Kaori was starting the hear a ringing in her ears that was drowing out all but the thrice blasted sirens. When the towers landed, Nova's jutsu wobbled, but they were saved from a complete free fall by the appearance of Ayame, the Kazekage herself, alive and in the flesh. Which was a great thing, but at the same time she was more than a little upset at the deception at such a crucial time for Suna. But she put that aside for now and continued her assault. She and Nova continued the tag team meathod to get rid of the UHV's shields and rip into them. She wasn;t sure if Ayame had taken out all of the towers with her snake summon, so she forewent jutsu for the moment and just relied on her cat-like reflexes and speed. Nova herself, like Kaori, jumped from glider to glider, rather than attempt any jutsu at the moment, she even let her flight cancel out. She hit each of the UHV with her massive paws and ripped into them with claws and fangs. between the two of them they managed to clear out the last of the airborn glider users. Kaori then stole a glider from her last kill and motioned Nova to get on,
"Earth bound we go!" She called to the tiger. Nova nodded and launched off of one glider and onto the one Kaori had... commandeered. Kaori was no mechanic or flight expert, but she managed to get it to the ground, without killing them or their allies. But the glider wasn't completely as lucky. It actually hit one of the straggling ground troops. She wasn't sure how, but they had managed to land near Theodin once more. "Don't you just love long enthusiastic walks in the desert?" Nova asked as she flexed her bloodstained claws. Kaori flicked a bit of dangling skin, or was that a jugular?, off of her own claws "Actually, yes. It's very.... relaxing." Kaori laughed.

-----To keep track of all the death and destruction that followed proved to be an impossibility in this case. Three giant snakes now paraded in this location, bloody chunks falling from the sky, more explosions that showed the true power of a Korabo, and so much more. Above, his thirsting tendrils reached out for more of the ships, continuing to disrupt their aerial maneuverings to the best of their ability. Yet...that wasn't enough. In the distance, enemies were still somewhere launching mortars at the village, shattering the sand shield that lay above and the buildings within the village. Those...those would need seeing to. But for the moment the concern was those who were still in the sky, and the pillars that he could see below were causing pain to the shinobi who were defending the village. Jack's eyes turned downwards, towards the pillars, but realized that while he had a means of defeating them it would endanger those nearby. Instead, he had another plan, to stop the flyers once and for all. Looking back to the skies, Jack felt the presence of his shinobi nearby, the ANBU that had been watching him since the attack began.
-----Without taking his eyes off of those above, Jack spoke, knowing his words would be captured and repeated. "Inform everyone that no matter what they are about to see or hear, it is not real." It made sense for these shinobi to be here even now. Should he have turned against Suna at this time, he would need to be taken out nearly immediately, lest his attacks help decimate allied forces. Yet it was sure to startle them that he knew, for they were superb at their job. Yet his vision told him of all life forces in the area, including theirs. Without paying attention, Jack knew they would relay this information to everyone through the radio they likely all wore, and so they would all be warned. Slowly, Jack brought his cane above his head once more, the tip pointing to the darkening forces above. His illusion was changing, the darkness spreading even further outwards, spreading towards the enemy forces in the distance. It spread out at most a mile from here, but perhaps that would be enough to unnerve them. At the epicenter of the shadows, however, where the monstrous tendrils came from, there came a rumbling, a deep quivering in the darkness that caused a ripple to move outwards, not unlike a pond as a large fish neared the surface. As it happened, Jack slowly rotated his cane without lowering his arm, until the tip of the cane, a beautiful sapphire with a silver skull trapped within, touched the hollow of his throat. And when he spoke no words came from his mouth, none at all. But what did came from above in a voice that could be heard as a deep rumbling leagues away. A deep inhalation first, and then words that formed from a voice born of nightmare and birthed beyond the precipice of sanity. "Freeeeee....I am freeeeee..." The sky cracked again, thunder that splintered the shadows and sky, until the sound of metal twisted beyond its bounds rang out across the lands. "Thou shalt suffer the end of all things..."
