He picked the first 4 people today, and I wasn't one of them. eek And this one kid always screws around and he got in. confused And I march pretty well, too. Or I'm pretty sure I do. Hopefully he just didn't notice me. Actually, I'm not noticed very much. People pretty much forget that I'm right next to them sometimes. It's not that I'm not liked, I'm just pretty quiet around every body except my best friends. Then I talk and laugh a lot. ahh, well, you should have tried to get noticed a bit more =/... crying wahh! mavu-GASP! crying thats terrible ::cries with you::

^^ This rocks!! I've been playing clarinet for what....... 6 years now. Hopefully it will be able to carry me through college too. I'm a junior this year, so i shouldn't worry too much, but still. Marching band has to be the absolute best thing ever. Seriously. 3nodding

OMG I love the clarinet, I have played it in grades 7-12 and I loved it so much. My school band did alot of trips where we went in competitions, which was tons and tons of fun. We went Banff Canada twice, California and New York once, and they were so much fun. MAN do I miss band, especially Jazz band. The only thing that was not always my favourite was I was 2nd trumpet, playing my clarinet and I had so many solos, and MAN did I ever get nervous in concerts. I was the only senior in the trumpet section and first was given to a grade 8 who ACTUALLY played the trumpet. He was really good. I will always love my B flat clarinet and will continue to play until the day I die. My friend Sara, played the same clarinet as me for a few years, but then she switched to Bass Clarinet and DUDE was she ever good. I miss school band, but I still play my Star Wars music at home. Well.......GO CLARINETS GO.

"Lucky I'm sane after all I've been through... I can't complain but sometimes I still do Life's been good to me so far" --Life's Been Good by Eagles But anyway, I am one of the four half-time line-leaders (and pregame too). Although I'm called a line leader, I'm not at the front of the line because when we go into our "world famous" double diamonds, we play our feature tune and instrument grouping would be off if the new flute player wasn't in front of me.

I know we all shouldn't gamble to be great, but i feel its a experience gained rather then unluckiness raining down ^_^

lets see been playin since i was 6 top player in the county. play in the comunity band with a ton of band directors. im 16 and i play saxophones and clarinets (diff kinds) use a 3.3.5,or 4 reed dependin on the instrument and im lookin into a custom - made clarinet ^^

Hello
I snuck over from the trumpet section (shh don't tell them I'm here lol) xd .
My sister's old clarinet is sitting in the basement right now (none of us can play it) but one key won't click back down.
Like, you press it and it stays up.
I have no money to fix it, but I hate instruments to sit around broken.
How shall I go about repairing it?

if its just stuck just press that key gently till it loosens up, some food or something might b in there causin it to stick (sugar perhaps) umm if ya bring it into the rapair ppl they shouldnt charge ya to much to look at it.
actually have ur BD look at it and see whats wrong with it ^^

kittenzor if its just stuck just press that key gently till it loosens up, some food or something might b in there causin it to stick (sugar perhaps) umm if ya bring it into the rapair ppl they shouldnt charge ya to much to look at it. actually have ur BD look at it and see whats wrong with it ^^ well, it might be something that has to do with the padding or the clarinet needs to be oiled, I think two years ago in sixth grade, back in may or june, the register key on my clarinet got stuck and my first teacher oiled that part ...okay i need to get my clarinet oiled when i think about it... CHOCOVASH...what kind of oil are you suppose to use to oil a clarinet O_____o i forgot how to oil one too...my teacher was teaching me and i just forgot ~_~....
