...Dance together, the three of them? That wasn't what she wanted! The small little girl turned her stare back to Cady, trying to not look dismayed. At least...she was still getting the dance she wanted? So she managed a smile instead, nodding.
"O-okay! If...if that's okay with, uh...Cady....then okay!" Now it was just up for the manticore to answer.
----
"Thanks, Man." Mac chuckled at the other Reaper's antics, before taking Lizzy's hand (and noting it was getting easier and easier to do so), closing his fingers around her cool ones. He easily took Mot's place and pulled Lizzy into a slow dance that was, unsurprisingly, similar to their first dance to this song. His hand rested easily against her hip, the other held suspended; he kept her close, braving the proximity of this particular Demoness.
"You look very nice tonight." Mac informed her, since he hadn't gotten the chance to. "Can't imagine it keeps you remotely warm, though." She was always cold to him, and yet she was wearing less now than she ever did! The song drone on in the background, slow and sweet, and Mac lead his dance partner along with it, resisting every possible urge to repeat what happened in his room.
He hummed for a moment, settling to just look down at her, black eyes scouring her prettily blushing face. Something else hit him then, something he hadn't said before but...he probably should now. "Ah...And about what you said earlier..."
Mac bowed his head to lean in close, softly whispering into her ear. "I do want you to be my date."

Taryn obediently pulled back from the soiled napkins, taking a clean one to wipe her sticky hands. She wasn't too keen on staining her dress herself, considering how much it had cost and what it meant, but she didn't want Joachim ruining his coat either. She took up the less-damaged papers and followed him to the trash can quietly. From behind she admired her date's long locks of red hair, the paleness of his flesh, the innate style of his outfit. The chimera found herself smiling and blushing again and looked down at her feet.
She didn't notice that they had reached their destination, though, and bumped right into Joachim.
"Oop--!"

"Um," West said. Yes, he had been sure he wanted to dance five minutes ago, but that was before he had gotten out here. The slow music and Holly beside him reminded him forcibly of Scarentine's again, but instead of panicking outwardly, he reached forward and placed one hand on her hip, the other lighting on her shoulder. He nodded and stepped closer. This might have felt just as uncomfortable as their previous dance at the moment, but West was determined that it not look that way. He had promised her fun. This was fun. No, it wasn't. Yes. Fun. With a small, resigned smile, West began to dance as carefully as he could. At least she wasn't wearing a long dress for him to trip on this time.

Did..
Did Charlie just turn into a sparkling vampire for a moment?
Riley backed up, several steps, right back into Malodore's arms, and rocked a little in shock.
I.. I really don't know what I just witnessed.

"It's... certainly been a change of pace to what I'm used to," Shun said in response. Just the whole being social thing was very strange to him. He didn't think he was going to become extroverted any time soon but he supposed he didn't quite have to be so closed in all the time. Though, he was still most comfortable on his own or with a select few only. Even then, the latter was still something new to him. Normally, he just had Bent-Tail around and all.
But, he noticed that there was something about having an actual friend that his little companion couldn't do. The reaper couldn't put his finger on it though.
"..But not necessarily in a bad way," he added.

Claire was about to answer when Moure said goodbye. Now she was just... by herself again. The music was playing, yes. So, she danced. Hopefully someone would come and dance with her.

"Only in the middle?" She smiled, giving Demi another pat on the head though her eyes were turned to Levi, "Is this your first prom too?" Honestly, she was really sad that it was going to coming to a close soon. Would she be able to work up the courage to talk to these guys again once prom was over? Considering her usually meek temperament...
"Why don't you two go find people and dance?" She suggested, looking around with a wistful sigh, "This is going to be over soon, so might as well enjoy the last few hours while we still can." How sad this was! Once the last song started playing, she would have to go ask Vaith for a dance.

