"You are... quite delusional." Ephraim said, somewhat taken aback by her words. For some reason, she was able to throw him off a bit. Which could be part of why she was able to outmatch him so easily...
He grunted as his attack was deflected, and though he tried to pry his wrists away, in the next moment, they were cuffed. Bound. And it seemed impossible to break them with the magical energy in them. "Gaa!" He let out a sort of yelp when she grabbed him by the back of the hair. Her hold was so powerful and firm...
His eyes narrowed into hers as she leaned in, though after the scene sank in, that look of fear and defeat she wanted to see so much seemed to enter his eyes. His tense body relaxed in a sort of submission, as he came to realize he couldn't move or resist. She had him entirely at her mercy. "...I didn't realize you were... so physically strong..." He muttered. "I miscalculated... You may even be stronger than..." ...Me... It was quite a scene. This tiny, pink-haired girl had overpowered and subdued this powerful king, handcuffed him and now held him entirely at her mercy. Ephraim was possibly the strongest warrior in the world, and yet he was outdone so quickly by Krul...
Just how much more powerful had she become?

"Am I? " She grinned at him, her sharp fangs showing slightly. In the next moment, Ephraim's attack on her backfired in a way he may not of been used to. Losing wasn't his game. "Mm, that's right. Let me see those hate-filled eyes. The fear and the regret. Had you stayed at home, you would be safe and sound. But now you are mine... "
That is, if he didn't turn into the submissive Kaden she was about to get rid of..just like that..."Hmm, and don't forget..make sure you struggle. It's much more fun for me that way..my little mouse.." She rested her hand under his chin, forcing him to look into her eyes. "Say good-bye to the life you knew, you won't see it again. " And then, she released his chin, instead grabbing him by his cuffed wrists, and finally departing to the Reaper's kingdom with the king in tow.

"Heh... I regret nothing, little queen." Ephraim said with ample defiance. "Today the queen conquered the king, but... how long do you think you'll be able to keep me in check? If you expect me to bend as easily as your last pawn, you're sorely mistaken." It was becoming quickly evident that if Krul wanted a defiant slave who would struggle, she had certainly found the best one for it. "You don't have to tell me twice..." He muttered, grunting a bit ather next words. "You seem rather confident of that... We shall see if your confidence is justified." In the next moment, he felt his cuffed wrists taken by the tiny Reaper, and he could do nothing except bow his head as she took her new apparent property to her realm...

Alistair

"It's all for you..."

User Image

"Watching the sunrise..." Alistair smiled to himself as the sun rose upon the horizon. It was a beautiful spectacle--one that wasn't as commonly appreciated as it should be, he believed. "What a lovely experience." He did this every morning, it seemed. He always awoke before the sun so he could watch it rise. The sun seemed to be his favorite thing. Basking in its warmth always made his day better. Even when it was still winter, he could always appreciate the sun.
"Hey," Alistair turned to see a man who pulled out a knife. "Give me... give me all your money, and you don't have to get hurt."
"Hmm." Alistair tilted his head. "Come now, tell me what troubles you. If we talk in the light of the sun, surely we can find a solution to your problems." He smiled brightly.
"Huh? No, I said, give me your money!!"

A few minutes later...
"So then my wife left me, and now... I dunno man, I can't seem to find anyone who's willing to hire me..." The man sighed, drinking his... tea. That Alistair had prepared for both of them.
"I see. This world can seem unmistakably cruel at times, I understand." Alistair put a hand on the man's shoulder. "But I believe in you, Douglass! I know you can do anything you set your mind to!" He smiled. "Think not about your former wife, or the job you abandoned. Think forward! Think about all the good you can still do for this world! Tell me, would you settle for anything less when you were a child?"
"...Y-you're right... I'm better than this... what am I doing? I'd never mug anyone... I can still make all my dreams come true...!" The man quickly stood. "Thank you, stranger! Thank you so much! This is what I really needed..."
"Don't thank me. Thank the sun. Its warmth is what brings our spirits up." He smiled warmly, and the man nodded, before hurrying off, apparently reinvigorated.
"Ah, it's always so nice to see people's determination," Alistair sipped his tea. "What a nice man!"

