Orignally there weren't going to be any sibling characters, in fact Claires "orignal" name was Elaza Walker or something along those line. I'm not sure why they went and made Claire now that I think of it. They could have just kept Elaza. Fun fact about Claire. Shes the only reacurring character to still have the same voice actor.

You know I decided to wacth that video and it reminded me of how stupid Rebecca was.

I think it was a good idea to interlock them. The story is just fine to me. I kinda wish they'd release resident evil 1.5 and 3.5 that would be very intersting. And it wouldn't be anther freaking remake of the first game.

Never heard of Tales from the Crypt. By the way you descirbe it sounds kinda like Case Closed/Detective Conan. They only thing linking episodes together is Kudo trying to regain his former body and cacthing the ones that turned him into a child. But different cases aside from a "part episdoes." Which are ethier two parts or 5 or something.

Yeah, i knew that. The reason why they made Claire was so that they could have some type of connection to the first game in the series. They were originally going to develop new characters for each title, with out repeating character appearances I think, but that's the reason why they made Claire so that there'd be a connection to the original characters.

lol she was the youngest member of STARS, she was still a teenager, she was 18. So I think the part fit pretty well, but I am glad that they redid her personality in Zero and Remake, I do not like how they made her out in Umbrella chronicles, they turned her into a dipzy japanese character personality wise, such as Misa is with Death Note...I hate those kinds of characters. Though she was no where near as bad as Misa.

Yeah, I like the fact that they interlocked them as well, made it more of a well thought out process and story, I was just saying that if the adventures had gone off in different directions, taking place at different areas in the world, and not have Umbrella behind it all, just to make it like how a comic book would fold out with the next month release an entirly different adventure if it's not on one of those special commisioned archs. Like if it covered different aspects suchas really having ghosts and goblins in it in different installments, I think that would have been a bit of a fun twist. But as it is now, i wouldn't change it at all with just how awesome it is.

Tales from the Crypt was a comic book series relased years ago, and then turned in to an HBO special tv series. It featured horror stories and what not. Only thing the show ever had in common was the fact that the Crypt keeper was the one always telling the stories.
Well that I really wouldn't like. Leons my favorite character and I loved how his persoinlity changed. I think its good to have reaccuring characters. If there was a new every game there'd probably be difficultly telling who from who.

"I found a reasearch note about the Tyrant virus. We should blow this place up!" That is the single stupidest thing I think I resident evil character ever said. Sure Rebecca make it so we loss all of our evidence and not bring a police squad to the mansion wipe out the rest of the monsters, get the evidence, and have to have the Raccon City Incident. Serousily because of her stupidness the Raccon City incident had no chance of being prevented. For a collage grad shes pretty dumb.

Really? What makes you say that? I could see L saying "Misa please shut up. I can't think when you talk. Its like your voice repeals intelligent thought."

I think if they added ghosts and goblins the fan base would see it as a gaint middle fingure.

well, I was just saying that if each installment featured only new characters, and none of the originals, you'd have more to pick from, but like i said I like the way the main story arch is set, and wouldn't want to see it ruined.

Well, you have to remember that the police were controled by Umbrella, so there's really not much that could have been done. The virus would have ultimatly spread in the first place, the rats were the ones that carried it to the town, remember that when the first game started off, that reports of the virus had been active since before the mansion incident, therefore, the virus had already made it's way to the populace of Raccoon City. So they had to blow the mansion up to take out the greater threats that could have laid dormant in the thing. All the files that you collected went to your file folder, so you, as the investigator of the mansion incident had all the evidence, just that no one would believe just papers. Umbrella was cleaning up the bodies behind the scenes i think with each BOW you took out, I bet you'll see that in the Operation Raccoon City. Reasons why the bodies were never there when you went back, until the crimson heads.

I just can't stand characters like Misa, those dipzy characters always really tick me off, their voice, their personality, their attitude. I was wanting to kill Misa the very first time that I saw her in the Death Note series honestly, saying that she was more powerful than Light, Ha! Not in the least, just because she had the eyes only further showed how stupid she truely was. That's the first thing that ticked me off when she said she was more powerful than Light. Then as her personallity continued to develop through out the series I hated her even more.

