jewel stops by a door way that says restricted and tilts her head " hm? normaly when something says restricted it means they are hiding something... alot like eggman...." jewle swallows and changes into a snake flatting her body so she can get to the other side of the door changing back to normal on the other side " o-okay....I just need to find what I'm looking for and get the heck out of here..."jewel said quietly to herself carefully walking down the halls. jewel spots some needles and a baton stick as she tilts her head grabing the stick " labs must be around here some where" jewel said hiding the stick behind her back and peeking her head into every open room

"No... Maria... I didn't..." Shadow began backing away. Everything back to normal, "Where... did you..." He was shocked, hearing Maria's own voice shout at him through anger. His ears twitched, snapping him back to reality, Someone's here....

jewel frowns swallowing following one of the scienctists standing right behind him after he entered a room as jewel shouts " I'm sorry!" as she swings the baton stick at the back of his head trying to knock him out

Shadow heard something get hit and he peeked over through the cell to see what was going on.

jewel sniffles slightly looking threw the lab coat pockets " I'm very sorry....mister" jewel said trying to find a set of keys as she frowns " oh no he... he doesn't have the keys...." jewel said in a panicing way

jewle blinks rubbing her eyes with her arm " s-shadow? its jewel, do you know who has the key..." jewel asked getting up and going over to the door trying to wiggle the door " it won't open with out a key..."

jewels ears go down " I'm sorry I.. I didn't mean for them to do experiments on you... it's my falt your in here..." jewle said frowning " they beileve I'm telling lie's... no one believe's my side of the story at all..." jewle said looking upset rubbing her eyes slightly " your.. your my friend you took care fo me even when he told you to get rid of me"

"Hmph...." Shadow frowned, "I only needed a slave. I didn't care about you at all..." He scoffed, "I had to keep you alive don't I? So I had to feed you some how..." He came up with all of these excuses to make him not to seem so soft.
"Is that so Shadow?" Sonic suddenly came up, "You aren't always the tough guy when it comes to helping others..." He grinned.
"Sonic... what are you doing here?"
"Here to bail you out, buddy!"

jewels ears go downas she looks down blinking swallowing trying to keep her tears from coming out "b-but...why...why take me to such a nice place if you didn't...." jewel stoped her sentance hearing sonic looking at him shivering and quickly rubbing her eyes trying to hide that she was close to crying " I'm sorry.. I just wanted to help..." jewel said in a small sniffle

Sonic shrugged, "That was the plan right?" He looked at Jewel and pulled out a device, "This should help without the key." He placed the device on the lock and the door popped open. "There we go. We should get going now."
Shadow scoffed, "What do you expect me to do? I can't hide in the crowd since I'll be recognized so easily!"
Sonic winked at Shadow, "You're staying with..." He pointed a finger at Jewel, "...her." He frowned, "That is until I find a way to convince everyone that what you did... isn't... well... erm..." He rubbed the back of his head, "Come to think of it... I don't even know how to do that..." He sweat dropped.
Shadow growled, "Great!" He grabbed the door and shut it closed, locking himself in again. "I'm better off staying here."
"Oh no, Shadow! We're busting you out!" Sonic opened the cell.
Shadow closed the cell door, "Staying."
"Nope! Come out!" Sonic opened the cell door.
Both hedgehogs battled it out by opening and closing the cell door.