Poor Alistair, he was such a kind soul, probably never having hurt a single person in his life. He was far to busy saving people in many ways then just danger, as the young man who attempted to mug him learned. There were of course, some people who wanted to be saved, or had the possibilities to be. Then...there were others, others who only seeked to do the opposite of what he stood for. Bring pain, suffering and death.
Those were people like the Reaper's, the kind Serenitian's most threatening enemies. There was now an unfortunately large number of terrible events going down with the Serenitians, other kingdoms such as the elf kingdom, and the still existing Reaper's.
Alistair would not see it coming, as it all happened within seconds, as a pair of dagger's, attached to thick steel chains, seemed to float forward, one sticking into the ground, while the other spun around Alistair's body, the chains wrapping around him from legs, to his arms. There was little he could do to defend himself at this point.
That's when his attacker appeared there, standing in front of him. A women of long violet hair, clothed in a short black mini dress wearing a purple eye mask, strangely enough that didn't seem to block her vision. There was also a strange symbol at her forehead, but upon looking at it closer, one would realize it wasn't just a symbol, or a tattoo. It was carved into her skin intentionally. Was it an enemy of hers? Or was it her own doing?
The chains began to flow with a purple energy a second later, and Alistair would quickly start to feel his own energy starting to leave him.

"Poor boy.. All alone out here, just waiting for one of us to come get you. " The woman said, smirking coldly. "Honestly, I didn't think it would be this easy to capture the son of the b*****d who took our Queens life. But here you are, alone, and helpless! " Taking the dagger that was still stuck into the ground, she would give it a harsh tug, tightening the chains around Alistair's body. "Reina..Are you going to stay like that all day? " She glanced away, to..nothing. At least, something he couldn't see.

"...You had it under control. " A voice would say, and soon another figure seemed to phase into existence. Not quite as old as the woman who attacked, she definitely was a lot younger. With deep purple hair and eyes, this one wore a more interesting set of armored clothing, with short black and deep pink shorts, the top was hidden by the clack hooded cloak she wore over it. The ends of her cloak were adorned with deadly sharp armor that seemed to come off like arrows, there was probably something more to that cloak of hers then people knew about. Her weapon, also connected by a deep purple chain, daggers weren't what were connected! This young girl came equip with a giant, wicked looking scythe. "You have him, now we should kill him. Isn't that what we came for? There is no revenge if we don't take each and everyone of his most precious things away. What would crush a father more then to destroy all of his children? " At this time, Reina had the blade's end to Alistair's neck. One harsh movement, and she could end him right there.

From above, a brilliant golden light seemed to light up the sky. It went from gold to yellow, and then, a blur of pink could only be seen speeding down from the heavens like a bullet! And in a matter of seconds, an object sped full force towards the earth. A sharp, long object that looked fairly similar to a spear would come crashing down into the grassy area! Upon striking with the ground, holy energy shot out like a mas explosion, completely over-whelming the Reaper's, as well as disorienting them enough for Reina to drop her weapon. What happened next, was...

Pretty awesome,as they would see a sight of which they hoped to never see again, Alice, as she grabbed onto the handle of the spear before even touching the ground herself, with her hands firming holding the weapon, Alice used some momentum to kick off the ground, and swing around to send her armored boots into the girls chests, her energy itself was spiking to levels these girls really didn't want to test further! As Alice's boots came into contact with their chest's, both girls were sent flying several yards back harshly, so harsh that as they skidded and rolled along the ground the earth itself was scarred from the impacts, creating a massive gash into the earths surface.
"I'm back, you witches! And I won't let you lay a finger on Alistair! " Well, she seemed to know them....Alistair would too, from their own time. They were a constant source of trouble, and now they were here, using Krul's death of this time as an even bigger excuse to kill....
With her eyes on both targets, Alice carefully began to remove the chains from around Alistair. It seemed the holy affects of Alice's attack second ago, had also taken away the power the Reaper had over those chains, and cancled the affects of the energy drain..