-----Raising the cane from his throat, Jack raised his other hand to join its twin upon the cane's grip. Slowly he rotated it, the holes for the flute portion creating a low whistling noise, haunting in nature, with each turn. As he did so, as he concentrated his chakra through the sounds that were even now echoing with his power, Jack cast yet another jutsu, though odd in nature. The Haze Clone technique, which normally spawned hundreds of clones of himself that were near physical, instead spawned hundreds and hundreds of faceless and ghost-like entities above, within the clouds of his Genjutsu. Were that to be enough, surely many would have been surprised, and probably scared, but that was not the end. The final part was born of a jutsu Jack had created by sheer accident, the intended effect backfiring into something else entirely. A memory flashed into his mind, a face with ears and tail of a cat, agony spelled across in letters that should have scorched the sky with their fury. Shadow had been the last person who had been effected by this technique, and it had cost him dearly. But this time, he would not allow his lack of control to harm another. Fiammetta's words came to him then, words that described so well that Truth can be determined by those who were friends or allies. Perhaps this would be a time to see what Truth would be born of such things, hm? The instant his mind was made up, the Mad Carny of Kirigakure no Sato brought his cane down with a deafening crack that brought out screams and cries from above, howls of pain, horror, and rage beyond human understanding echoing and howling from everywhere at once. Above, the images of the ghosts were replaced, becoming something...worse. These bodies then fell from the sky, through the clouds, the hundreds falling towards those below.
-----Those who landed first were clones that landed on the cockpits of the enemy ships still remaining in the sky. These clones would land on all fours, clinging to the surface with ease. They were translucent, near-solid figures without definition...until they lifted their faces to look at the UHV hiding away behind glass and consoles. The faces that they all saw were different for each individual, but the importance would be the same: the faces of those who were most important, or most feared, by them. These individuals would hear the images of these ghostly figures screaming profanities, hatreds, or just howling in agony or horror. And worse, the longer they stared the more the images would slightly change, warping, becoming something more horrific in nature, as if those who they saw were being possessed or changed by the monstrous being above. These same figures would bang on the glass, screaming, howling to be let in, to be saved, to be destroyed, to destroy the soldiers within. Below, those enemy forces below covered by the steam of the eight headed snake created by the Kazekage would hear thuds from all sides as more Haze Clones plowed into the ground, standing up as amorphous figures that changed to match the faces of those suffered from above. Any enemy, or ally, would see these things when looking at them. But the forces below were worse off, for more figured began to writhe and howl as they pulled themselves out of the earth, out of fallen, dead bodies, becoming both what they feared and loved the most until they became warped and jaded shadows of their original images.
-----Jack's eyes blazed with scarlet fury, his Kekkei Genkai strengthening his jutsu beyond the point of a Kai. No, if these enemies wanted out, they would need to threaten their own lives to risk freedom, though if Jack played this right they would be too distracted to fly properly, and would cause them to either scatter, or crash and burn.

The Illusionary Terrain jutsu is being used to cause a ruckus and make people swerve into one another. The tendrils are fast and Jack will be making them move after the enemies. If they are resistant to Genjutsu, and highly at that, the tendrils would seem slightly translucent. Whether this means it's unreal or not is up to them to figure out~. On a side note, if I miss anything from anyone about their posts, let me know. I read it all,but it's hard to keep everything in mind in a post. So...let me know if I need to edit! ALSO! What Jack told the ANBU? You all get that in your radios in your ears!

In addition to this, if the afflicted manages to find out they are in a genjutsu, it will require an additional [15] chakra for them to activate Kai. It also takes as much to use this technique.
|•| Techniques Used |•| • Hekireki Koe no Jutsu [ Thunder Voice Technique ] || → Cloud E Rank → This Genjutsu is very simple. Upon its execution, the target is made to hear the user's voice at an astoundingly amplified level. This is a Genjutsu often used by academy teachers to awaken students that fall asleep in class. •Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu [ Haze Clone Technique ] → D Rank → Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Rain Genin team lead by Oboro. Oboro Bunshin is a normal Bunshin technique that created approximately a hundred clones of their Genin team. Due to the number of clones created, Oboro and his team can take the opportunity to hide from their target. To attack their target they will hide in the shadows of the clones and attack from underground.