He could feel the punch starting to drip down his sleeve, at least for the most part it was a dark enough color that the stain would never show up, that was if it did stain. Joachim dumped the wet napkins hearing them go plop on top of the discarded plates and cups from the other students. He looked at his hands flexing his fingers watching as his skin started to stick to one another, great now if she wanted to hold his hand she would end up with a bit of a sticky surprise and maybe even stuck to her.
Joachim didn't pay attention to where Taryn had gone when he went to throw the napkins away he merely assumed that she was still near the table until something collided into his back. The voice sounded familiar as he saw his date had run into him, or maybe he ran into her not remembering if he had taken a step back.
"I'm sorry! Are you ok... I didn't see you I didn't mean to run into you..... this is a disaster...." The last part of his sentence came out nothing more than a mumble for his own ears to hear.

She rested her hand on Mac's shoulder, not really minding the closeness even as her face started to flush. At his compliment, her face turned even redder, but she managed a smile, "Thank you... You look dashing tonight. Even more so than usual." She had wanted to tell him that for a while now, although his other comment prompted a soft giggle from her.
"No... Why? Do you want to give your jacket up to me?" She teased, although that small part of her... Genuinely wanted it. What? It was romantic! However, she did hold him closer, her hand slipping down her back a little, as she tilted her head, "This is warm too though..."
At the whisper, her eyes widened, face reddening even more as she turned to look at the boil. She paused momentarily, not sure how to answer, before leaning in as well, to whisper something back.

This poor, nervous little boil! Taryn just shuffled over to toss out her napkins as well and gave Joachim a charming little laugh... or at least she thought it might be charming.
"It's okay, it's okay! I wasn't watching where I was going," she smiled, "It's not your fault! I'm having a great time!" The reassurance came from observations, not from Joachim's mumblings. He seemed so nervous, and in a way she totally understood. It was first date nervousness, or at the very least first prom. She did not, however, understand why. This night had been... fun! They'd had punch, they'd held hands, they'd danced... what more could a girl ask for?!

Damien wanted nothing more than to roll around after the friendly pettings as she asked about dancing which made the boil scrunch his face up. "Don't think I can do that right now, after that bad slam into the table." he shifted around the makeshift ice pack in a cup to other area that needed tending.
He just knew there was bruising there, call it a painful hunch. He did turn his attention back to the Baku with a lopsided grin. "How bout you, you should get out there and show Levi how its done."

Roch almost looked panicked at the wistful sigh. "Wh--Dude, I think she's trying to shove us off on other people. That is truly cruel! You know, to them," he drawled, taking another long gulp of his smoothie and glancing out at the floor. "But damn, looks like I've got to, anyway," he said as he got to his feet and headed for Claire.
"Hey," he said. "Can I join you?"

Cady was completely tuning out the world. Who was that magnificent pink haired dancer? He had strutted his stuff SO HARD even his partner was on the verge of napping again, out of shock. Riley sure took a LOT of naps. She turned around as Christof addressed her, just now noticing the new ghoul. Oh! Was this his date? Whoops. "Hi! I'm Cady, I don't think I know you, I'd definitely remember - your hands are backwards, you know. I've never seen that before, does it hurt?" She tried turning her own hands like that, but was stopped by muscles and bone structure that were clearly in no mood for tomfoolery. She leaned toward the boil she'd been dragging, and said in a clear stage whisper, "YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU HAD A DATE! And you haven't danced with her since SCARENTINES? That's...that's a lot of time, and that is terrible." She didn't know what Scarintine's was...that was like a holiday right? Whatever. She gave him a bit of an overenthusiastic friendly shove in her direction. She had a new target now. She beelined for the refreshment table, like a shark closing in on a...something in the water that was not another shark. And probably food. Yeah. She stared at Charlie silently. He was like some sort of dance prophet, definitely. Too bad he hadn't been around for the dance off, he was a shoe in.

"Moure? Speedy guy, good for delivering pizzas? That Moure?" he asked, looking a bit blank. "What about him?" he asked, just kinda moving from side to side as an excuse of dancing. "He's going to be the gopher for my music club once I get it started."