Alistair

"It's all for you..."

User Image

As the chains wrapped around him, Alistair blinked, but otherwise, seemed mostly unfazed. He didn't really struggle, or make any noises. As the Reaper appeared there before him, she was met with... a smile. Of course. "Ah, it's great to see you once again! You're looking radiant as ever." He said kindly. Alistair was something else. As the smaller Reaper appeared there, he smiled towards her as well. "And you're looking cute as ever yourself! It's lovely to see you two once again. Were you wanting tea? I don't mind preparing some for the two of you." Indeed, he didn't seem wholly intimidated. If anything, it was like he didn't realize he was in danger. Or perhaps, he didn't think he was, despite knowing what their intentions were. "Doesn't the sun feel lovely against your skin? Come, let us sit and discuss our lives. It feels like it's been too long since we've met like this." "Like this." Had a similar situation happened in the past?
And then came the next scene, as his lovely retainer made her grand entrance, and as usual, was beyond impressive. He felt his heart jump a bit as she took them down so handily, and followed up with her rather cool line. Ah, she was the coolest person ever. "Hello, Alice. I've been wondering where you were." He said calmly with a bright smile. "You're so very cool, as always~ while I don't like violence, being protected by you is such a nice feeling." Was he like Rinoa? Interesting stuff. Alice didn't lose a whole lot, which fit since she was trained by Ephraim, the best spear user and strongest warrior in the world.
He stretched a bit as the chains were taken off him, smiling to her as always. "You're so strong. And the light of the sun accentuates your beauty so perfectly~ I feel like it's been too long since we've seen one another."

One could only imagine how bothered Riena and her older sister there were. The looks on their faces were enough to see how troubled they really were! It was a great look for the pair. Alice smirked, leaning slightly against the spear as the two looked right back at her! "Mm, well? You should flee now! Or would you rather I showed you my new move? " She smiled sweetly, a smile that meant Reaper doom had they not left. "I can promise you won't survive. It has even me impressed! " She took a few steps forward now, slowly walking toward the two Reaper's as if trying to intimidate them..

And that she did, as they would vanish without further trouble suddenly!
"He,he..well, that was easier then I thought it would be! " They must have been terrified, with how long she was gone, and the ..predicament she was in because of those two, they had reason to be fearful. Rage boiled up after some time, and they knew enough not to be in her path when the limit was reached. Turning to face Alistair now, she gave him a playful wink as she made her way back to him...after stabbing her spear into the ground beside them, Alice would grab Alistair into a tight, but gentle hug! She held onto him for several moments, it had been a while since they last seen one another, it was true.. due to, annoying purple haired Reaper's, but that could stay a secret for now.The main thing was, she was here now, and where she should be, with Alistair. " Are you alright? " He didn't look hurt, but still, she wanted to be sure. As she let him go finally, he may be able to see her eyes kind of wander, obviously checking him for any injuries. "You are really okay? " He had some kind of luck, not a single scratch?
As soon as she knew he was well, her smile would quickly return.. "I'm glad. We might not be such great friends if you didn't like my protecting you." Good luck to Aria and Reiner, if she ever did become his retainer. Knowing her though, she probably wouldn't. If it made things awkward and made Reiner upset, she wouldn't take any part in it.

"Aww, your making me blush.." She said nervously, a hint of pink at her cheeks. "To be put in the same sentence of the sun you love so much, is like the greatest compliment you could give!" She was kind of teasing him there, she may not of seemed it, but she could have her goofy side too. What was living if she couldn't have a little fun? "It has been a long time...to long..Um, I do apologize for being away for all this time..." She paused a moment, taking a moment to look around the surroundings.."Is there a reason you are out here alone, in the first place? This seems dangerous for you to be doing without anyone. Have you been doing this every day that you've been here??"

Alistair

"It's all for you..."

