Selena came close to the crib and looked down at Haven, her head tipped to the side, seeing the way he looked at her. "You're strong..." She whispered, showing her small fangs to the baby, showing she had them too, even if they were about the size as his. "But still young..." She rested her chin and arm on the bar of the crib, looking down at him, "If you grow up strong enough, would you protect others...like me?" She thought of Vulcan and Lucifer. Both strong men who had looked out for her. "Babies...like singing...don't they?" She spoke to him as though she expected him to understand every word and to answer.

Vulcan smirked at her comment for he was quite happy to be where he was. Looking down to his mistress the male held his hand up once more watching the purple flame form in his palm. It was so different from his own but yet it did not burn. clenching his fist he wished such things did not have to happen. Before he had begun hearing the voices he was another slave that could control the element fire. Now it seemed he had possibly been in hell before...."Can't hurt, that bad" he smirked. Leaning up slightly he kissed the top of her head as he continued rubbing her back.

When Death and Selena were out of the room Lucifer looked down at her and sighed. "ALura... I don't know what you heard but none of it is true. You are my one and only mate." He said looking down into her eyes. He removed his helmet and met her eyes, "I don't know why you think that I would take Selena as a mate. She is a powerful Allie. I am still upset with her for attempting to harm you. But as you saw she seems to have her emotions under control now." Lucifer set his helmet down and returned his gaze to her eyes, "Why are you being so distant from me...?"

Lurana watched as he created the violet flame. She didn't understand why it was such a color since her own fire was either red or black. Lurana put it out of her mind and looked up at him. "Even if it didn't hurt... I don't want to lose you..." SHe whispered pressing her face agaisnt his chest.

Lucifer looked down into her eyes and his eyes narrowed. He gently cupped her chin to make him look up at her and looked into her eyes, "Who has been insulting you?" Lucifer's eyes were no longer the soft gentle ones she knew. They were that of the ruler of Hell and master of pain and deception. "Tell me and I will make them pay... And as for this rumor..." Lucifer picked his helmet back up and scooped her up into his arms, "We settle this once and for all..." He growled carrying her towards the window. Before jumping out he pat Haven's head and smiled. "Be a good boy."
'Death... You are to watch Haven until I return.' Lucifer orderd within his mind.

Outside the room Death nodded and slowly walked in watching Lucifer fly into the air with Alura securly in his arms. He sighed feeling bad for Alura having to deal with such rumors and critizisum. But that's what came with the package of being queen. Death entered the room and left the door open for Selena if she wanted to come back in aswell. He walked over to the crip and scooped Haven into his arms, "Hey little man! How you doing?" Death said smiling and genlty played with Haven's hands.

"Let's clear the air..." Lucifer said softly and flew back towards the area of Hell where his demons called home. As he flew the demons below bowed and chanted their praise to him. Lucifer landed ontop of one of the tallest buildings and looked down at all his minions. "LET IT BE KNOWN!" Lucifer roared, "THAT ALURA IS MY MATE AND FOREVER SHALL BE MINE AND QUEEN OF HELL!!"
The demons below cheered and roared with him. Most did it out of love for Lucifer. Othres did it out of fear of being dragged to the frozen Hell Lucifer had revealed to them if they ever upset him.

Back at the castle, Death held Haven close and sat down on the floor with him. "Look what Uncle Death brough for you." He said smling and pulled out a black sphere. "You'll know how to use it when you're older. But for now it will just be a toy." he said smling and placed the light ball in his hands.

Selena stood at the doorway watching Death with the baby and blinked, "Did they really thing that Lord Lucifer would take me as a mate?" She asked, finding everything Alura said to be absurd. Why would anyone want her to bare their young? She was too skinny, almost no hips to give birth with. Not to mention he deformities. She stepped in and looked down at Haven, "You don't like me." She sighed, "Its alright, no one does...but I would like to touch you..." She said quietly, "No one ever let me be this close to one of you before." She looked to Death, "He doesn't talk much, is he broken?"

Selena frowned, "I know what he is, but that doesn't give him the right to be rude." She came nearer, but gave Haven his space as she looked him over. She pulled her wings around herself and watched Haven intently, "I wonder if he'll hate me when he's grown too." She whispered, never good at keeping thoughts in her head, "Most do...so I won't blame you if you follow suit...but I would still like to touch you while your small...would that be alright?" She slowly inched her hand out, just wanting to know what a baby felt like. "You...look soft. You won't when you're older. Noone but you are soft down here." For someone who didn't know Selena, this would seem creepy and strange. Yet, if any understood her, they'd know that this was her reaching out to something pure, and hoping not to be turned away. She just wanted to know what innocence felt like, and in hell, a baby was as innocent as it got.