• The Departed's Retribution → B Rank Genjutsu → In order to use this technique, Jack must have already summoned haze clones, as many as he can. However, instead of them being copies of himself the images take on the appearance of shadowy humanoids. Now, then, Jack can use this jutsu. By forming the handsigns Rat-Ox-Horse-Bird the faces and bodies of the Haze Clones are altered. They now appear as the most important people in the targets' lives who had died, whether the most loved or hated, and they speak of how horrible the target is, bringing up forgotten crimes and misdeeds, failed missions and such, in order to assault the psyche of the targets. This can be used to speak other things as well, if desired.
|•| Techniques Active |•| • Illusionary Terrain → A Rank Genjutsu [Already → By activating this genjutsu, Jack is able to alter the terrain for up to a mile [1 Mile] in diamater per user rank. The change is completely illusory, but can be changed into almost anything. Those affected see the world entirely as real, but those unaffected see the illusion as slightly translucent, and may walk through it harmlessly should they desire, if they believe it to be unreal.

The Monster of the Mist
"I Must Drag Truth Kicking and Screaming into the Light"
The Hatake continued his climb along the wire connecting to the ship above. As he drew closer to the engineering quarters he drew his fingers along the wakizashi the genin had gifted him before he undertook the journey up the wires, a fine scabbard of chakra dancing along the blade as he did so. Finally reaching the entrance to the quarters he slid in through the entrance and approached the stunned grunts in the quarters. A thin smile drawing over his lips as he did so.
"Well now, isn't it a reversal of fortune? Someone else is darkening the skies over your head and I have come to collect the reaper's due." The dour Hatake remarked as he drew his blade back.
Unleashing a severe rain of blows upon those within the room he unveiled the Tetsu no Ryu [ Many as One ] Technique, aiming each of his blows upon the various grunts in the room, aiming to lay them low in their panicked state. His eyes scanned the room as he did so, determining the exit from the room, and he turned to face it, keeping his opponents between himself and it before unleashing the [ Pressure Wave ] Technique, slicing the blow towards his opponents and through the doorway should it connect.
"Let's get this bird out of the air." He told himself as he drew himself into a composed position, ready to take on whatever they would have to throw at him.

[Techniques Utilized:]
Chakra Scabbard Complex :: Rank B [ Stamina 40 Chakra 20 ] After mastering two techniques, Iaido and any one other, a student is capable of awakening the true signature of the Tetsu no Ryu. A Samurai's blade becomes rife with pure chakra that crackles and dances around the blade. A blade properly focused is quite capable of cutting through even the thickest steel. • Active until battle ends or turned off. • Increases to Rank C after learning [ Form Manipulation. ] • Increases to Rank B after learning [ Two As One. ] • Chakra cost DOES increase as rank increases.
Many as One Complex :: Rank A [ Stamina 80 Chakra 40 ] A complex pattern of blows converge on the target. You may make five [5] blows with the chakra sabers and one with your real sword. All the attacks are real, and they can all pierce your opponent's sword if they are foolish enough to normally block you!
Pressure Wave Complex :: Rank C [ Stamina 20 Chakra 10 ] When swinging your weapon, you can create a crescent shaped chakra wave, five feet wide by one foot long, that can travel up to about 100ft before dissipating. A hit from it can be as strong or possibly even stronger than a normal blow. Unfortunately- it leaves your katana without a chakra scabbard and you must activate it again. • Max distance: 100ft. • Cannot be reused for a minimum of five [5] posts until Stage Three is mastered. • Can be reused in three [3] posts at Stage Four. • Can be reused in two [2] posts at Stage Five+.