User Image

Alistair gave a few claps as the two fled with their tails between their legs. "Splendidly done as always!" He exclaimed. "You seem in fine form. Watching you defeat enemies so handily is such a treat, if you don't mind me saying." He wasn't like most other guys who got fed up when they thought of a girl protecting them, it seemed. Quite the contrary. "Ah~" He felt himself blush and swoon a bit as she winked at him. What a lovely girl she was. As she hugged him, he would of course return the hug delightedly. "Of course I am. Better than alright!" He said simply. "Just basking in the sun's life-giving glow gives me strength, but now? Now I'm in the presence of my favorite retainer! Nothing could make this moment better!" She was his only retainer, but that was beside the point.
"Why ever would I dislike you protecting me? I find is flattering, really. And it's always a delight to see you fighting. You always look so attractive when you're pulverizing the enemy!" He said with a bright smile, as though that were the most ordinary thing ever to say. "And the thought of you protecting me excites me terribly for some reason. Just don't overextend yourself, of course. Though I'll always be here to help if you get hurt."
At her next words, Alistair's smile only widened. "It's so cute to see such a fearless, capable warrior blushing." He said, patting her on the head with a smile. One had to wonder if he was teasing her. "Oh Alice, your radiance could give the sun itself a run for its money. You're more than comparable. You always glow like the sun itself." That really was high praise coming from him. "Not to worry! No apologies necessary. I'm just glad to see you now~" He gave her a sort of look at her last question, as if it was the silliest thing she had ever asked. "Of course I have! This is the perfect place to watch the sunrise!" He motioned towards the horizon, before turning towards it, raising his arms and sort of basking in the sunlight. "Isn't it a wonderful feeling? The majesty of the sun and the light it gives are truly irreplaceable, don't you agree?" Eccentric might not be an extreme enough word to describe Alistair...

"Your compliments give me even more strength, but seeing your smiling face tops it off. I must protect that smile, after all! There would be much sadness in the world should it ever fall." She said with a playful smile. Of course he was like the light that brought so much positive radiant energy, all brought on by that special smile of his.
As she let go after a moment from their hug, she had to laugh. "Of course, Alistair loves his sun so very much..I'm not sure there is a thing in the word more important to you then that. " Alice said playfully. "Hmm.." She put a finger to her chin, looking at him questioningly now, as if teasing him a little. "I was gone so long, you went and got a new retainer? Who is this second favorite retainer of yours?" Obviously she was playing with him, she didn't actually think he got a new retainer!

"Oh, just ask your brother? Reiner seems to be against the whole retainer thing because he doesn't want a girl protecting him, isn't that right? " She shrugged, smirking at his next compliments. "Hee,hee. Thank you, I do my best to impress. " Impress him, mostly. She didn't much care about anyone else being impressed with her, but well, maybe Ephraim..
Smiling softly, Alice nodded reassuringly. "Of course. I wouldn't risk such a thing, if I did, it would put you in more danger. I can't have that. "

Ah, Alice couldn't stop her own smiling. Alistair's smiles were so contagious! "Only you seem to bring that out in me. Alistair has special abilities he doesn't even know of yet! " Getting her to blush, and smile endlessly, yes, it was part of his natural...Alistair power. "That means a lot to me, Alistair, thank you so much! " She wasn't all that feminine, she spent her whole life training and getting ready to help the world, and protect everyone from those who did harm. She didn't want to see anyone suffer a great loss of family or friends, so no matter what, she wanted to become as skilled as possible. Not only to protect Alistair.
Shaking her head softly, a soft giggle came from Alice. "I see...Alistair, what am I going to do with you? " He really loved those sunrises. Even at the cost of his life! "From now on, now that I am here..You won't leave without me, okay? I can't protect the prince if he runs off to danger every morning! We can watch the sunrise together.. " ...Oh god, did she really know what she was saying? Did she really want to wake up that early?! Poor Alice. She would regret those words soon enough.

