pods, and Heavy Bolter door guns. I may have to pick up some FW crew for the door guns but i dont know yet i may use some cadians i have not built but i do need those as well for army 1. Oh and i wanted to tool out some BRDMs as Sentinals
Oh i also picked out a model to use as an KGB officer (inquisitor) for the army

haha i got a line on that mini as well as my Beret Storm Troopers now my KGB inquisitor will have an escort of Spetsnaz. My Hind-D and my first Valhallan should be here next week. And in thinking about getting a soviet oficers cap to wear while gaming
I also have the turret built on my T-72 and the commander is in place. now for the details and getting it ready for paint

Joe Mcarthy would burst from his grave when he finds out that a US soldier is wearing a commie hat. Screw the lot, Russian uniforms always did look nice and their fur hats with hammer and sickle badges on them are the best thing ever to wear.