Knives was getting a little tired of the mortar fire getting through his shield. "Oh come on seriously?!" "Well that should affect those pretty well." he said before having his clone help him to summon a secondary dome since the first was failing it was time to re-enforce the shield, this time making it even tougher than before.
"It looks like Hatake has the ship handled but just in case." Knives nodded to his clone as he threw a package of the left over jars from Saraswati as he put them and a large amount of boulders into the larger of the cannons and focused as best as he could on the large ships to bring down the obvious flag ships of the fleet. The clone activated the cannons and they let out a boom towards the ships.

Theodin watched as almost all of the UHV ships were blasted out of the air until these giant black towers land and he got hit with one hell of a shock, causing him to have an odd feeling that he couldn’t mold his chakra correctly. Looking around quickly he saw two huge snakes cooling the lava and throwing gliders at the towers, apparently destroying them, which confused him until he saw the raiton disc flying at the large ship and noticed Ayame standing on the head of one of the snakes. ‘Wait, but mom’s dead, I saw it with my own eyes’ he thought to himself.
After a minute or so he realized she had tricked them, and was happy that she was still alive, but still pretty mad at her. When Kaori and Nova landed next to him, he snapped out of it and chuckled, “Yeah, looks like you two are having fun.” After a few seconds, he figured time to get back to fighting, and turned to his old teammates, “I have an idea, let’s try this!” he said as he grabbed Kaori by the back of her armor and her leg and spun, launching her at the UHV forces head-first. Using the momentum of his spin, Theo dropped his weight as he turned back around and grabbed Nova by the skin of her back before bursting up with his legs and swinging his arms with everything he had to launch the 500lbs tiger through the air after its tamer. With that done, he looked to the satetsu girl he’d been fighting beside, a serious, but surprisingly caring look in his eyes, “You may be powerful with your ninjutsu, but it appears the enemy has taken away our ability to mold chakra for the time being, so stay safe. I’m heading back into the thick of things and won’t be able to protect you.” He wasn’t sure why he even bothered telling the girl this, but for some reason he wanted to make sure she’d be as safe as possible, given the circumstances.
Just as Theo began his charge into the fray, he heard a creepy voice and started seeing things attacking the uhv. Though a second or two later he heard over his communicator that it was just a genjutsu, so ignored them and kept on with his charge. Reaching the enemy lines, Theodin grabbed the first soldier he saw by the throat, crushing the soldier’s windpipe in his hand before throwing the quickly dying person at the group behind him. The next poor sap to end up within Theo’s reach was punched in the face before having his head smashed repeatedly into the side of a UHV tank. He’d swoop down ad grab the next guy by his ankle before ripping the enemy’s legs out from under him, swing him around to use his head as a club against other soldiers. He felt the animalistic bloodlust he’d inherited from his mom well up within him as he continued on this path of savage brutality.

Falling to the ground at an accelerated rate she allowed herself to drop like a star towards the earth. Satisfied with herself after seeing the entire aerial fleet, save for two enormous ships, be taken out by her. At the last moment iron sand embraced her and gently stood her on her feet. Gracing the sands with her touch as she looked towards the sun. Determination settled within her eyes as she watched several black towers rise from the ground. Seeing a white haired shinobi approach her and practically tell her she needed to stand back irritated the hell out of her. None the less she remained on edge as she awaited the use of her iron sand again. Waiting for the time to strike her opponents yet again.
As monsters lashed through the sky and lava flowed, ice swirled and wind blew, one of the giant eight headed creatures would give another roar to the sky, another sound of pure fury unleashed to add to the chaos of the battle
James clones would drop into water as the cost of keeping them became to high for the owner of the technique, but the giant eight headed snake, with several heads destroyed or ablaze, would charge the towers that tossed airships didn't down, using their great mass and momentum to smash into the towers like falling buildings.