I’ve committed many unforgivable sins.
The caring heart that I once possessed died long ago…"

Soft footsteps could be heard from behind the two, and had they turned around to look, they would see... a young man. He looked around the same age as Ephraim, perhaps a bit younger. He seemed wholly unintimidating, and didn't seem to have ill intentions. However... There was a certain... presence he had. It was threatening. "...."
"Nnh...." Alistair gripped at his chest, taking a step back. "Gods..." He seemed suddenly very... bothered. "Why do you feel so... hopeless? I've never felt anyone with such a despaired mind before..." And he had met many with broken dreams and shattered ambitions. And yet... one so comparably young... Alistair almost couldn't take it. He could feel his emotions. It was... suffocating.
"..." This boy seemed so bright. So hopeful. He reminded Lyon of himself, once upon a time... "I wonder if Ephraim would hate me more... if I killed his child..." He muttered. "I don't want to kill you..." He shook his head. "But I feel like that's... what... I have to..."
"I don't know what your history is, but... please, let me help you. Come! Have tea with me! We can-!"
"There is no helping someone like me," He cut in. "I appreciate the thought, though... I should be dead. I did die. Why am I here? ..." He paused. "I'm happy that Ephraim has been able to move on with his life..." He took a step back. "Wh... where's Eirika? I haven't... seen her..." He seemed very... confused? Or perhaps he was insane...

Innes

"Surrender? I am Prince Innes of Frelia. I don't know the meaning of the word."

User Image

Lyon moved his head back a bit, as an arrow flew past his face, just narrowly missing him. He slowly turned to face the archer responsible...
"I should've known you wouldn't do us the favor of staying dead," Innes had his bow drawn and another arrow stringed, as he pointed it directly towards Lyon, taking a few steps around. "Seeing you again would break Eirika's heart. I'll protect her from that pain. I'll kill you here and now."
Poor Alistair and Alice would have to be left somewhat confused.

"..." A dark tome could be seen in Lyon's hand. Naglfar. "Prince Innes. Or are you a king now? I wonder how much time has passed..." Lyon didn't seem terribly intimidated. "It's funny that you used to scare me a lot... before the war, when I was weak."
"You're still weak," Innes interjected. "Allowing the demon king into your heart was a fool's move. It only showed what you truly were. A coward."
"...." Lyon paused. "...Ephraim.... Eirika.... do they hate me?"
"I cannot see why they wouldn't. You're responsible for their father's death. You betrayed them. And your own people."
"....I thought so." Lyon chuckled hopelessly. "That's good. It's for the best. This is the path I chose... and... if even they hate me... I'm resigned to it." He made his tome fully visible now. "So it won't matter when I kill you..."
"You're a fool if you think yourself capable," Innes let his arrow fly. Lyon dodged it once again. Innes stringed another arrow and let it loose again, shooting arrows at a rapid pace. "You two, go back! I'll handle this!" He said to Alistair and Alice.
"....." Alistiar didn't really like how the situation was panning out. Father, come to where I am. Quickly. He urged his father mentally. Considering they weren't far outside of Marvel, it shouldn't take him long to get here...

"??? " At the first sign of a possible threat to Alistair, Alice was quick to move in front of him. His reaction to the strange man's presence was enough to worry her, and enough that she wouldn't take any chances in letting him anywhere near Alistair.
"..Your emotions should be enough to tell you your path. And clearly, you don't choose to kill anyone..." His hesitation was clear enough, but for such a confused mind, would it be enough to listen to them? It was only due to Alistairs typical wish to help everyone, that she didn't already attack him. First, she would try it his way, with no aggression. But if it was certain talking wouldn't work, then she would have no choice but to be violent herself.

She took a small step forward, keeping herself in front of Alistair still. "If what you say is true, then...is it not clear enough? You have been given a second chance, a chance to right any wrongs that may have been done in the past. This is your life, and it is up to you what you make of it. Whatever happened in the past, should be your motivation to make things right now. Don't you want that? "
Then he mentioned Eirika, and it became clear now that he was someone from Alistair's father's past. A friend? The way he questioned Eirika's whereabouts seemed that way..