You have to think orginally though, they were wanting to put in ghosts and demons. So it would have staied with in original concept, though I certainly much prefer a story that is based in the realms of reality. Gives it an extra feel when you play the game, knowing there's no magic or magical creatures roaming around, and that it's a more realistic setting, it's just a lot more rewarding feeling i'd say when you play games that are within biological and physical realms, makes you get absorbed more into the game, due to possibility of real situations. Even though some of RE's super boss transformations are way crazy, and seem to break reality, there's still an evolutionary process that took place with in that character and that creature that caused it to mutate. not like these bosses you fight that you find out turn out to be gods later on, or from human to dragon transformation, there's still an essence of the person in RE attached to the new transformation.

I think that Sadler's transformation was the most crazy, and unrealistic transformation compaired to all the others we saw.

Uroboros was over the top to, but it was an unstable creation in the first place.
I don't know about that. Dissapearing bodies was probably just how they got rid of the bodies than. Like how you could only 3 areas of the body in the first games.

Chances are Misa died young. She may have lived to about 80 but the eye trade would half that to 40 and she did it again so it'd be 20. Misa proabably died mid-late twenties. After awhile though Death Note started to bore me. About 90% of each episode and volume of manga was probably internal monolage. Or just talking. MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN ALREADY!! And ever notice how L doesn't seem to make many deducations?

Well ya Resident Evil and Fire Emblem are very different games.

Really Saddlers? What about Salazar or Irving?

Which made that much more intersting. Every other virus was more or less done. The G-virus may have been a little unstable but not to much.

lol I don't know, It's just a theory i have going on, with what new content may be introduced in Operation Raccoon City. We shall see.

Misa, in the Anime threw her self off of a building, or so they alluded to. In the Manga, she continued on, I have the 12 volume, and you didn't see anything of her after her car ride back home. I loved Death Note though, it was a different type of anime, not this generic stuff we've been bombarded with such as Bleach, or Naruto. I think she was past 20 in the final volumes of the manga though, since it did cover, I think, like 6 years, if not more. I'll have to check the final date again when it was that Light died. and that Misa was 18 when she first met Light I do believe is what they said.

Lol ah yeah, I totally forgot about Salazar and Irving's transformations, so yeah, there's were over the top to I would say. Though, I think that Saddler's happened the quickest, though the process of evolution of that Master plaga in him could have been happening for years, just to go from being a 6 foot tall human, to this 30 foot monster in mear seconds, and that it was hiding in his body, it was a bit crazy lol.

But yeah, I'd have to say those three were totally over the top, along with Excella's as well. So a total of 4 very crazy mutations in just mear moments. Those are the ones that I'd have the hardest time to believe, though again with Uroboros being so volotile and unstable like it was, it was only expected to happen with Irving and Excella. Then again, maybe the producers wanted to go all out for RE5 lol.
The closest thing to an action scene we get in the serise is when they stormed Mellos hideout but that was really. Now I'm not the guy who only likes action. I enjoy things like Case Closed/Detective Conan, and even Fruits Basket. But a little something would be nice aside from wacthing people talk and thinking to them selfs. I mean there were intersting plot twists but still smething is missing.

Well pretty much the second Irving went into the water he transformed. A theory. Mybe those who control the plagas, if they will it, the transformation can happen in little time.

Besides not like we ever see prevouis enemines evolve.

lol I thought the action in Death Note was sufficient. Not to mention all the awesome stratagies that the characters used in it to try and have prof without a doubt who it was. I liked that aspect of it.

I don't know, there was a theory that Wesker was thinking of when certain people were exposed to the progenitor virus, that the state of their mind at the time had ways to influence the way they transformed. God Created Man in the Image of himself, therefore, Wesker considered himself a God, so he maintained his normal appearance for the most part, but became better.

lol i liked the fact that there wasn't much comedy in it, if there had been rediculously, over the top comedic points in it, it would have been another generic anime, with overly expressive actions and comedy. reason's why i like death note so much more than other anime out there.

I don't know. I like things happening. Not people Thinking plans out or talking. There wasn't much comedy in it ethier and that didn't help.

Mybe.

lol i liked the fact that there wasn't much comedy in it, if there had been rediculously, over the top comedic points in it, it would have been another generic anime, with overly expressive actions and comedy. reason's why i like death note so much more than other anime out there.
I'm saying over the top. I mean something everynow and than. Not every other volume. I'll admit its one of the more orginal animes I've seen but far from the best.

I personally believe the best animes came out of the 80's and 90's, i've never seen such awesome anime as i have from those generations. around in 2000 though, that's when the generic crap started coming out, such as Digimon, Beyblade (though I certainly love beyblade, but still view it as a boombaby from the pokemon craze), Flint the time detective, you know just all of these animes that had this connection from pokemon and resulted because of the pokemon phenomenon. Then, you have countless Dragonball copiers out there, and they still keep coming lol. Death Note was indeed something different from the norm and the generic that we've been fed for so long. And that's why i like it so much, definitely not my favorite anime of all time (That'd be Ronin Warriors.), but it was still unbeatable in originality.