Bast was standing a top the crevice as the black towers rained down upon the earth below her. Glancing back at the barriers, she could feel something trying its best to interfere with her abilities. With the shield partially gone, she moved back a few dozen paces and spent the chakra necessary to maintain the two barriers that covered the village. (just under the sand shields) As the two barriers lowered themselves down to in front of her, she drew out her scroll, ink well, and pen, setting them down on the warm stone. Unfurling both edges, they rolled out until she had enough room to draw the entire visible landscape.
Dipping her pen in the well, her head snapped up as the desert... shifted. Of all things, the desert is calm, relaxed, patient, and complacent, but when a gigantic force threatens to destroy its very being, it will move. Akin to a rough sea, the edges visible in the distance billowed, moving up and down as the golem awoke. Sand particles around the ten black pillars seized, drawing back as if the pillars were even more fearsome to it, swirling about before suddenly plummeting to beneath the ground. All around the entrance the sand retreated into the ground, perforating it on its retreat to other places. And just like that, several tens of more feet were added to the height of the crevice as the ground lowered to the bedrock. Stunned momentarily, Bast's hand wavered before beginning to draw the new landscape: one without a desert.
In her ear, she could hear words of genjutsu, talk of large snakes, Ayame returning from the dead, fires blazing out of control, Yamanaka Ibara wandering out from her abode, and of Mamorus standing atop the Kazekage's office as something gigantic loomed over the main part of the village. There was simply too much to concentrate upon, of the map, to pay attention to much else. She trusted that the barriers and the sand shields would keep up as the shinobi destroyed the fleet, so that her next move would alter the landscape.

This combo is still... enacting. XD Houshi no Jutsu [ Spore Technique ] Rank: X Official Description: Houshi no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Akatsuki member Zetsu. After dispersing his spores in the air, Zetsu can create clones which feed off the Chakra of the hosts to grow. These spore clones will start growing on a time release schedule set by Zetsu. When the clones have finished gathering enough Chakra, they can leave the host and transfer the stolen Chakra to another ninja they touch. The technique is so skillful, that even Kage level ninja do not realize they've been infected until the spore clone starts its growth. A ninja of sufficient skill can remove the spore clones before they fully remove their Chakra. Guild Description: See official description. Up to 1 S-ranked amount per post during its growth stage.
This korabo'd with this:
Kiiro Ryuu no Tameiki [ Sigh of the Yellow Dragon ] Rank: S Official Description: Often considered to be a great Shinobi's trademark technique the few who have ever seen it have gazed in awe at the complete output of Chakra one would have to use in order to perform such a move as this. Placing but one single hand on the opponent the Shinobi delivers a huge debilitating shock to his or her target, forcing the target to his or her knees. The Shinobi then generates an excessively huge amount of Raiton Chakra that turns the target's body to ash and crumbles away. Some who have claimed to have seen the move in action say that a human-sized flying snake can be seen wrapped around the Shinobi. Guild Description: See official description.
Orochi would do a good job of extinguishing the lava at the crevice. If he wanted to sink his fangs into any of those tasty, tasty ships he'd have to go outside. Ayame's lightning disk crashed against the large ship's shield and fizzled out, but something strange had happened on the way there: half the remaining ships, most of which were melting, had followed the trajectory of the disk up and away from the ground, even though none of them was in flying condition. The earthen shuriken peppered the shield, which had not yet fallen, and provided cover for these strange undead craft. Something inside these ships had reached full maturity.
Kaori and Nova would each claim exactly one glider before the rest suddenly gunned it, fleeing out of their range. As the girl and her cat landed on the ground, their gliders liquefied without any apparent heat and fell to the ground with a "bloop". The two would shortly be launched back upward through the smoke by Theodin, but all three of them would soon come to a realization: there were practically no individual troops left. All the equipment on the ground--from tanks to armors--suddenly liquefied in the same manner as the glider had, leaving the area empty.