And then....a arrow would fly past Lyon's face, which he was fortunate enough to not be struck by. The scene would unfold before she could even manage a word in, It was Innes against Lyon, who she felt...right now..the need to protect. "Stop it! " Alice suddenly shouted, and before another arrow could be strung and shot for Lyon, Alice would use her spear to knock away Inne's bow. It wouldn't break it, but very likely if she caught him in enough surprise, it would be knocked from his hand as she intended. "There isn't going to be ANY killing here. Got it? No one has to be hurt. I won't let that happen.." Well, she certainly could try... Turning from Innes, she would set her attention back to Lyon. He was still someone she didn't want to take her eyes off of, for now..

"Let's do this Eirika's way, shall we? Can we not talk like civilized adults? " Which was funny, since she was still just a teenager. "Battle isn't everything..It doesn't always solve problems. " She said, her words were directed at both men. "Ephraim and Eirika are to kind to hold a grudge against someone, no matter what it is, I know they would never hate you.." Despite what Innes said! That kind of made her angry, actually. It was like he was just trying to upset him more. "You were close with them, weren't you? ...Can you explain what happened? If you are uncomfortable, then..Just tell me one thing. If you could make up for whatever reason it is you feel so terrible, would you do it? Would you want to see Ephraim and Eirika as the friends you seemed to have had in the past? "

"If it were only so simple..." Lyon muttered, Having such a simple outlook... he envied that. It felt like so long since he could think about things simply. Be relaxed. ...Be happy...
"It's... too late for redemption." He said with a gentle shake of his head. "I shouldn't be alive... I already made my choices... I've committed too many sins. Too many unforgivable sins. ....All for nothing." Because in the end, he saved nothing. He helped no one. All he did was bring misery and betray his closest friends. It was all for naught.

"Ngh!" Innes managed to pull his bow away from the spear's blade. "What in the world are you doing?!" He grunted. "Don't be deceived. That's all he's ever done!" Innes told her firmly. "I was there the entire time. Every time he tried to fool Ephraim and Eirika, using their past as friends for leverage... any pity you feel for him must be cast aside. He killed King Fado, Ephraim and Eirika's father! Don't show him any mercy he didn't show others." He did have a point in a way. Innes was very absolute about this sort of thing. "Rrg." As she turned to face Lyon, Innes stepped forward, holding out an arm and positioning himself in front of Alice protectively. He seemed a bit overprotective. And he was. Which was funny since he was an archer.
"..." Lyon shook his head. "It's too late. I can't atone for those things... things would never be the same as they used to be."
"There! You see? Now allow me to do what I am here to do!" He could perhaps be insufferable sometimes, but he was honestly just trying to do what he thought was for the best. Especially after he put Eirika through so much distress and turmoil... Innes couldn't find it in himself to forgive.

"It IS that simple.." Alice sighed, he wasn't going to be easily convinced it looked like. "It's never to late. It's only more upsetting that you would stand there, with your mind made up that there is no other path when clearly, there IS. You were given this second chance to live a life. To make a better life for yourself. The first step is forgiving yourself. I can promise you they have..."
As she attempted to knock away Innes's bow, only to have him pull it away before she could, Alice shot him a small glare. "I am trying to help someone in need! Without the use of this.." She then just...threw down her spear. Irresponsible? Maybe, but maybe not. She didn't always need her weapon, as her enemies found out in painful ways. "Just stop it. " Alice looked at him sternly. "Why can't you accept the fact that it is possible for someone to change? He ...may of done terrible things, but that was the past, and being aware of those wrongs, he CAN change for the better. "
As she turned to Lyon, she would find Innes attempting to protect her as he got himself in front of her.... "...." And .....just like that, Innes would feel a pull of his arm, as she shoved him behind her! "Please don't do that again. You are an archer, you don't stand in the front lines.." She sighed! Most girls might of loved to be protected, but not so much her. She kind of lived to protect one person, and that person was the blue-haired prince standing near by. "It would be better if you and Alistair just went back to Marvel..Let me talk to him..What he needs is someone there for him, rather then everyone wanting to bring harm. Your violence isn't going to help anything. Now please just go. "
