When it was a little after eight in the morning Melody had jolted awake. She was breathing heavily and she was feeling so cold. She looked over at Mabel and wondered why she was able to stay so close to her freezing body. She shrugged it off and crawled over her. After putting on a robe she headed downstairs and prepared herself some hot chocolate. She went into her study room and lit the fireplace, then sat close to the fire. Even with being so close, she still felt so cold.

Toby slowly got up and rubbed his eyes, "Best nights sleep I've yet" he said to himself as he put on some new clothes and decided he'd have to get his old ones sown. He headed downstairs.

Melody's ears twitched as she heard creaking coming from the floor above. She looked up at the ceiling and followed the noise. After she looked at the door she turned back to the fire and sipped at her coco. Soon she felt too cold that she wrapped a thick blanket around her.

Upon arriving at the bottom of stairs, Toby could smell a fire, "Must be Mabel... or it could be Melody." he followed the smell to the study room door and knocked.

Melody adjusted the blanket around her and looked at the door again. "You may enter." She took a couple more sips of her coco before turning her attention to the fire. She was starting to feel a little warmer, but she was somehow still shivering.
((Sorry! So tired right now... >3< I don't know what I was doing. xD))

Toby entered the study room and looked around for a few minutes registering where he was, he then looked at Melody who was sitting in front of the fire wrapped in a warm-looking blanket, "Isn't it a bit early to be cold." he teased.

Melody smiled slightly as she glanced over at Toby. "It's never too early for anything. Most of the time at least..." She rubbed at her nose before taking another drink. She looked back at the fire and sneezed.

Toby walked over and sat next to Melody, when he heard her sneeze he offered her his handkerchief, "Sounds like you're catching a cold."

Melody took the the handkerchief and held it tightly in her hands. "Aww, I guess the warm bath didn't work... And apparently it wasn't too early to get cold." She pouted slightly as she drank some more of her coco, which was now almost gone.

Toby laughed at what she said, "Well going swimming to close dusk isn't exactly a healthy choice." he stated.

Melody grumbled to herself as she stood up. "It seemed a good idea at the time. Anyways, I'm going to make myself some tea now." She drank the rest of the hot coco then headed out to the kitchen. She filled a kettle with water and set it on the stove, also taking out some tea.

Toby shrugged and said before she left, "If you need help with anything just call for me" Toby basked in the warmth of the fire, it made him sleepy, he curled up in front of the fire like what dogs do.

After the kettle began to whistle she poured the water into her cup then set the tea bags in it. She yawned as she let the water soak up the delicious tea herbs. After it was done she put in some honey and lemon juice then went back to the study room. She sat in front of Toby and propped herself up against him.
((Just wanted to say that we totally made it past 100 pages... 8D ))

Toby opened one eye to see what was going on, then he saw Melody and closed it again, his tail started wagging.