Jack would feel very strongly that his illusions were working, but the ships that remained in the sky showed no signs of moving in response. The forces on the ground broke out of their charge and fled in different directions as the zombies began to rise. These illusions would start to quickly fade away if nothing was done, however, as the towers were suppressing the Chakra. Had it not been for the Sakkakugan, it almost seemed as if his Genjutsu never would have reached these forces. A sample of the action inside many of the ships affected: most of the UHV had retreated from the cockpits and were terrified to return, fearing the slightly translucent tentacles; as corpses fell from the sky, somewhere in the fleet, someone started to sing softly: "Hallelujah... it's raining men..."
Meanwhile, aboard the Vega, Masahiro was busy slaughtering men and women who were--for the most part--too terrified to fight back. Most of them acted as if they had not seen him at all, tentacles reflected in their eyes. After clearing the room of seven workers, he would feel the Chakra dissipate out of his techniques. Outside the room he would find a hallway, on the other side of which was another bay much like the one he had come in through. He would be the first to notice something strange was happening when the lights overhead flickered thrice and then dimmed...
Knives' shields, combined with Bast's barriers, would prove enough to completely shield the Village from mortar assaults. Now that the enemy was not as closely packed, he had practically no collateral damage as a result of his cannons. A few shots would strike the ship he had aimed at, the rest falling short of the target. Part of the armored plating on the ship fell away, exposing an engine room with a hole just wide enough for a person to slip through, if they could reach the underside of the ship.
James would crash through two of the towers with some difficulty, and everyone outside the Gates would immediately feel slightly lighter. After the second, though, he would find himself heavily injured from the feat and would start struggling to make himself go forward. It seemed these towers were not fragile.
The sirens on the ships would collectively die down for a second, then crackle back to life, this time projecting a woman's voice out over the arena:
"Attention Sunagakure: This is your best opportunity to surrender. Any further fighting will end poorly for you. To my troops: my apologies."
Every single one of the ships still in commission--except, of course, the half-melted ones that had hurtled after Ayame's Lightning Disk--crackled with green light. Those that had been falling came out of their nosedives and hovered above the now-exposed bedrock. A rain of senbon came from their cannons again, raking across the ground toward those outside the gate with B-Rank force. All the while, a rain of lava from the open hatches of the same ships would drown the area in molten rock, including, perhaps, anyone out there still.
Something heavy would land on Bast's barriers. Light green energy would crackle across their surfaces, causing them to crack and shatter like glass. Bast, since she was still maintaining them, would get a powerful shock and would find it very difficult to focus her Chakra enough to launch anything significant.
Mortars hit: - None? - A new challenger appears!
Towers Remaining: 8.
Battlefield effects: - Bast: Cannot use Chakra above B-Rank. - Partially inundated with smoke. Breathing on the ground can be difficult and visibility is low. - Sirens going off, drowning out almost all other sounds. - Black Towers are present: All Jutsu cost one B-Rank amount of Chakra more per post to sustain. Ongoing Jutsu are ended unless this additional Chakra is paid immediately. No further Jutsu can be activated while outside the gates.
Like a blur across the ground Nariomi raced though the city bouncing off of the houses walls and onto roofs then up to the top of the Crevice.Without missing a beat he moved next to the former Kazekage Bast and raced though a string of seals extending his hand. As he did so an emerald sheen appeared in the air between the two of them and the incoming volley of senbon. Once the volley finished raining down around them he pulled his black bow from its quiver on his lower back as well as one of two emerald arrows. Taking a deep breath he listened to the message and falling upon his training he picked the largest ship he could spot. The one that the voice came from. Turning to Bast he smiled,"Allow me to deliver the rebuke to their request." With a smile he knocked the emerald arrow and drew his bow back to its full draw. Taking the time to line up the shot so that if for some reason he missed the ship it would sail towards one of the towers. After a moment he loosed the emerald arrow and with a smile watched it fly with unparallelled accuracy. IF/WHEN the arrow found its mark the seals upon it would ignite in a very massive explosion that was capable of removing sections of forest from the map. He was curious about the amount of damage it would do to the ship. Though if for some miraculous reason the arrow missed its mark it would detonate within range of one of the towers so either way his answer would be had by them.