Ronin Warriors? Man haven't heard that since I was a kid. Not to mention I bet Death Note characters are the easiest to cosplay at anime conventions(Wouldn't know never been to one.) I like the stuff thats out now. Naruto is ok aside from it being filler hell. Really theres at one point I think almost 100 episodes of filler. DragonBall/Z just classics for me. GT...noncannon and didn't see much of it. Bleach I didn't finish but found it amuseing. Gundam Wing first mech anime I ever saw. Hellsing...so graphic it hasn't been shown on Americain t.v. Same for Berserk and Gantz. (Could name more but doesn't have to much time). I wish they'd bring Toonamai back though. But you know whats sad. No matter how loved the animes we have today it won't matter in about 10 or 20 years, mybe sooner, becuase by then they'll be forgoten.

lol some may be forgotten, but ones like Dragonball, gundam, and pokemon, they won't be.

and yeah, I loved Ronin Warriors.

lol yeah, Death Note should be the easiest, since seeing that they wore normal clothing for the most part lol, no real key outfit that any of them wore except for L and near. Light, Mello, and all the other characters were always wearing something different.

Hellsing has actually been shown on the starz network, just not the Ultimate installments, those are actually considered movies though, so that's why they haven't been shown. I'm still waiting for the 8 ultimate episode, i think they stopped at seven with Zorin, or what ever that manish woman's name was, was killed.

Hey look an L cospalyer. What do you mean that guys just in a white T-shirt and jeans you mean that counts as a cosplay?

Hm. Never heard of that. Well I don't know if the OVA's would be aired just so much stuff in there that if it was on T.V. people would probably freak. Ecpeccialy parents who would think Oh its something thats drawn so it must be for kids. Zorin Blitz. Thats the name. All of those tattoes...think youv'e got enough or shall we do the other side of your body while were at it? Well Hirano finaly finished the manga. which probably took about ten years. He came out with one voulme every year and a half execpt once when he got to out in the same year.

I never saw Spawn. I heard about through "The Secert life of the characters" section i some of the Rurouni Kenshin manga where the Watasuki saying that one or two characters were made from that serise or something along those lines.

Volume 10 came in 2010 in Americia. But I highly doubt it would take about 12 years to translate it.

I have? Can't say I remeber. Well it came out in english although only mybe four episodes are in english.

"Secert life of the characters" is a section in the manga in which Watasuki tells the readers where the character ideas came from and one or two of them was from Spawn. Thats all it really is.

I really wouldn't know. But they guy, as I've said, took about a year and half to come out with one new volume.

The manga is less of the fan service, its not done yet though. But the anime I swear its intention is to...how to put this arouse one and then kill that quickly, I gusse is the best way.

lol they'd have to have the dark eyelids and black messy hair and barefooted to be L, so there's a little more to it, but yeah, aside from that, pretty simple lol.

lol I remember when i watched Spawn the animated series thinking it was for kids, and then, i was scarred for life lol.

I thought the Hellsing Manga was finished up in 98?

and yeah, you've told me about High School of the Dead lol, I just haven't watched it yet.

Huh? what do you mean 'secret life of the characters', you really confused me from talking about Spawn to rurouni kenshin lol.

I could have sworn the manga had already been released in english years back, like I thik back in 2004 or 05 They do do re-releases of manga though. I have first edition vol. 1 and 2 of yugioh in english.

and yeah, you were talking about it and fan service lol.

Ah! Ok, now we're on the same page. Let me guess, Shishio was one of the characters inspired by Spawn wasn't he? ^_^

I want to think it was. But you must know, it takes a while to make a good story and to come out with a new volume to a good story, so I think he did a good Job with Hellsing, I mean, all the history attached to it and what not, not many animes like it.

lol yeah, you told me it was a bit on the violent side.

I don't know. But I think the old man of the Juppongatona or Ten Swords was based of it.

Don't get me wrong I loved Hellsing but it seemed odd how it took ahwile for it to come out. Hirano even made a joke about useing Luke and Jan Valentine in "An Afterword Merry Manga."

Very voilent. Since blood gets splattered everywhere due to zombie eating people. The whole world pretty much got overrun. At least it wasn't just in Japan though. Giant monsters, demons, aliens, and now zombies. What hasn't happened there?