Watching the UHV soldier and machinery melt away, Theodin looked around confused for a second before seeing the lava coming down. “Kaori, Nova, Look out!” he shouted above the sound of the battle, as he retreated back towards the walls of the village to escape the lava, taking the senbon blast to the back, thankful that he had his ANBU armor to protect him from most of them. Once he was nearer to the wall, he heard the voice from the uhv radio telling them to surrender. This only served to piss him off even more, as it would any Suna-nin.
Thinking of something, he remember the explosive tags he’d bought , smacking himself in the side of the head for forgetting about them. Digging into his bag, he found them fairly quickly and headed for the nearest tower at full speed. He’d slap a tag onto each of two adjacent sides of the tower before going to the next, continuing this pattern until he’d tagged seven of the eight remaining towers. The last one received a single high explosive tag.
When he’d finished laying his explosive he raced back to the gates, or what was left of them, and stared back at the enemy defiantly as he triggered the tags to all detonate at once, blowing out the bases of the towers, the shaped charges crossing through the tower, causing them to topple under their own weight as if chopping down a tree.

I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection.
Kaori and Nova just barely managed to avoid the in coming lava, and only because of quick thinking and their feline-spines and musculatures. They shared a look and dodged as many of the senbon as they could, though with the ones they couldn't dodge, Kaori was a little more lucky in that she was wearing her ANBU grade armor to help protect her petite form. Nova's larger form took more damage, but she also had a thicker hide, so it wasn't as bad as it could have potentially been. They raced as fast as they could to relative safety, just to watch as Theodin's tags detonated. Nova smirked, while Kaori shook her head,
"Did he forget he had those?!" The tiger-nin demanded, miffed. Nova huffed, "I wanna know how the ******** he threw me. I'm not exactly tiny like you are." Kaori gave her partner a look that could melt steel, "Funny." She grumbled, she'd get her revenge on Theodin for being tossed like a ragdoll after all this was over.
'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.
Ayame would tap Orochi on the head on and he would then take out the lava once again as Daichi would create a swamp in front of the crevice to stop the lava if they did it again. She would then add her lightning to the swamp which would arc in and about a foot above the water. Hitting anything that dared get too close.

-----While he could easily have defended himself against the attack, the rain of metal death from above, Jack had more pressing concerns on his mind. So instead of doing something himself, he gestured for one of the ANBU to defend him instead as he focused upon the sky where his illusion was slowly, very slowly, beginning to fade. While the Sunagakure no Sato shinobi likely did not like the idea, one did step forward and spin mightily, utilizing a form of chakra Jack had not seen in a while to deflect the attacks away from them. But even as he did this Jack focused on the sky, where the crackling green energy had burst through the protective shell of the village proper. He watched, too, as ships that should have been effected not only failed to react according to established psyche studies but began to dissolve instead. Through smoke and heat his eyes should still be able to see something, some sort of life force were one to exist, and though he knew he should be focusing on that first he had something else in mind that would likely help him in a more instant fashion.
-----Firstly, Jack tapped his cane on the ground, causing the tentacles in the sky to retract into the clouds, the bodies to stop falling, and finally the clouds to disperse, allowing sunlight to be returned to the world below. Genjutsu like this being stopped told him that his enemy was stronger than he had anticipated, but then, the part of his mind that was realistic stated that he could not take everyone on at once, or else he would not need this alliance at all. Snorting at the thought, Jack turned his eyes to the lava below, watching as the Kazekage's wolf created a swamp to combat the molten disaster. Someone else had entered the field of battle, a Sunagakure shinobi that he had failed to witness before, so the name and rank escaped him for the moment. His vision then turned as explosions ripped across the battlefield, clouds of smoke rising from the bases of the towers that so disrupted chakra in all those present. Whoever had done it was fast, that much was certain. Turning eyes back to the field, Jack looked upwards at the sky again, and realized that he needed to see everything from above. He had to know what was shooting these globs of green energy, and what these liquified forces were doing. So, bringing his flute to his lips, Jack gently nicked one side of his mouth with his teeth, exposing blood as a catalyst for the technique, and played a single note. The instant that note, a high C, rang out there was a pop followed by the rolling of white steam from beside him. Where once Jack had been alone, now there stood an enormous hornet with shaggy white fur. She was enormous, the size of a village plaza, and the only reason she wasn't falling was due to her feet sticking to the surface of the structure they were on.
-----A voice filled with dirision, disgust, and bees came to him then, sounding nothing short of anything but a queen's authority. "What right do you have to summon me to a battlefield, Snipe?" While the tone was quite aggressive, her posture was not, though she did twitch her stinger as she caught the scent of burning death in the distance and the blood spilled across the field of battle.
-----Jack smiled without looking at her, a small upturning of the lips to show he was amused at her words and tone. She viewed herself as superior to all, even her original summoner and Sasagaicha. "I would not presume to summon you, Buzachi, were it not for a great need. Enemies behave oddly across the field, and above an enemy has shattered the largest and most powerful defense I've seen. I need to know who attacks us, and for that I need you."
-----There was a hiss of annoyance from the bee, as if she had been stabbed. "Then summon Befreety! I am no servant to your will!"
-----Her rant was cut short when Jack spoke once more, though his voice was calm and his demeanor respectful. "I would, but I need power, and danger, should enemy forces attack. You are by far faster, smarter, and incredibly terrible to your foes. I implore your aid, both as summoner and as an ally." Buzachi believed herself a queen, above everyone she met, so to speak to her with calmness and respect was the only way to get a message through to her. Taking a slow breath, Jack continued looking at the sky, waiting for the reply he knew she would make. When she dipped her head down with a growl, he knew he had her. Using a bit of Stamina to increase his ability to jump, Jack leaped onto her back, looking down at the two ANBU below. "I go above to witness what I can of the enemy forces. I would ask for a radio, to communicate." At first they seemed to not hear him, but then a radio was flung at his face. Catching it smoothely, Jack nodded to the two before putting it on and looking back to the sky. "Buzachi, we must rise with all haste. Go as high as you dare with me upon your back."
-----An instant later Jack was flying through the air, the mighty wings of the Queen of Bees resonating around him with a flurry. The buzzing was intense, but with his coat collar turned up it did allow him to muffle the noise to a degree. As they rose above the field of battle, above where the dome had been, Jack turned his eyes upon the entire area, looking for the blazes of life energy within the ships as they dissolved, within the forces below, but also the skies above. He had to know what was coming, and soon, but this did not mean he did not watch around him. He needed to know where that green goop had come from that had shattered the dome, after all.

"I Must Drag Truth Kicking and Screaming into the Light"
James force of will held the form of eight branches just for a moment before the lava burned and explosion damaged giant creature melted away to leave James standing in his armor, anger still blaring out from his eyes, his hypersenses screaming as he dashed back to the gates with almost inhuman speed born from his years of training, natural aptitude, and prowess in hand to hand combat. He leapt up the walls, landing and looking expectantly as Keir, his companion panther, appeared with a bag.
James would launch the bag into the air as, his chakra now free began to swirl with ice, forming one of James Iconic Jutsu, The ice Valkyrie. The contents of the bag would flutter out, revealing for the briefest moment shaped high explosive notes before eight of them wrapped in the ice.
James would soon stand with his Valkyrie loaded, and he spun to aim and unleash two cracks of supersonic air through the barrel of the long weapon.
James knew that the half inch ice projectiles, even traveling at there supersonic speeds, would not do much to the two yet untouched towers he had fired on, but the shaped high explosive notes that he was delivering to them might be a very different matter, as James had seen the same type of tower fall to them before.
